Hello everyone! I recently broke my back door of the arc and I want to find a replacement, but the problem that I am living in U.A.E., and will be one week in U.K. this week. Where can I possible find one ( looking not for original but other color)
Simple ...
Browse ebay.uk ...
Search for "Sony Ericsson Xperia arc Housing/Back Cover" ...
Select one listing (Cheap and genuine)...
Find the seller info (Mobile Or email)...
Contact him ...
Go purchase from him directly/Or ask him to ship the item to ur UK address ...
Anyways you will be going to UK, so no probs ...
Indeed, ebay will get you lots of cheap back covers (official and not).
You can also grab the opportunity and get one of these.

hi all,
just joined up as im about to buy a xperia arc after a long think of what phone to get.
the only thing i dont like so far with the arc is the colours, the silver or dark blue. what i would like to know is, is there any replacement or alternative coloured housings for the arc? i would like white (like the new arc s ) looked on ebay and all i found are the odd one or two official houses and cases.
any help would be grand, if not i guess ill have to wait for the new arc s to come out on contract (anyone know if tmobile will be getting this?)
thanks all
chris
when you sufer the " arc Crack Housing" you may ask for a new housing by warranty with another color .
I have the crack in the housing aswell but i don't care, I need white replacement kit for my arc to look more beautiful, is there any website that can provide me that?
I searched like everywhere but i can't find any, including all the tools to do it myself.
Tho even without tools would be gratefull, i can get it to a friend that has em to do it for me.
You have to ask Sony Ericsson service, they told me they can change my housing to Pure White from arc S if I pay, I don't know how much yet.
Please report back when you know the price
I would like to know where I can find one too. My Arc will be reborn after the change.

I've been asking around about changing the casing for my Arc blue/black to a white casing (from Arc S)... There's just 1 problem: as soon as you unscrew your original casing, special clearpaint on the screw's is damaged, therefore voiding your waranty.... Haven't checked yet with SE Service Center if it's possible to send it to them to change the casing....... Anyone asked yet..?

about 100 euro is new original housing for xperia neo, that they tell for my girlfriend neo.
So arc is even more expensive.
Ask them, if you open and replace by your self you will automaticly loose warranty.
Very much eager to get a new casing for my lovely Arc S!
No way to get one very soon!!
There is no official SE Servicing center in our country & that's the most irritating reason for not being able to buy a new casing for my Arc s!
I wish I could have the White ones for mine!
This is a very old thread, chances are that all of them have a new phone already
Hello guys,
I just joined this forum, okay i will keep this as brief as possible.
I want to buy a screen guard/case for xperia ray, anything that will protect it from scratches. I am from India and would like to know if anyone knows an online store which will ship to this country or is present in the country.
Thanks a lot,
Manu
If ur in bangalore just go to national market
Anyone know? Or is the stock in the stores & warehouses all there is of this phone forever?
Yep all new devices are being made, if shops are selling it is only old stock.
New phones like the s,p,u are just coming out so why make old phone.

I dont think so..Sony manufactures a model atleast for a year from the month of launch.
i dont know whether "Sony" and "Sony Ericsson" will cause a problem..
but normally they dont stop production atleast for a year.they may reduce the number of output.
BTW Wrong section...Question goes to Q&A Section and NOT in General Section
i bay it for 220euros 1 month ago

Stopped?
I have contacted the biggest electronics shop today and they don't sell the Xperia Arc S anymore because they're out of stock. The informant also told me that Sony Ericsson stopped producing these phones because Sony bought Sony Ericsson. The best way to still get this phone is to search online on the internet. There are still enough people who have a new Xperia Arc S.
Hello my Xperia z1 compact stop working out the blue so u gave it back to the place i bought it. Its been a week and the company contacted me saying the device is bent and that it voids my warranty :-/. I dnoo what too do i think the company is blaging me so they don't have to replace or repair my phone i bought my phone from amazon can someone please advise me
First, use a meaningful topic title.
Second, you said you bought it via Amazon, who is "the company" (a marketplace seller?) and why didn't you make use of the device's warranty and send it to one of Sony's service centers?

AP-direct after explaining that i never seen my phone being bent they have agreed to refunding my money back
Interesting... I remember someone in the forums mentioning the Z1 bending when there is too much heat, but not the Z1 Compact. I wonder how common this is with our phone?
Edit: This probably should have been posted in the questions/help forum, Pakman123
The first batch of S7 active have the waterproof problem. Samsung told that they fixed it in the second batch and replace first batch for free . So when we buy phone from ebay. How can we check that phone is fixed ? The date it was made or imei ?
Thank you you guys. Sorry for my English.
Very good question.
any news on this ??
as im looking to get one in the UK too !
I read some articles saying that it's not specific to any batch. The best strategy is to bring the phone underwater and see if it holds. Good news is that this phone is pretty new so even if you buy from Ebay, it sure is under warranty, as long as the phone is not on any blacklist. Samsung is getting quite good in customer service, at least in my experience. I bought an S7 active from Ebay which has serious scratches and re-booting issue. I called Samsung, sent the phone to them and around a week later, they send back with new main board, new screen and essentially everything new. No more scratches!
thats some great news cppc
are you in the UK too ? if so, which eBayer did you use ? and which samsung contact did you use ?
and lastly, did samsung question how you got the phone etc ?? ..

No I'm in the US. I just called the Samsung support contact on their website. They didn't ask me for proof of purchase, just the IMEI. They did, however, ask me to stop by Bestbuy first as they have a specialized technician there to see if that guy can help fix the issue. Since that guy couldn't help, they sent me the shipping label to send the device to them. In the end I didn't have to pay anything
