[Q] Ics Beta Wifi stuck authenticating. - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Some1 can help me or have the same issue. I dont think its from the router cause mac filtering is turned off and using gingerbread the wifi works perfect.
Also when I press download some app from market it stucks at downloading but sometimes download never starts or the download is very very slow.

Nothing?

What kernel are you using? Dooms requires the wifi modules to be flashed.

im using the ics doomkernel. signal and 3g works ok the problem is only on wifi and when im downloading from market

I have had the same problem with acronium ICS v2 and I have solved it reinstalling the ROM without wipe, and now it works perfect.

If it's only on the market then check that the date and time are correct...

Download IcElite Beta 1 Rom. It comes with the kernel. Flash boot the kernel and install the rom. the wifi will work fine. I used to had the same problem with DoomsKernel.

Did you try this from the CM7 wiki or in the threads where people had wifi problems:
Q: WIFI doesn't connect properly.
A: Issue should be fixed by CM7 RC0 but if issue still persists, make sure WIFI sleep policy is set to never. If issue continues, Use a file explorer with root write capabilities, navigate to /system/etc/wifi/ and delete "wifi_supplicant.conf". Reboot, you will need to reinput your wifi passwords if you had any.

[q] wifi kill itself

Hello so I install V6 Supercharge( needs busybox 1.18.2) script and it was awesome. But I notice that my wifi want not working even though it had all 3 signal bars. So I uninstall V6 supercharged and busybox app. However it still didn't solve the problem.
So I decided to clean my entire system so I installed a brand new version of Juggernaut 4.1 but the problem still doesn't go way
For example, I'm using wifi and it had the 3 signal bars. Then it just dies but the wifi signal stay there its unchanged. The only way to fix is to turn wifi off then turn it back.
DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OF???
THANK YOU

ROFL, he doesn't need to install CWM Recovery just to wipe all. He has stock recovery where he can do wipe data and cache or just put a code in the dialer.
Just shut off the phone and turn it on by pressing Home button + Power and you will get into stock recovery, then wipe data and cache.
i tried many ways like pressing the code in the dial pad, rebooting, wiping cache/data, reflashing but nothing happens

Try flashing another firmware
Sent from my GT-S5660 using xda premium
a new firmware would fix it why would u like 2.3.4 when the latest is 2.3.6, try to flash DXKT4 and then make a factory reset hope this helps
I would suggest, you give a shot to the new CyanogenMod 7.2
Follow this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1381355
I tell you, it is much more reliable than you might think. Moreover, because of the custom kernel, you can select some pre-installed CPU governor, so that your GIO become even a bit faster.
Good Luck
Hi,
First, i would like to know, you are upgrading from what firmware to what firmware? is it one package firmware or full package?
I would suggest you to flash it again, but this time, using the full package firmware. After that, don't forget to wipe data/cache, and then factory reset, all via recovery mode.
My exp about upgrading:
- from S5660DXKC3 (froyo, one package) to S5660DXKP6 (gingerbread, one package)
- unstable, lagging, wasteful of battery (bottom line is, disappointed)
Note that xkp6 2.3.6 on xda thread has been modified, on sammobile its a clean rom

Dear Friends,
I bought an "olleh" galaxy gio and updated it to 2.3.6 from Odin.
Now the"Olleh" logo do not show and in its place samsung generic logo show on startup.
Main problem is, since update, my "auto-rotate" option rotates screen in opposite directions and when switching on wifi or BT, it just shows "Error".
No detail of error is shown.
Except that everything is fine. Calling, texting and gaming...
I used the following ROM to update:
S5660XXKTF_S5660DBTKT1_S5660XXKT4_HOME.tar.md5
Please help me with WIFI as I need it very much and could save me alot.

When flashing with ODIN:
Make sure you flash the right firmware! If you flashed any firmware, it also flashes their model's and Country's: modem, csc, kernel, system, etc...
Thus resulting wifi, data, bluetooth, and connectivity errors.
Find the right Stock ROM for your Gio model here. Then use ODIN to flash it.

[Q] SD card sometimes removes automatically

Hi,
a few months ago I installed Chobits Digitalis v2. It works like a charm without bugs, except 1. When my wifi is turned off, and sometimes when wifi is on, it says my sd card is removed when it's still in when I unlock my phone. He starts scanning media and ****, and when he's finished it works normally but it happens to often and it's annoying me. Is there a solution for?
Thanks!
Well latest stock rom and then flash your rom again it is a bug from old stock rom also search before posting

Bluetooth Error

hi everyone..I have 1 weird problem with my play. Before all this mess started, I am using lupus gb 7 kernel and aurora play_v1.1.0.then I want to use lupus gb 12 480p and in order to get 640mb data partition,I flash the .62 Phoenix vendor. after that flash kernel and reinstall fresh auroraplay again.of course I did format chace, data etc...before flash the rom. everything was fine but in setting-about phone, my baseband is still showing .64 which is belong to .58 firmware.and my Bluetooth cannot scan or make it discoverable.Other thing wifi and signal have no problem..
I also try reflash the baseband only and kernel..still no luck to solve it.I believe this is not rom related cause it is the same rom before.
I hope some one can tell me how to solve this error.
