It should show up in your downloads folder or the subfolder of whatever browser youre using

It shows as an apk on my pc but only shows as a zip on my phone. Hrmm somethings not right. It is working for other ppl. I try to extract with androzip and I get all the internal stuff no apk. So I tried to flash the zip and it locked up my phone. Any ideas?

Now why did you start a brand new thread instead of waiting for an answer where you originally posted?
I will try to help you out there.
I didn't want to have it deleted there as that wasn't the original topic. Sorry

You need to download from the site or mirror and before you download it should tell u if it's a HTML it a rare file
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
I.meant rar or zip file

Ok so switch it to a rar?

Try a different browser.
If you're on a mac, Safari is known to do that with .zip files
Couldn't get it to work have to do it from the computer..

no, you cannot just switch an html file to an rar file.
You are right clicking the link to download, and you are downloading the html file for the mirror site, NOT the actual file. You need to click the link to get to the mirror, then there will be a link to download the zip file.
Yeah, better stick to using the computer on this one, the phone wants to use the htm which makes no sense. I used to always download them from the phone.

I have been trying to download a from directly from my phone to internal storage. Whether on wifi or 3d I get a message saying unsuccessful. I am using ET4G

May sound stupid but, have you checked to see if you have sufficient storage space available?

Have you tried downloading from a computer then transferring it over?
Phone downloads at times can corrupt a download but not stop it.
try using a different browser.
For whatever reason, I have never had any problems whatsoever using Xscope:

Also, this apk is called "download all files", and it works well when having that issue:

Hope this helps.

Mine did the same thing. Something to do with the stock browser only allowing downloads of certain file types.
Download this app (it's tiny) from the market. It works with your native browser by unlocking it's ability to download files of all types. Install it and open it. Arrow back out. Then open your browser and download your file like usual. You should be able to download any file of any type from now on.

Hey guys I noticed all of my flashable downloads end up in my internal sd and was wondering how I go into my phone to set it up for the zip files to go to my SD card? Thanks
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda
If you are downloading using the browser, open browser and go to menu> settings> default storage and select memory card. Most apps and stuff have a setting to change the location of where everything ends up

You know how the devs say to download the zip to your sd card? That is what I'm talking about.. Vs the zips going to my internal. Are you referring to that too?

I turned my phone off and on and now my SD card isn't being read. My phone says it's mounted and I can go into it with Root Explorer and mess with anything and everything, but when I go into Apollo or Google Play Music, no music is shown, and when I go into gallery, no pictures are shown. How do I fix this?
Check for a .nomedia file on the root of your sd card.

I found it and deleted it, but no luck. Still can't find music files and pictures in Gallery.
Did you reboot after and verify it was gone? Also look in your music and picture directories for that file and remove it. Then reboot.

I thought so too. A reboot doesn't matter when it comes to that. I got so mad at my phone when it was a simple solution... -__-
