[APP][GAME] Sprinkle - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Did anybody manage to download it? For my SGW Google Market/Play says it's incompatible but my friend with Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo with similar HW specification buy it without problem
https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_2012_03_06_AppsFavorites
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mediocre.sprinkle

I think you should change something on your phone so the market detect it as htc or other phone, I saw a page on facebook discuss about that but I forgot the address..

Why is this app incompatible? This situation is something like Akinator app, the free version is incompatible but the paid one isn't... Awkward...

Four months ago I wrote an email to developer of this game. I try to explain that they omit our phone by error. For example my friend has Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo with lower HW specification than my SGW, but he buy and play Sprinkle without any problem. For my SGW Google Market/Play says that Sprinkle is incompatible.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo
MSM8255 45 nm ARMv7 1 GHz Scorpion Adreno 205 Dual-channel 333 MHz LPDDR2
Samsung Galaxy W
MSM8255T 45 nm ARMv7 1.4-1.5 GHz Scorpion Adreno 205 Dual-channel 333 MHz LPDDR2
I get the specifications from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_(system_on_chip)
And suddenly I have found that Sprinkle is compatible with SGW :good:

2 things.
1) its NVidia tegra
2) the screen size on our phone is 0.1 inch out of being able to stretch itself. (that small amount makes a big difference)

@gmaster1: I am sorry but I don't understand your points at all. Can you explain it a little bit more? For your SGW is Sprinkle still incompatible?
You didn't read last sentence in my previous post?
Sent from rooted GT-I8150 2.3.6 ~ Tapatalk 2.2.4

NVidia tegra is a graphics enchancer (hd look) and our phone is 0.1 inch away from being compatible. Any more then that inch and the game would stretch to fit the screen. And yes sprinkle is not compatible BUT i get an error on the playstore saying video nit availible (which does have something to do with screen size) instead of game not compatible (which means it wont work no matter what) so it might just work if you download it from somewhere else (just dont pirate the full game) try 1mobile market or something if you want the paid ver.

I see that you still didn't read last sentence in my previous previous post. Here is the proof that all Sprinkle game varieties are now compatible with my phone on Google Play:

On my S2 is working without chainfire or something.
I'm not sure if I should buy it... I'd like to read some review first...
now works like a charm on my phone with chainfire3D
What?Why need chainfire? It's for GT-I9100?
Is working without chainfire. I'm playing on my S2.
on my phone not working without chainfire :/
CHECK your device, some work and some not work. That must be cause by different GPU unit. Are you using GT-I9100G or GT-i9100?
Great game, and impressive graphics. I'd recommend it. Top Notch!

Working fine on my UK i9100. Great game, awesome graphics. My phone doesn't even get that hot whilst playing. Asphalt 6 used to make the phone really hot.
Good work EA.

Is the game smooth? Do you have any drop frames?
It's probably a great game.
However, I'll not buy another EA Mobile game again.
Consider Need for Speed Shift fiasco last year. EA Games held a big 0.99$ sale for the likes of Need For Speed Shift, Tetris and The Sims... Soon after, they rejigged the acceptable devices via an update, meaning that many customers couldn't re-download. Soon afterwards, they relaunched the game ... Rather than not rant, suggest prospective purchasers use google (including Market User Ratings) for these games and understand that in the past customers who purchased have been left unable to play. Buyer beware, and all that....
According to EA $6.99 is 7.70CHF...not a huge deal in itself but percentage-wise it's pretty high compared to what it should be.
v1.0.47 and 1.0.48 works on the S2 without the need for chainfire 3D.. i find this game more "arcadey" than shift though..
and gameloft should learn a thing or two from ea on how to make beautiful game without the bloating filesizes..

I don't fancy that grill both in the front and in the back and i like the original one style better as it's simpler.
even if it was using the same chipset it's useless 'cause it's not using ics...

Too bad, one of the greatest aspect of the 2 first defy is their ratio screen size / overall size...

In Romanian there's a saying that translated into English would be "same Mary with a different had" (aceeasi Marie cu alta palarie).
After another 3-4 reincarnations this phone will eventually end up being a low-end one. Why would they spend resources on "new" models instead of giving the Defy+ ICS?
Does anyone understand Motorola's strategy? I DON'T!

Snapdragon beats tegra by far?

http://www.androidauthority.com/htc-one-xl-benchmark-snapdragon-s4-tegra-3-67678/
That means that middle range device (One S) would be faster than HTC's flagship?
Until the two devices are put side by side, all of this is just silly speculation really.
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not impossible that they've dropped the ball but I'll be very shocked if
A) The S out performs the X
B) The XL is much, if any, faster than the X
i'm not sure ... but maybe the current benchmarks are simply not optimized for quad core processors. at least it is the only reason i could imagine ... why else should a dual core SoC perform better with the same GHz?

Amd fx 6core vs intel 4core i7 anyone? intel beats the amd cpu in terms of instructions per cycle
Send from my HTC HD 2
benchs are the easiest way to fool people, no wide margins here, they trade blows, T3 winds in true multitasking, 720p coverage and GPU, if we look at Antutu test T3 wins by large margins
Velloma is a test made by Qualcomm (Snapdragon makers) that doesn't scale linear across multi-core https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quicinc.vellamo&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5xdWljaW5jLnZlbGxhbW8iXQ..
Qualcomm says that's because Antutu's tests scale linearly with the number of cores - in other words, it's using multiple cores too well, from Qualcomm's perspective. That means a quad-core processor has a huge advantage over a dual-core processor, even a very fast one, on that specific test.

guys Anandtech already posted benchmarks of both devices, the S is carrying the dual s4 minus LTE, T3 and s4 are trading blows, these processors are almost equal, however keep in mind T3 has to do with native resolution in some tests, which is 77% more pixels, its clear T3 is doing better and more suited for the 720p display

Again, we're showing a huge performance advantage here thanks to Krait. Seeing as how Vellamo is a Qualcomm benchmark don't get too attached to the advantage here, but it does echo some of what we've seen earlier.

Because they arent made to work with ICS, which can be because the developer don't care/havent gotten around to update the app.
Read playstore feedback before you pay/download a app, saves you a ton of frustration.

E.A. has a ****ty support...
They have updated Plants vs. Zombies recently, to suport ICS, and guess what? No phones with HD resolution are supported, only phones up to 960x540 resolution...
Peggle, Real Racing 2, Fifa 12, Columns and others have not even been upgradade to support ICS, and even if they do, it won't probably support HD resolutions...
So, if you want to run all games, go and buy a phone with 800x480 or 854x480 resolution, that runs Gingerbread... Otherwise, some games won't run, due to ****ty support like E.A. does...

It works....... you just need to replace the sdcard binary with the one in Franco's original OP with those permissions.
@OP: Complain to the devs of the game for lack of compatibility for ICS.
Hi,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27515966&postcount=20011
See the attachement, thanks to jnr21, the zip is from him
For the games who have problems with Francisco's kernel... the sd card binary is the principal issue, but ok maybe not for all the games.
So flash the stock sd card binary and games like Max payne, FIFA...
And to the OP: how can you expect help (concrete) with so little info/details (games, rom, kernel, settings, etc...)???
Sorry for the double post, bug.
hi all,
I'm on the panaroid 1.3 and Max payne is running really weel, even better than on my old computer when the game came out. But some free games like YooNinja Free are verry laggy ?!!
I was wondering if it was not a gpu problem but i guess that max payne is much more powerful so i don't really anderstand why yooninja is laggy...

This is NOT a rumor (change the title), it is JUST a concept. People come up with imaginary concept designs and specs all the time. This is just one of them. Go to their Facebook page and you’ll see plenty of such designs for phones and tablets.
It's a concept and not some leaked rumour. Apart from that, this is the HOX section so please use the proper forum next time.
