[Q] Applications Deleted still take space..

I goto Settings>Phone Storage SD Storage..
I download install via market...
i uninstall if i don't like it and then i recheck settings
it shows that it's still taking up space even though its gone..
REBOOT still the same any ideas
You need to check your internal memory for space either in use or free. SD card storage is not where you wanna look.
Try an app called mini info

[Q] Can't move App even with Free Space

I'm using Link2SD and even though there are Gigabytes of free space, I can't move a 6MB app from the SD card to the SD card's second partition because of apparently lack of free space:
"pkg: /mnt/asec/appnamehere/pkg.apk Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE]"
The internal memory has about 50MB free, SD card has 7GB free and the second partition has 800MB free..
In fact, I can't move any apps to or from the SD card or internal memory either. However, I can unlink apps back to the internal memory without issues.
I'm using ICS for HTC Desire 0.5.1, default HBoot, Clockworkmod Recovery Touch 5.8.0.2, aGPS and default homescreen with no scripts.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks.
Did you try to restart your device? Do the same process again...

[Q] CM 7.2 after moving apps to SD card Internal memory not getting refreshed

i have installed Cm rom 7.2 on my buzz , after moving apps to Sd card internal memory is not getting refreshed...seems like it has been occupied by app only which has been moved to sd card....please help (do ask if you are not clear about the problem i am facing)
Do you mean that for example you have angry birds on internal memory (22 MB) then you move it to sdcard so it become 2 MB. The free space doesn't increase those 20 MB??
If that is what you mean then the answer is really simple. Just wait !
Close the app manager and use your phone normally, after a while go to the app manager again and see the free space

[Q] Fresh Root = No Storage Space Anymore ?!?!? Help

So last night I rooted my Note 2 (t889), installed titanium pro (froze bloatware), installed rom manager and set CPU. All of a sudden my phone is telling me i have no storage space avaliable. It is saying all my internal storage is used up and even tho it says i have 10+gb available on my 32gb sd card, its also stating that the SD card is full as well.
Can someone provide some insight. I dont understand. The phone was rooted and bloatware frozen how can all my storage all of a sudden be eaten up.
Thanks,
Bump please help this is irratating. I cant do many things with 0 memory
Chances are you froze something you shouldnt have. Defrost them all and start over 1 at a time

Use some kind file manager and check where space is used on internal storage and internal sd card. I think by default titanium backup saves copy of backup to internal sd card not your external 32 gig sd card.

Click to collapse
This is a common problem from kitkat to latest lollipop. And you can blame google for that, even when nobody knows why they enforce that policy so ridicuosly.
What comes to swapping, its not possible. If youre rooted you probably have tried link2sd or similar apps which make links to other places or if theyre not working, maybe other rom ?
Hi,
I am already using JB and moreover I have used link2sd and many similar apps they do work but the apps take a long time to load since they are on card and I also encounter some problems(apps that starup on boot doesn't work)
I have tried swapping internal and external through apps but they don't allow it in JB
If you can find int/ext memory swapper for JB that would be helpful
