thank you for your answer @};-

Do you use a custom ROM, if yes which.
Would be nice if you give some details

If its getting hot, 9/10 its a faulty motherboard.

Question about the kernel v4.1 and v4.2 of HCDR.Jacob

Hello,
Why do some use the new v4.2 kernel and others have only problems with it?

now that is a tough question to answer...
I would say it's the same difference as between tomato and tomato?
Think it could be down to the radio versions. Some people that are reporting bugs could be using a different radio version to what the working ones use.
I believe it is due to the fast 4.2 is pre overclocked to the max and causes instability for some people so they have to flash 4.1 as it is not pre overclocked resulting in no bootloop for them
Ok, thanks.
But which version to use the radio on which it runs stable?
Sorry but i want understand ...
And sorry my english most time it is from google translate
If you want the latest radio look in the wildpuzzle thread they are in there and it is perfectly stable for use just flash the radio through recovery any kernel would be fine with the latest radio

lol mine doesnt boot loop, it dies.
in logcat it says
"audio flinger died"
and some 6 other "something died" and just quits.
Fair enough I haven't had experience with logcat so I don't really know just reporting from what others have said lol

Yeah but it freezes all the time, reboots, camera don't work and still slow. Don't get me wrong it CAN be used (and I was using it for ages)... but the cons outweigh the pros as of yet and I rather use a GB ROM, a lot faster and a lot more stable. I mean kudos to the devs they're doing a great job, but it's still early days IMO

when autorotation is disabled, no more reboots or freezes in my case. And the freshnew version I'm downloading ATM should solve rotation issues
Only camera *preview* doesn't work.

If you are using anything but stock hboot you may have issues as Lenny does modify the rom to primarily suit stock hboot. It will work on other hboots but some apks are missing.
Look at alpharev website and flash back to stock hboot. Do a full wipe and then reflash the rom. From their you should find miui-au pretty stable

I had a problem once changing hboot. I read a few times on different forums that one should always use the "downgrade" hboot prior to changing hboot. Since then i did so, and did not have any problem anymore.

I'm using sandvold's latest, with rotation problem 90% gone it's nearly perfect.

[Q] Is upgrading RADIO a must?

Hi,
Is it a must to be on the latest RADIO? Does it have any benefits?
I wouldn't change your radio unless your current one has problems. It doesn't change much and can be risky (though I don't know of anyone bricking with a radio as of yet).

Unless you are on the inspire, the new one seems to help with battery life..... Maybe. But if you aren't having issues, no need to do so.

It's a matter of opinion, some members will flash a radio some wont. Sometimes the benefits are small so it's all up to you if you want to try them out.
I have rooted DHD and I'm running jellytime R29. How can upgrade my radio?

Which ROM you have installed does not affect how you flash a radio. If you are S-OFF with AAHK (not HTCDEV) you flash them all the same way. Instructions are in the guide in the Ace Think Tank thread post #7, linked in my signature.
Thank you guys, you've been really helpful ^^

[Q] HTC Desire camera not working.

The camera was fine when i rooted and flashed CM7 on my htc desire in October, 2012. Later when I flashed Runnymede with sense, the camera stopped working. After that I tried several ROMS including the earlier CM7 but the camera failed to start. I even tried by installing other camera apps from the market but in vain. PLEASE HELP. Thanks in advance.
To make it further clear- I have formatted the total sd card and done factory reset before every rom installation.
Could it be hardware? There's a thread here somewhere about the ribbon cable becoming dislodged and how to fix

I have the exact same problem!
Everything was fine until I tried Runnymede AIO.
Now the camera doesn't work on leedroid or cm7 and I can't install miui without getting reboots.
Any suggestions?

Try this, follow my steps
1. Boot up into recovery mode
2. Wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache
3. Install ROM + GApps
4. Install the beginners patch in the local UltraBeam GB patch thread download all 3 or 2
You can easily get the update for V 1.0.7 from OTA
5. reboot system, now see the results?
Also try mini turbo boost, it increases UltraBeam GB way more faster :good:
@Stone. Cold
Could you please point me to a link where i can download your Ultrabeam GB Revolutionary V5 ROM?
Thanks

Go to Wildfire Development and get the UltraBeam GB Revoltuionary
Here you go mate
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2410977
just follow all instructions if you're not and MTD user
and if you're an MTD user then use the MTD instructions
It's best to stick with not being an MTD unless you know what you'e doing
Thanks for your reply, but isn't it the 1.1 version of your ROM? How can i get the latest? ( it's v7 if I'm not wrong)
