Well looks like they launched a "new" Defy but with a front facing camera.
Still using Gingerbread...

Gonna buy Samsung next time for sure....

on photo there is much bezel, like defy mini, but screen size is 3.7
Qualcom instead of TI, probably weaker cpu and similar gpu
cpu: MSM7227A 1000 mhz (similar to defy mini, but higher clocked)

I don't fancy that grill both in the front and in the back and i like the original one style better as it's simpler.
even if it was using the same chipset it's useless 'cause it's not using ics...

In Romanian there's a saying that translated into English would be "same Mary with a different had" (aceeasi Marie cu alta palarie).
After another 3-4 reincarnations this phone will eventually end up being a low-end one. Why would they spend resources on "new" models instead of giving the Defy+ ICS?
Does anyone understand Motorola's strategy? I DON'T!

Elephone Q according to the official specs boasts of 110hours of standby time or 4hours of talk time which is pretty good for a palm sized smartphone. The back cover is made of plastic which can be swapped to other colors.
Elephone Q is one of those unique devices that target the lower-entry level smartphones, it will be really interesting to see what type of market Elephone is trying to target and see if we can see this trend being continued in the future. someone has played San Andreas on it, well a version of it, the Posh Mobile Micro x S240. (both based off the Alps S240B I believe)
I just got one of these (The Posh Mobile one) today. so far its interesting, paid 50 dollars US for it, wanted to see what it was all about. yes its small REALL SMALL lol, only dual core 1 ghz, 4gb storage, 512 mb ram, 2.45 inch screen. but funny thing, at least in benchmarks, its not as bad as I expected lol. I read about the screen size and was still surprised when I opened the package today. it reminds me of a old Samsung MP3 player from like 12 years ago. a very slim one (YP-T9, but without the dpad). Been loading various tools and such on it to see how it does. the Camera is nothing special lol. but I can deal with that

Does somebody have it? If so, can you please confirm if Pokemon Go runs on it both through 3G connection and hotspot from other device? It is for a project I've got in mind. Thx in advance!!

I wouldn't go so far as to say it isn't of much use, since as it comes it's a really great phone for the money. However, I will agree this thing needs rooting and custom ROMs. While they have done some neat things in the stock ROM, I'd prefer speed and battery life (although neither are bad as-is) increases by doing something like porting the OnePlus 5T's Oxygen OS. The option of "stock Android" doesn't really get there - but a great idea.

I agree with you that this smartphone is elegant. Its screen looks great, the speakers very correct and ROM so well optimized. The camera looks more than adequate especially for the price of the phone, the only brake I can have is on the storage space of 32GB which may be sufficient for some but that may prevent me to fully use full HD and 4K videos. I will finally congratulate smartisan for this design worked and for the difference of others, its design and its rich features really caught my eye.
