Hello so I install V6 Supercharge( needs busybox 1.18.2) script and it was awesome. But I notice that my wifi want not working even though it had all 3 signal bars. So I uninstall V6 supercharged and busybox app. However it still didn't solve the problem.
So I decided to clean my entire system so I installed a brand new version of Juggernaut 4.1 but the problem still doesn't go way
For example, I'm using wifi and it had the 3 signal bars. Then it just dies but the wifi signal stay there its unchanged. The only way to fix is to turn wifi off then turn it back.
DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OF???
THANK YOU

This morning i made the mistake of checking for a PRL update out of Swags-Stock RC1 Rom. I was planning on switching to CM7 and wanted to check the radios just to be sure they were the latest *DUMB*. During the update check i got a force close error. I did not write down what crashed but ever since this force close, i can no longer access the 3g data on any of my nandroid backups. I've restored my stock nandroid and tried to update PRL info out of there and i also tried to push on the latest radio updates. Everything seems to go ok but still no data.... Any thoughts? The 3g symbol is displayed, wi-fi works and i can make phone calls still.
Fixed: I had to try several times, but eventually fixed the issue by one again nandroiding my stock rom backup, rebooting, updating PRL firmware through the stock rom. Back to normal after that
What if you didn't make a stock rom nan? How do you fix?

Go to the dev section, and there are a few threads of just stock rooted roms. Download the firmware to match your bootloader.
Am I the only one having wifi issues with any of the custom kernels? LoSt and zedomax both break my wifi it will work sporadically here and there but I can never get it to work for long periods of time and this is bothersome because 3g and 4g both suck in my area... anyone have any advice (and yes I always wipe dalvik and cache when flashing anything...)

If you have it set to stay on and are having problems, I had this issue after trying a few kernels where 4G and Wifi didn't connect right..if at all. How I fixed it was I flashed crawrj's odexed with Busybox and root in Odin (use deodexed if flashing themes). It wont touch your apps but will add back bloat apps if you deleted them. Then Odin pulled stock kernel. You will have root and Busybox and Wifi will be fixed. You can also try pulled stock w/ CWM as well

Thanks I will give it a shot when I get home!
Hi, So, I rooted using Odin OC EL29, and then added EL29 CWM Rogue using E4GT Auto.exe. Installed tether app. Everything works fine (except Sprint's crappy data speeds, I swear, my prē felt faster).
I wanted to take my phone in to sprint, because it's been getting really hot, just on phone calls (like 113° F).
So, I went back to vanilla, no root. Made a back up. Did a data wipe, and used E4GT Auto.exe to uninstall persistent root.
Got a new battery, Wiped Data, Dalvik, Battery and Cache. Rooted again using Odin OC, and then added EL29CWM, again, restored my back up, but when I turn my hotspot on, my pc won't see my network. I turned on the sprint hotspot service to have some kind of internet on my pc while I was unrooted. Would that cause a problem? Also when rooted using WiFi Tether 3.1 Beta 11.
maybe something went wrong when u flashed it. and when u did the backup it kept the bug then u restored it with the bug still on it. u can flash a stock rooted rom and reinstall the wifi tether app or install a rom that already has wifi tether hack. i recommend blu kuban rom

Try re-installing wifi tether app, wiping the apps data and cache. Also make sure its on the right profile under settings

I personally think stock is filled with a bunch of nonsense that I never used. I am absolutely in love with jellybean and I'm never turning back. For a fresh install I just use el26.
Yes I always keep a stock 1 click on my laptop to update prl and profile then get gps lock. It also cane in handy when I installed a bad zip and my nandroid was corrupted. I only had about 5 minutes before I had to leave the house to gwt the phone back up and ran stock all day that day.
I stay on stock rooted, its safest, great battery life and I still have 4g

I was having issues with my GPS not working so I Odin'd back to rooted ICS and fixed it using the dialer wipe option from one of the threads here. That Odin flash also flashed the LG1 modem back onto my phone. I then restored my AOKP 4.2 nandroid and everything was cool, but I noticed my data would never switch from 3G (UMTS:3) to H+ (HSPA:15) sometimes leaving me without a data connection because my area is weird about stuff like that.
After realizing is was back on LG1 modem I flashed the JK3 modem and my phone would connect to H+ again.
Just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them or know why it would happen. FYI, back on LG1 before the JB release my data was fine without any issues.

how do you go back to ics from jelly bean? I am rooted as well but want to go back to ics. Sorry for not answering the question. I'm sort of new to this.

If you want rooted stock ICS download one of the root injected Odin images from the no trip root thread. If you don't want root, then download a stock image from the stock images thread. Pretty simple, but you will have to wipe data or you will get bootloops or force closes.
