Can u Guyz please help me with with this thing , i wud be very thankful to u .

Buy a CDMA-phone. Wether CDMA or GSM depends on hardware which cannot be changed.

Yeah, maybe just re-read what MatDrOiD posted.
Pretty sure he answered correctly.
PS, I want to turn my Honda Accord car into a Ferrari 550 Maranello. Can you tell me how??

Impossible

No you cant do that.design differences is simpliest way to explain why . CDMA phones are not designed with GSM compatibility in mind .even if they use the same hardware, software implementation in itself minimizes any chances of enabling a disabled radio or band to near impossible

The cdma and gsm is hardware related. There also seems to be a cdma only Rom. Best option is to trade on a site like craiglist or kijiji. You could also buy a cdma one somewheree like eBay then sell urs.

GSM radios can't receive CDMA bands. It's impossible.
The only way it could ever work is if the Desire used a universal radio with firmware to control what band it picks up... which it doesn't.

... And even if that is true which it isn't its near impossible you reactivate disabled bands

It can be done quite easily. Buy a CDMA Desire, take out its inner parts and put them into the housing of you GSM Desire. Voila: Your Desire, as you love it, with all its scratches and stuff, now is a CDMA device.

There are all sorts of info ou there, saying different things as to the release date of the Galaxy Nexus (Nexus Prime woulda been better!) on T-Mobile's Networks, I haven't had the time to research it as much as I'm sure some of you have, can someone confirm a date for Nexus Prime date on T-Mobile?
I'm hoping before Black Friday, so I can get it on Black Friday at Best BUy

Tell your mom you want her to switch you to Verizon.
No one knows. Thats why theres like 10000 threads about it.
When it comes down to it you can always import and use ur T-mo SIM. If I had to bet I'd say you could buy it unlocked in the USA soon enough as well. Doubt T-mo will pick it up subsidized but we'll see.

It means if somehow the unlocked version doesn't get launched here right away and you really want it, you can import one from Europe (paying extra) and put your T-mobile SIM card in it. It'll be expensive and I wouldn't recommend it if you can wait.

Doubts Verizon will see this before T-Mobile? Was that seriously just uttered? T-Mobile hasn't even announced this phone on their network, much less thought about a release date for it. Yes, it's on Samsung's site as it being available for T-Mobile, but at least Verizon has announced officially that it will have the phone and before the end of the year. T-Mobile ... not so much.
a lot of tail some diseases lots of enemies and maybe child support and divorce! but as for the new nexus...I believe VZW is the only us carrier getting one this year. if u want it on another then its over 700 for the small size 16 or possibly att tmo next year.

You can't really blame the price on Samsung. It seems high because the US dollar has lost so much in value. The actual cost in other currencies is basically the same as previous Nexus phones when you factor in VAT.
I think the GSM/HSPA version will be sold unlocked at launch in the US too. It is a phone for developers so they will want to make sure developers can get it.
OT: greatest thing about google+, I can easily mute thread that aren't useful (like my post).

HTC One V Cricket Version

I used to have Cricket so that's why I get these emails. I got this one earlier today. It looks like it is someone talking who has no idea what they are talking about but I wanted to make sure. It says you can unlock your phone using face recognition. I understand you can do that with phone running 4.0 but you do have to have a front facing camera which the One V does not have. Are they getting a modded version or is the author a derp? (fyi muve music is just a cricket app that they are proud of, it doesn't mean it's very different because it says muve music on the front instead of htc)
Can someone that has this phone post what software version you have? Since the GSM one is 2.2X+ and the VM CDMA is 1.08 I wonder if the cricket version will have newer software.
It has front facing camera???if no then how it's possible to face unlock.....??

Accidentally bought CDMA instead of GSM...

Yes I'm an idiot, I know. I bought it off eBay and realized too late.Question is, can I pay a lab to mod it for me or something? It's a Verizon. I heard it has a microSIM slot that's almost sealed shut but still existing. So it would probably just require reprogramming the frequencies. And I'll handle unscrewing the slot and inserting my SIM. Is this possible?

Worse case scenario you can sell it. The good thing is it is a very desirable phone. The sim also is completely removable. Your thinking of the sprint version which has the weird sim situation.

[SOLVED] Unique issue AFAIK

I have posted this in Q&A twice and no help, so forgive me for wrong section.
My One X has a very weird issue that no matter what I can't find anyone who has it. It has a screen flex on the right side, but if I press on the side or something else does, the phone shuts off. The only way to turn it on after this is to plug it into the wall. HTC wouldn't take it because of the bootloader. I just would like to know if there is anyway possible to fix this. I can't even put a case on the device because doing so cause the phone to turn off in my pocket.

The only thing you could do is to take it apart and search for the problem and then eventually replace the defected part
If you have the AT&T version, you'd be better off in that forum, this is for the Tegra version.
I'm.sure the States has consumer protection law, it's clearly a hardware defect. Put stock ROM and whatever else on it and insist your retailer deal.with the problem.

I can have a warranty in Turkey for devices which are bought in the EU. Better check with HTC support.

The warranty for all HTC devices is as thekillingroad mentioned is "INTERNATIONAL" and should cover the US as well. I had a problem with mine as well, a different one, but if it wasn't for the warranty provided by the carrier I've bought the device from I would've sent it in service under HTC's warranty.
You just have to contact HTC CS and they'll tell you the procedure you have to follow.
I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the repair my device received as it came back with more defects the than it was sent in with and contacted them by phone and afterwards got a complete replacement.
My advice: don't even hesitate to give them a call.
Best of luck.
