Hi,
I switched my phone off & when I turned it on a widget appeared on my home screen which was not there before as seen in the pictures.
When I open it links to a website on the browser showing this on the picture.
The last app I installed was beautiful widgets and I am running stock 2.3.4 unrooted & bootloader locked if that helps.
My question is then could this be a virus to steal information?
Or am I just paranoid

not really sure. it looks more like some kind of fake service which only shows ads. some important questions
1. did some app recently asked for root permissions?
2. what permissions has asked for the widget you installed(when installing from market)

Just realised I give the phone permission to install non market apps as I use amazon apps store.
Maybe it is from there..
Thanks for the reply!

I have similar GPS problems like you after up-grade to ver 2.3.4! What's rom version of yours X'Play?
gps.conf is a file you can use fasterfix app from market to change default gps satellite try it requires root
I believe system/etc/gps.conf (don't quote me)

After flashing a few ROMs last night, FBiX no longer works, out gives me a notification saying ' Could update from facebook'.
Tried fresh installing stock, XTX7 and KA20; same thing. Also tried removing any Sony related apps from Facebook.
Please help, Google didn't find anything so I guess this is a rare one.

Found some users having the same problem, people say it's because of some new facebook updates. So all I can duo is wait and hope Sony fixes it?

Is anyone having trouble with Play Store? Mine is disappearing. The only way that I can install it back on is to re flash my rom. This is weird and I dont know why it is happening.
