black google search box from maddoggins 8 screen mod

anybody know where i can find that black google search box for the maddoggins lockscreen mod? Or which apk and files to pull to use it? I tried just pulling the google serach apk but that wasnt it. Any help is appreciated. I love that one but running eh17 and so cant flash it quite yet unless he decided to do it.

Tried it and got the regular search box.. some reason on eh17 it didn't even let me install the apk even after I deleted from titan backup and rebooted

I think this is the one you want. Its almost a smoky black transparent one. I extracted it from White Shadow theme.. http://db.tt/GtgIki6. Make sure you are on Deodexed version of EH17. I don't think you will need to push it with a file manager.

Not sure if that's the one either.. it doesn't lok like any other search boxes I've seen.. its like a glossy black black and thinner.. I tried dling that link but it crashed my browser each time and when it did go through it wouldn't install at all even after removing the stock.. now gotta do a restore cause the search box isn't in sync wth the keypad. I actually have to click on the browser instead of just typing.. thanks anyways though

No clue, I'm currently looking for it too. I have a regular modded version but it's just not the same.

I don't know why the one I posted doesn't work unless its tied to gapps. It has a blacked out icon instead of blue....let me dig some more. I know of 3 places that have it.

You are talking about one like this screenshot right? I changed my wallpaper to make it more visible...EDIT...ok, I found out its NOT tied to framework. Its the widget you want right? It doesn't work by pushing it with Root Explorer?

Ok I know there were like 3 different threads with prople wanting/needing the newest sprint tv app... instead of trying to find the different threads I am going to post it here... http://db.tt/cHv0mN60
If you have the problem that yours won't update then delete it from system/app and then install this as a normal .apk... no need to push to system/app.... you probably can but there is no need to as it installs just fine as a normal app

I need help I am on the cynamgen mtd rom and when I press a channel it looks for my location then it goes to the spinning circle. I have gone back to stock and did a titanium back up and I do a restore once on the cynamagen rom. If I install the above mentioned apk it says can't verify subscription. My sprint football works any suggestions please help would love to watch my NBA games.

I wish I could help you out man but I have the same problem with cm so I just restore a tw mtd rom when my heat are playing... sorry... you can try out the new sprint nba app though it works pretty well!

Also confirmed. Couldn't find it from the market on my phone but installed it from computer and it pushed it to my Epic with CM9. Wouldn't push to my Evo 3D running ICS though.

Once I figure out the issue with CM9 not flashing correctly on my epic ill have to check this out... thanks for the heads up!

I have just installed this. It did take a little maneuvering:
I had flashed CM9 directly over CM7 (it worked, but it had to "optimize" some apps).
Apparently, this did not update my accounts such that the Market recognized my phone as being Android "4.0 and up" A quick removal and re-addition of my account fixed the error and I was indeed able to install!

I saw someone have an issue using Shift and Fn on the hardware kb in another thread..
They work as long as you hold them down, then press the key, and then release..

Deleting inverted gapps help.

So i didn't want to clo a forum so I'm asking here. Weird thing on the newest aokp build and a previous one too is I installed Gmail app and the inverted gapp. Since then I can't read anything my wife emails, just my message. How do I go delete the inverted gapp and reflash again? Or is there any other way around this? Thanks

Unfortunately the best way to fix this is to wipe and reinstall whatever ROM you are running.

Is anybody actually excited to use the multiview feature? I mean, ya its extremely awesome what this guy did and the option to have it awesome but seeing my friend have the note 2 and use the feature just seems like its not as "beneficial as it seems" maybe people can list what they would use the feature for? I see one good reason... editing build.prop and having xda open in the other window...

I could not get the wifi hotspot to work. Please post steps as to how you did.

Any one got multiview to work? I can find it under settings i flashed the zip but i cant find out how to use it i sesrch everywhere on my phone.

Flash the .zip in CWM.
Once you are done, then go to twitter or something and click a link and hit "Popup window" then you can use Multi view.

It's a variant of multi-view basically.

He has 2 windows open at once, sort of like multi-view.

That's pop up browser not multi view, their is no need to flash the .zip for that. Also flashing the .zip does nothing you have to manually place the files yourself.

What's your battery life like with this? I'm just starting to use it but I was plugged in all night and now an hour after unplugging I'm already at 89%??

Not so great here either. Android system usage is very high when the screen is off.
This is like when I was running the LI8 Jellybean leak, although since this is a port, the reasons for high android system usage while screen off could very well have different causes I guess, but the symptom is the same.
