Because Im askin for little help and step by step guide from people who mastered that, from this forum.

Oh, OK then. Your phone doesn't have an unlockable bootloader because it's SIM locked to a network provider.
You can unlock it unofficially for a few bucks.

You CAN unlock it -- just not for free.
SIM/network lock:
[Dialer] > *#*#SERVICE#*#* > Service Info > SIM lock
- Network
- SIM
0 = unlocked, 1 or otherwise = locked.
Paid bootloader unlocking also SIM/network unlocks, as shown in the video above.

In case if your phone is NOT sim-locked,try this :
check your IMEI number,if it starts with 0 (zero) then you MUST enter 0 while typing your IMEI number at SE site while getting your unlock code.
EX: IMEI no. is 012342565325431 then you must start from 01234256532543 and ignore the last digit. Then, you will get a code which when entered, will unlock your bootloader.

I have the phone ARC S LT18i and my phone says in the Service Mode:
"Bootloader unlock allowed: no"
Is there anywhere a tutorial how I can get a unlocked bootloader, or it is not possible to unlock?
//Edit:
The solution is in that thread:

mmmh ... seems i can not reinstall original software from SE Update Service anymore after bootloader unlock ... it tells me 'the telephone contains modified software that can not be upgraded' ...
the only option u hav after u unlocked the bootloader is to update through fastboot..
or FlashTool .
question: if i just unlock the bootloader i can't use SEUS ????
thanks

Precisely.
I think I saw a UK SE facebook guy replied that updating the firmware is only supported for unmodified software even if you have unlocked the phone...
the thing that I'm not sure about is if you modified the software, then used FlashTool to flash the original stock software... will this be enough to use SEUS ? or using SEUS is not supported at all after unlocking ?
I'm wondering this as this is my only concern... I don't care about DRM, but I do care about using SEUS to update rather than manually waiting for the updated stock image and flash it using FlashTool
Well, whoever that guy is, he was wrong.
After unlocking my bootloader but before rooting or anything else, I tried connecting my handset to SEUS but got an error message.
once u unlocked the bootloader, u cant update the firmware through pc companion or seus, period..
Maybe they don't know, or maybe SE needs to update SEUS

Motorola's facebook account claimed there were going to try and develop a bootloader unlocking system for developer customers, that never happened.
The people manning these accounts are peons, or possibly not even direct SE employees, they may work for some sort of PR agency or similar.
So I for one am not at all surprised they don't know what they're talking about.
They do work for a PR agency.. however.. they provide technical advice.. and my question was a direct one, to which they gave a direct answer.. and if I can't upgrade using SEUS then I'll be getting them to fix, either SEUS, or my phone!
Try doing "fastboot oem lock", that should work.
Or the same command as with the unlocking, that means including your key, but replacing "unlock" with "lock".
EDIT:
It seems they those two don't work. I'll try a little more later today.

It takes more time than I thought, it's much more complicated than I expected. Anyway, I asked a friend of my at SE about it, he'll ask about this on his work
Why nobody know to relock bootloader yet?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13976687&postcount=39
Guess that's a more accurate answer than on FB. ;-)
Why are you so worried about SEUS? FlashTool does the same thing as SEUS...
BTW, bootloader lock state and fastboot flag are in TA Misc. I still have to find out where exactly...
Yes i can use flashtool but the original firmware when they come out, I can install them immediatly and also for the discussion of the warranty

Only sim unlocked phones can use the sony bootloader unlock service, you will have to pay one of the people here for a remote unlock if you want sim/bootloader unlocked.
Thank you.
Just a nother quick question...
since i have a 4G AT&T xperia play i can acctually unloack the bootloader and by re-flashing the ROM actually preform a SIM unlocking like it discribed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034371
????
will this work on my AT&T 4G device ?

1. i need to first unlock my sim

[astralmaze05]: ok i understand, if i sim unlock it using the online unlocking services will it also unlock my bootloader automatically?

Here you see that it was said that unlocking the SIM doesn't mean that you can unlock the bootload...
any response ?
I insist: unlocking your sim won't unlock your bootloader, you will have to unlock it separately.
However, unlocking the bootloader automatically sim-unlocks the phone.
Thus, save yourself the grief, contact any of the unlockers mentioned in the thread of my signature, and just unlock the bootloader.
I will since i'm seeing it getting more complex then i wanted.
but still i want just to understand if unlocking your sim won't unlock the bootloader but, after the sim is unloacked then i could use the bootload unloacker online from sony, no?
No, you can't. The official Sony bootloader unlocking method is only valid for phones which were sold originally Sim-unlocked. Sim-unlocking an originally Sim locked phone will not make you eligible for the Sony bootloader unlocking method, so you would have to use Alejandrissimo's bootloader unlock method anyway.
Thank you ! now i got it!
i hope this thread will be a good use for others as well.

First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your phone by checking the service menu. In your phone, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.
In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

Hi it's been a while since i've had my arc. But when flashing any kernel you must flash it as boot.img through fastboot. As a safety measure i always have a stock rom downloaded in case of any errors so you should download a matching Tft rom to yours. Have a look at some roms you want to try and see what kernel will suit you best as they are all different. Hope this helps.
Please help

[Q] How to root sony arc 2.3.4 0.62

I do gooling and find many ways to root but it do not work for my case.
I found that there're two best ways:
- Do flash back to 2.3.4 .042 and do rooted , then update via wifi to 2.3.4. .062. I have unlock bootloader then i think that i can not try this way.
- Other way, Go to fastboot mode and then enter recovery section, try to update rootPhone.zip . But when i enter fastboot command it say that you have to rooted your phone first!!!
What should i do now ? I don't want to go for ICS because of battery's time.
Anyone can have suggestion for me.
Thanks,

Fastboot doesn't require rooted phone. You need unlocked bootloader and correct drivers.
You can also relock bootloader and then make OTA update.

But, the thing is, my arc can not re-lock bootloader :-S because of the method to unlock
Then flash back to .42 and try again.
