AOSP Launcher - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Does anyone have an apk for the AOSP launcher for 2.3.6. I'm wanting to use something other than adw and I don't like touchwiz. Or if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be really helpful. Thanks guys!

Search for Eugene373 gingerbread launcher in gplay. No frills, I love it personally.

REAL Froyo Launcher on 2.2 ROM?

Anyone know how to install the vanilla launcher on CyanogenMod6? Adwlauncher is cool and all but I like most of the original Google applications best. Or I guess a better question is if anyone knows how to get the 3d drawer for CyanogenMod 6? Thanks.

Yeah, I was going to suggest ADW too, but the tradeoff to that is that you lose Sense and all it's widgets. For some people, that might be fine, but depending what you're looking for, it might be a dealbreaker. I'm not sure if any of the custom sense roms offer that option. Maybe someone else could chime in about that.

touchwiz 4.5 on ics

hi, does anyone know if touchwiz 4.5 works on ics? am runnin omega 3.2 ics rom now and i really want touchwiz 4.5 thanks

I was using Omega but the Go Launcher was awesome, I have now moved to Resurrection Rom 9.6 unfortunately its a full wipe ROM but it works amazingly with the NOVA Launcher. I find the Touchwiz ok but NOVA gives a better experience in ICS
I tried to use it on resurrection 9.6..I doesn't work...I liked Nova launcher but it has very limited options and I don't like the black back ground in application drawer... two was simple and yet configurable and I liked the slightly transparent background and the bounce effect in application drawer and home screen which could be configured..again this feature is missing in Nova launcher...I feel Nova launcher has very limited options

thats exactly why a dont like nova launcher to mate. the app drawer in touchwiz is better. hopefully someone will fix it to make it compatable

Camera on Lockscreen?

I'm running Calk's E4GT 2 v1.2 ICS ROM. I thought ICS was supposed to let us put the camera app on the lockscreen but I can't find anyway to do it. I know I can get a 3rd party app like WidgetLocker to do it, just wondering if there's a way right in ICS though.

It's not a feature on TW.

I'm not using the TW Launcher though, I'm running the vanilla ICS launcher. Shouldn't that make a difference?

he probably means touchwiz as a whole not just the launcher. i think there is a flashable zip somewhere in the theme/app subforum to get the AOSP lockscreen that has the camera shortcut.
Ah, okay I get it now. Half asleep at work. I'll look for it and thanks guys!

[Q] Where is Android's default launcher?

First, I'm not as tech. savvy as you all here. I'm just a person who doesn't like HTC's Sense design and I'm not sure on how to get rid of it so I can have the true Ice Cream Sandwich experience.
So, I tried the idea the person had here: lifehacker.com/5600912/turn-off-htcs-sense-ui-on-your-android-phone. I went to homescreen and nothing changed at all. Then I looked through all of my apps only to find that there is no launcher.
I'm really iffy about downloading another launcher as that sort of defeats the purpose of trying to get/find the default launcher that should be here. What should I do?

Thanks but what are those? Are those alternate launchers? I don't want to use any alternate launchers, I want to use Android without all that extra stuff.

Download another launcher.. apex or nova is stock ICS with more customization if you want stock ics you'll have to download Cm9 custom rom

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. C: Just tried out the Nova launcher and it already works just a little faster and looks much nicer.
Well I feel the oposite. I'd rather have Sense than stock ICS launcher.
