[Q] Fresh Root = No Storage Space Anymore ?!?!? Help - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

So last night I rooted my Note 2 (t889), installed titanium pro (froze bloatware), installed rom manager and set CPU. All of a sudden my phone is telling me i have no storage space avaliable. It is saying all my internal storage is used up and even tho it says i have 10+gb available on my 32gb sd card, its also stating that the SD card is full as well.
Can someone provide some insight. I dont understand. The phone was rooted and bloatware frozen how can all my storage all of a sudden be eaten up.
Thanks,

Bump please help this is irratating. I cant do many things with 0 memory

Chances are you froze something you shouldnt have. Defrost them all and start over 1 at a time

Use some kind file manager and check where space is used on internal storage and internal sd card. I think by default titanium backup saves copy of backup to internal sd card not your external 32 gig sd card.

Defrost all the apps you you froze then reboot. And check again

Available Phone Storage...

Question. Maybe i just never payed attention to notice this, but last night i rooted my phone with 10minute method and sd card click-in. Then followed the same guys video to NAND. Installed CM6, first making a backup of my rom just rooted which is stored on the SD card. When i go to settings on my phone, then go to Storage information. I have 400mb left on my SD Card, which is only 2gb and a rom backup and such. Understandable. However, my actual PHONE storage says only 700mb. Why is there only 700mb available on a 8gb internal storage?? Seems kinda low. Anyway to free this up or do i need to worry about it?
The 700mb is phone storage for apps and stuff. The 8gb is internal storage which is just like another sd card but built in and actually it's about 6.8gb. I know that in CM5.08 the internal storage was not recognized so this may be a problem on CM6. You should look on one of the threads for that rom and see if that's the case.

EDIT: Disregard. different issue.
Neither cm 5.0.8 or cm6 show the internal flash as of yet. I have been using the skyraider froyo+sense Rom that recently came out and it has the memory available.

[Q] SD Card clean up

Ok, so i was looking at my storage usage today, and im a little curious. i am currently using 8.7gb of my SD Card. Only 13 apps are on my SD Card, I have 5 movies, only about 30 songs, about 100 photos, i do have 3 nandroid back up files, (i deleted 2 old ones) what the hell is sucking up all my storage?... lol If i go to my sd card via es file explorer or on my PC, i have a ton of folders but a lot of them are empty. Any ideas? Im tempted to wipe the card and put back only the things i want, but im not sure what on there is there as a dependency for something else.... lol
Like to know as well

Disk Usage will help you identify what's using up all your space
SD Maid will identify unused folders etc
Nandroid backups use up alot of space ; games have downloadable data which take up anywhere from 50mb-1.x GB...
Sandisk have a sd card management app ; try searching the market for it or try out one of the ones alread ysuggested ; Haven't tried them personally.
Thanks guys I'm gonna look into it, I forgot about game data I have 6 games, I'm willing to bet that's where its all at.
Edit - That SD Maid is a bad a** little program!!

I had root uninstaller and it had an option to auto backup everything I uninstalled. I accidentally stumbled over the backups and noticed they were 2.5 gb of apks...
If you use or used root uninstaller check sd/ root uninstaller/ autobackup.
Also check the sd card for game data leftovers.

Need help putting game SD data on Ext SD

I'm really not liking the fact that game data doesn't store to default in Ext SD. I have 3 games with SD data of around 3.3gb which take up precious storage while my Ext SD sits free.
When I move these data folders to the Ext SD,the games ask to download data. Currently I have uninstalled those games (e.g NFS most wanted 1.8gb) because I have my nandroid back up and titanium back occupying around 2gb.
I have tried using link2sd/partitioning my Ext SD with Ext2 format, but that only installs the actual apk to the Ext2 partition while the game data still sits on the Internal SD.
I also tried directory bind but that often causes android to freeze untill I pull out my battery.
So please if any body knows how to place SD data on Ext SD and games are able to trace the data there, please HELP!

Was gonna suggest directory bind but you already tried it.
It works fine for me, no crashes when re-linking NOVA3 to Ext-SD.
I'm on stock ATT ICS 4.0.4 rooted.
just swap the int,sd with ext.sd card.
if you are on GB or ICS then you can do that esaly. there is a thread about it.
for JB (4.1 or 4.2) still isnt working.
Can I get the threads link?

Just flash light Rom version 9. The aroma installer asks you if you want to swap the internal with the external. I did it and it works great!

That ROM had a few bugs that I hated. For instance it repeats notifications. So I restored my rooted stock ICS by Dman after about 5hrs.

Well I am using it and so far so good. I especially like that lightRom fixes the GPS as well.

Installed:
CWMR5x_i927_recovery.tar.md5
ICS 4.0.4 LiteRom 0.9.0
LiteKernel
I was able to switch both SD's via the link given by lorddavid. So now my Ext SD is seen as internal storage while internal is seen as Ext storage. Hurray

Correct me if i am wrong, but with all android phones, the internal storage is partitioned. 2 gigs are used for downloaded apps, another couple of gigs are used for the system and the rest of the remaining storage is used for the downloaded data within the apps.
Also try moving some of your apps to the SD card. It will help free up some storage in that 2gb partition.

Ou might be right for the partitions but ive never had this problem before. I think something messed up perhaps the partitions? I moved all my apps to the sd card the problem is still there. The bigger storage in the phone just iant being utilized or sonething like that.. I was on the embryo rom for good 4 -5 months had ****load of apps and never had an issue.. been running jedi rom for a few weeks and encoutered this problem. It just doesnt make sence.

I had this same issue on jmt v5, I have no idea what caused it or how to fix it I tried everything, it's like the Rom won't store anything anywhere but the system partition, it's very strange, I switched to embryo Rom by Mohan, all the great touchwiz stuff, very fast and stable, only difference is no Wi-Fi calling, but if u can handle that go flash embryo, best touchwiz Rom I've seen to date
