Anyone know how to install the vanilla launcher on CyanogenMod6? Adwlauncher is cool and all but I like most of the original Google applications best. Or I guess a better question is if anyone knows how to get the 3d drawer for CyanogenMod 6? Thanks.

I like LauncherPro, but use ADW because of how tied in it is with CM6.

Gotta go with launcher pro. The scrolling dock owns.

The CM6 ADW launcher has a nice dock drawer that serves a similar function.

I've been using LauncherPro Plus for a couple of weeks now. It's nice, and the Plus version has decent replacements for many of the HTC Sense widgets, which you can't use with third-party launchers.
I haven't really tried ADW or anything else, though.

Tied in as in its installed in cm6? That's about all the integration there is.
You would get the same effect installing adw on another rom. No reason to give up launcher pro.
Launcher pro hands down in my opinion. Does not have complete theming built in but you can change the dock background. Then use something like "shortercut" which is free to change icons. Overall I highly suggest it...
definitely launcherpro.
Zeam is also pretty sweet. It seems to incorporate the best of adw and launcher pro. Plus it's quick.
Launcher Pro for design
Android Launcher for efficiency
Is it possible to delete sense from a sense rom? If so would it be stock aosp and would my launcher pro settings still stick after deleting sense?

Not sure. There are NON sense roms out there though. Not sure about launcher pro but take a look at the Rosie mods out there and the themes for Sense in the Theming section
Calkulin has a utility that will rip out Sense from any Sense ROM, but I've never tested it.
Honestly, the best idea would be to backup your Launcher Pro settings with Titanium Backup and install CM6.1. That is vanilla Android plus essentially unlimited settings.

Running cynogen final, was wanting the app drawer that comes with the stock gingerbread its almost cube like
Thanks

Use ADW EX and pick the "4D" drawer style in the settings or download the gingerbread launcher from the market. There's probably a way to do it in LP but I haven't used it so I don't know.
Thanks exactly what I was looking for. Thanks alot.
No problem, I like the "cube" app drawer too.
I have a stock GB launcher from the market by a dev Eugene## not sure what the numbers are but it runs very smooth and is stock.
I'm getting really tired of HTC Sense, and I don't really want to mess around with launchers at the moment. I'm wanting to basically disable Sense and revert it to the basic android look. Anyone know if this is possible on and unrooted Evo 4G running 2.3.3? And if not, is there a really good launcher that will imitate that look?
well to start, if you "turn off" sense you will need a launcher. Launcher 2 would look the most like what i think you are looking for. just remove all widgets from homescreens on sense and select that launcher as the default.
or
you could flash one of these
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1092221
they have most of sense removed.
or
try an aosp rom
I second Launcher2. I was never a fan of the bloatware we know as sense.

I tried looking up Launcher 2 in the market, but i couldnt find it.
Yea me too. Try Gingerbread Launcher free or Android 2.3 Launcher (Home).
Alternatives are ADW, Go Launcher and Launcher Pro. There are also themes for the launchers to customize them further.
The following are themes to make the launchers look more like stock gingerbread
ADW - here or here
Go Launcher - only found 1 theme but had bad reviews
Launcher Pro - here

I'd recommend Launcher Pro, there are tons of free themes for it and you can customize almost everything. Both Launcher Pro and ADW are both good, I would try both (they are free in the market) and see which one you like better. I used sense exclusively until I found Launcher Pro, I preferred it over ADW. If you want to completely get rid of sense, then the only option is to root and check out the senseless ROMs that are posted in the development section, or the AOSP ROMs.
Edit: I didn't fully read the post lol

Does anyone have an apk for the AOSP launcher for 2.3.6. I'm wanting to use something other than adw and I don't like touchwiz. Or if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be really helpful. Thanks guys!
Search for Eugene373 gingerbread launcher in gplay. No frills, I love it personally.
