Is anybody actually excited to use the multiview feature? I mean, ya its extremely awesome what this guy did and the option to have it awesome but seeing my friend have the note 2 and use the feature just seems like its not as "beneficial as it seems" maybe people can list what they would use the feature for? I see one good reason... editing build.prop and having xda open in the other window...

I could not get the wifi hotspot to work. Please post steps as to how you did.
Any one got multiview to work? I can find it under settings i flashed the zip but i cant find out how to use it i sesrch everywhere on my phone.

Once you are done, then go to twitter or something and click a link and hit "Popup window" then you can use Multi view.

It's a variant of multi-view basically.

He has 2 windows open at once, sort of like multi-view.

What's your battery life like with this? I'm just starting to use it but I was plugged in all night and now an hour after unplugging I'm already at 89%??

Not so great here either. Android system usage is very high when the screen is off.
This is like when I was running the LI8 Jellybean leak, although since this is a port, the reasons for high android system usage while screen off could very well have different causes I guess, but the symptom is the same.

Its like saying "remind me"....If you tell GN "Please tell me" anything it will set an alarm...just like "remind me".
Okay I have read instructions for our devices and I'm kind of confused. Do we need to just download the. Apk file or the zip or both? Do we flash the zip in recovery and that's it? I read the instructions and I'm sorry if I'm a little slow but it just wasn't all that clear to me.

I used the M6 file from this post on that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29756226&postcount=2856 It's working great so far. The only issue I've found is that you can't exit using the back button. You need to press the home button to exit.
Also, even though the instructions say its for CWM, it's not. You can flash it using any recovery.
Download the M6 file, copy it to your SD card, reboot into recovery and flash it, then reboot and poof you're done.

Turned my double press home button to voice dial and not a voice anymore, I didn't like it. Flashed my TWRP back up and I'm normal again. Good luck!

carp, theres supposed to be a lib file for the gallery. im going to take down the gallery link and reupload it with the lib. will do the same for the camera just in case. there are 5 for the camera, so im not sure which one or all is needed. i cant seem to find one for the music player

All, I tried renaming everything to match what was being replaced. Then I did not rename anything. I tried installing them normally. I tried everything I could think off. I'm guessing it's because the note 2 runs on JB on the rom I'm on is ICS. I'll try them tomorrow with one of our leaks.

Is the gallery a flash-able zip? How do you install the gallery apk? Do you push it to sytem>app along with the odex file and should I or do I have to back up the original gallery apk?

Camera Sound Off at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.akirilow.tool.cso&hl=en for an easy way to turn off the camera shutter sound.
Found it last night.
You need to be rooted.

I was just thinking to myself "why mod it so that every app you have installed shows up in the multiwindow bar?" This presents incompatibilities and also makes it hard for those who have a lot of apps installed (me) to really find what we're looking for to actually multitask with.
With the latest leak they've added the ability to specify which apps get multiwindow support through the awesome CSC engine. Now, instead of having all of your installed apps show up, you can pick and choose which ones you'd like to be added.
If you ever wondered how those Sprint apps got added to the list, it's by editing the feature.xml file located in /system/csc
Find this line:

I have over 300 apps installed and this is the perfect way to make sure I'm not scrolling endlessly as I try to find the app I want to multitask with. A reboot later and your new app should show up in the list.

I modified the feature.xml and added the Yahoo Mail app (com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.mail) entry and then rebooted. When I went into Multi Window, I was able to add Y!Mail and was able to split screen it.

Appears Chrome Beta and Chrome are not able to co-exist in Multiwindow. I added Chrome Beta (com.chrome.beta) to feature.xml and then Chrome is not available to split screen with. I then tried to add Chrome (com.android.chrome) to feature.xml as well, but only 1 Chrome will show up.

If you use root explorer, navigate to data/app, all the passage names are listed there... just leave out -1.apk... so for quick pic (the blue app icon you see in the screenshot) it would be com.alensw.PicFolder

not all apps are there. i have found a few in another folder. sometimes doing a search in root explorer is better.
