Im getting some weird battery stuff, as well as the Android OS drain. If I restart my phone, once in a while It drops like 20-30%. i'll go from 46% to like 18%. I see the threads about slow draining, but mine seems to happen instantly sometimes (3 different times so far in a week), anyone have solutions? Got it from someone on ebay, can I still/should I RMA?
Someone posted a kernel fix in the international GSII forum, so we're either waiting for that to get ported over here or wait for samsung to release a fix. I have that same bug too. What percent r u getting on the Android OS? Mine is usually in the 60's.
Yeah I saw that thread, and I saw the 2 things causing it. Waiting for that fix I guess, hopefully it solves the big battery drops as well as the small draining. Mines pretty high, 30-50% I believe, and then cell reception takes 10-20% with LOS
That's alot better than mine. Although, I don't have that LOS problem. I'm running stock atm. Are u on a custom rom?
Running Starburst 1.5, stock was better for no LOS. But I like the customization on Starburst. Hopefully by the end of this week the kernel we be ported over.
Most likely a problem with the battery level algo and not an actual battery charge drop. It's probably showing the correct value after the reboot.
Using battery spy I was using like 12%-15% per hour, not even doing anything. Saw online that formating the SD card might help, just did, and now im using .8% per hour. The hell, something was scanning the SD card or something. Much better now, hopefully itll last 10-20 hours instead of 6 hours.
edit: so it went back up again. At .8% it will last 2 days+, but since the events keep taking the CPU, its draining it. I got it down to 4-8% by taking the SD card out. At least it will last a little longer. Cant wait for the fix, this baby will last days after.
Damn that sucks. I just formatted my card too cuz I was running out of options. Keep us updated tho.
so I think media scanner is draining, I downloaded rescan media root from android market and before I was draining at 12% per hour, but when I disable it with the app, it goes down to 5-6%. Anyone else try? Maybe thats something thats draining.
Oh btw have u tried turning off wifi? It only drained 6% after being off the charger for 9 hours. I havent touched the phone during that time span tho. Android os still in the 50s btw.

These are my overnight stats when I was sleeping. It's usually worse when wifi is on.

this is almost definitely correct. battery doesn't drop 15-20% because of reboot...the reading is wrong. Battery drivers have been bad on a few of the latest android phones. Just look at when your phone stays at 99% for the first 3 hrs of use each day...what, does it just get really inefficient in the afternoon because of food coma from lunch?

Trying now, seems to be charging faster too. I was mainly on wifi because cell standby was really high, keep getting LOS. But maybe I wont with wifi off now, and i'll see how battery does. ill keep you updated.
Still bad. Can only wait for the patches/fixes. 8 hours doing nothing almost. Sigh.
edit: sent to the galaxy support on twitter, see how that goes.

Hey man, I got one more tweak for u to try. I just rooted my phone w/ the latest zenomax kernel and Starburst 1.5. Download setcpu and create a profile for "screen off". Set it to 200-500mhz on demand. In theory, this should prevent 100% cpu utilization while the screen is off. I'm testing this myself atm, so I can't give u my battery stats yet.

Think I have the v3 version and 1.5 as well. I have setcpu set to 200-400 powersave. ive tried others and same. Suspend and events/0 keeping eating at the CPU. Thanks for the suggestions though.
figured i'd chime in here. i've had days where the battery was fine and days where the battery was absolute trash. it's happened on stock, and it's happened on root. but it almost always seems to coincide with LOS. the first picture is one of several instances where i've had pretty fast drain followed up by an instant dump in charge under normal use. it's strange how after the drop, it slowly works back up then levels off and drains normally. the 2nd pic is from today. i left my phone at home on accident when i went off to work, and when i returned, i had LOS and this battery stat. you can tell where i lost signal . the last pic is from yesterday while i had the phone at work all day and light use; a nice consistent drain.
FU battery drops and FML
Ok so i read all the posts in this thread and i understand theres a issue that effects the phone from even knowing what the battery % is. i had to post these though. i was at 47% then rebooted my phone. phone boots up and yehhh! woop woop 8% now mind you if you look at the graph it shows a nice constant cerve downward but steady because i was using my phone the entire time. now after the restart/batery drop of 40% i kept using the phone constantly but its funny how it took me over a hour of screen on to go from 8% to 5% !!!!! i bet to get from 5% to 1% it will take 2 more hours for sure. you can see the graph start to flatten out like its a super battery after the 40% drop because it didnt really drop to 8% !!! normally i wouldnt care since my phone battery last just as long, it just goes down really slow from 8%-1% but at 5% it auto dims screen and wont let me use my camera for the next 2-3 hours while i knock off the remaining "4%" of battery left. fml
Get Starburst v1.6. He removed DRM processes which should lower Android OS usage and thus battery draining. Plus with the LoStKernel, I haven't had any issues with losing signal since.
Also, use Titanium backup to remove running services that you don't need. I got rid of the stock email client, digital clock, media/social hub if you don't use those. They don't take up a lot of ram, but every little bit helps.
My battery life has improved after battery calibration. I suggest you calibrate if you didn't already so your battery usage graph may be more accurate. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the tips! I was wondering how you would calibrate the battery. Is it the same as wiping battery stats from CWM?
I feel like I make a thread for each phone I go through. First Blackberries, then Droid X, now Galaxy Nexus.
I am getting pretty horrible battery drain that is definitely worse than others' Nexuses. I have gone to the extended battery now for a few days, yet in the morning, when I unplug from charger (says 98% but charged?), with brightness only a quarter of the way up from lowest, I can literally watch the percentage (battery number mod in corner) drop one-by-one each minute or a few...So if I am actually using the phone, you can imagine it drops pretty fast. Yesterday, with very very moderate use the phone was still dead within 5-6 hours. It was at the mid-80s within an hour or more. Again, with moderate use.
It is stomach-dropping watching the percentage number just go down and down. Yet my friend's Gnex using the extended battery his first day did not hit 85% yesterday until 5+ hours later. The battery stats page on mine shows nothing with high numbers except Screen and Android OS, so I assume no apps are draining it. I am rooted with unlocked BL, on bigxie's deodexed ROM with softkeys mod, battery percentage mod, and power menu mod. I have 100-something apps and many widgets but no battery draining/updating ones. Others with the same ROM report fine battery.
I believe after using the ext. battery for a couple days, it should be "conditioned" if needed at all, yet I see no improvement.
I'm getting very angry watching this drop.. For example, 40 minutes off the charger with almost NO use except for turning the screen on here and there, I am at 94% battery with Screen at 46%, Android OS at 34%, Phone Idle 11%, Cell Standby 9%, and Android System 2%.
And then 1 hr 20 min in, at 88% battery with 55% Screen, 27% Android OS, 6% Phone Idle, 6% Cell Standby.
This doesn't sound normal right? Keep in mind, those numbers are with almost no phone use..very minimal settings menus visited and one update from Market.
Jesus, literally almost every time or two I turn the screen on just to check these numbers, I see the damn battery percentage drop a number. Not even using the phone how/as much as I normally would be. This is infuriating. Luckily, it doesn't seem to drain much with the screen off.
Quit checking and wait til the bug is fixed and blood pressure stabilizes?
Crazy world, ay?
Update to 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 with an improved kernel = success.
Use the phone for 1-2 weeks to stablize battery life - mine is better now than it was when I began using it. But the kernel/rom makes a big difference.
Thanks. Any suggestions on with combo to use now? 4.0.3 preferrably I guess.
Then why does my friend on totally stock 4.0.2, non-rooted have that great battery life from the first day using the extended battery?? I'm pretty much basing mine off of his and other's who are getting ridiculously long life. I never understood how it varies SO much. We should all have the same relative to usage.

No. Because no two phones are set up the same. Too many variables to say relatively same usage. For instance, when i go to bed i get 2-3 hours standby per percentage point. Not everybody is going to get that.

Maybe, but the fact that I have no other visible outstanding draining factors, and I get no 4G at home and therefore have it set to CDMA only...I should not be seeing 1% drops almost every time I turn the screen on for more than 30 seconds. Especially with an extended battery.
God forbid I want to use GPS or 4G.

Wow, really? At first glance in all sub-forums I saw about two, if that. I have a legitimate concern, especially when my friend is getting about 4 times better life. Thanks for your help though in the device forum where this 'doesn't belong'.
..And over the course of only a few minutes of the screen being on maybe twice and sending one email, I saw it go from low 82-83 down to 77. ****ing awesome.

You probably have a misbehaving app. Download better battery stats from the android apps and games section here at xda and let it run for a day or so and see what processes are being used the most and what your wakelocks are, etc.
Also, find a 4.0.3 rom with a kernel that can be undervolted and try that out.

Thank you, downloading now and will check it out.
I'll admit I'm using the GSM version so my experiences may not apply but for the first few days my battery life was utter crap.
Its been MUCH improved over the last few days, I dont have the wakelock issue and with the screen off the battery drain is literally only about 3% per hour, and thats with background data on.
YES, the screen DOES use a lot of battery, it isnt really avoidable and is somewhat expected with a 720p 4.6 inch super AMOLED screen.
The one thing I can recommend doing is finding a modded kernel and undervolting that CPU - It seems they've been really rather generous providing power to the thing, I've been able to take off at least 100-150mv across the board.

This - My battery on the stock battery on GSM sucked first few days, and I was really concerned I made a poor purchase. But with the screen on probably 5 or 6 hours of my work day it lives through the day and just enough to get home after that. I can charge it at work too, which I usually do. On my day off it survived 18 hours and still had ~20% battery life left on 4.0.3 AOKP/Francisco.Franco Kernel
From my experience, the battery life isn't bad. I did install the "extended" battery as soon as I bought the phone but is isn't much bigger than the stock battery. I am on stock rooted 4.02. With LTE off I use about 2% per hour in standby. With LTE on it is almost double that (3-4%/hour). I have several widgets running and gps enabled. (wifi when available) I can easily get a 16-18 hour day and have 50% remaining when I go to bed unles I sit around gaming for a couple hours.
I may try a new ROM tonight but I expect it will probably make things worse.
Im running a bone stock setup and im getting 12 -14 hours a day... normally I read posts like the one skiddingus posted and wonder why I never can achieve those readings so i feel your confusion . I do have 4g on and gps off screen is about 1/4 of the way up brightness wise
Hey all,
I recently put Blu Kuban on my phone and I'm loving the look and feel, but I'm having REALLY bad battery life. I couldn't get through the day with only a little use. I download the battery calibration app and tried that. Its also been about 4 days since I flashed the new ROM. Anymore suggestions? I bought an extended battery at 3800 mAh and I'm getting less than a day with the new ROM. Before the update I was getting at least a day and a half with MUCH more usage.
So long story short, BAD battery life. Any suggestions? If I cant get this figured out, I'm going to have to go back to stock.
Thanks in advance.

Hi. I've noticed you posted two separate threads relating to RUJELUS' Blu Kuban ROM. I would suggest you ask in his thread if you haven't already due to the fact that he may offer more assistance.
However, there are many different battery solutions. The problem is, if you were previously running Stock Gingerbread, you must get used to the fact that until Kernel source drops, battery life will not be as good on ICS as it is on GB.
To address your ICS battery problems, I suggest you turn here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668853
Also, if possible, it would be nice to see your battery stats. Take screenshots and post them up here.
I would definitely post in the thread if xda would let me. I tried because I had that thought originally and because I don't have 10 posts yet it wouldn't let me post in the thread. I will post battery pictures tomorrow but its pretty much saying like 36% android OS, 20% display at one hour of use.
Thanks for the help so far guys. I checked out the first link and changed a few things. Hopefully it helps.
Still rocking Gingerbread ;p
How old is your battery?
How old is your phone?
How much do you have running in the background?
Do you keep WiFi on at all times (so that it might be searching for signals constantly)?
Use the apps listed above to try and get an idea of what could be causing the drain.
Hopefully it will improve so you can fully enjoy the ROM.

My phone was purchased in October. My battery is about 2 weeks old. I don't believe i have anything but gmail sync in the background. However, I'm not used to all apps I used staying open after I use them so I've been kinda bad about closing them. Is there something I can change so this goes back to closing most things after I press the back button. I do not keep WiFi on.
My extended battery got about 18 hours and was at 15%. I slept for 11 hours last night with nothing on. I used facebook for 15 minutes, just responding to a post and scrolling through messages and battery dropped at least 10% if not more. Granted, I was trying to download the update but doing that for 10 minutes dropped my battery over 20%. I'm very concerned.

I essentially didn't use my phone for half the day. I can't expect with a battery double the size to get 12 hours of light use?
are you on the latest build? Im on 1.0.4.1 and my battery is pretty solid, Id say give it a few days. are trying different modems?
I experienced the exact same thing on that rom. It is definitely one of my favorite roms but I would get half the life that I would on the others I tried.
Were you having issues with battery at all before you flashed the Blu Kuban?
I'm running Blazer ICS now and getting almost as good of battery life as I had on Gingerbread.
So here is my screenshot. In next post ill type how long each process was running.

So 3 hours and 46 minutes. Less than 50%.
Android OS CPU total: 20m 36s.
Stay Awake: 1 hr 8m 34s
Screen: 34 minutes 17 seconds (last 10 minutes or so has been trying to get this post up)
Facebook: CPU Total: 10m 25s
Stay Awake: 2m 34s
GPS: 3 seconds (turned off immediately after realizing it did that)
Android System: 7m 10 s. CPU foreground: 8 seconds. Stay Awake: 4m 27s
Cell Standby: Time without signal 4%
I figure thats enough but if not let me know. I just updated to the new version so I guess I'll have to give it another few days, however this was typical of the last version. Please help, I really like Blu Kuban.

1. You're addicted to Facebook lol
2. Your signal seems very low...could be your phone is running up its battery trying to get signal
3. What are your wifi settings? Use one band only and leave sleep mode "always"
4. What is the brightness on your screen? Set it lower and unselect auto adjust
5. Sync can kill your battery, either remove some things from sync (like Facebook) or remove them all and only sync manually

Wow, that is incredible!
You slept 11 hours? I have not gotten that much sleep in years!
In all seriousness, I have recently gone back to Blu Kuban and the battery life will get better after at least two full charge cycles. I am currently at 9 hours and 75% remaining. I am in a low signal area and keep data off and use wifif when available. I do use Juice Defender to automatically turn wifi off when the screen is off, so when I am not using my phone, I can still receive calls and SMS.
My battery life on Blu Kuban is really good... been getting like 25-30 hours for the past couple of days. One thing that you can do to maximize battery life is turn off haptic feedback and also turn off pulse notifications. Pulse keeps your phone from entering Deep Sleep and haptic feedback also uses a lot of unnecessary battery.
I found out what my problem was. My extended battery has gone to ****. I took my extended battery out yesterday and put in my standard battery and it is running better than the extended battery. What is crazy is that I replaced my stock battery because it was running poorly and not getting good life. Therefore my 3600mAh battery is running worse than a BAD 1800mAh battery.
Tips though to improve battery life that I found:
Download CPU Spy
Download GSam Battery Monitor (Previously known as Badass Battery Monitor)
- Use this to see what is using your battery up.
Turn off any data syncing you don't need
Turn down screen brightness to an acceptable level
Make sure you close the facebook app because its a crazy battery drain
Give your battery a few days on a new rom to even out
This is what I can think of right now.
Good Luck all!
Well, once upon (a greater) time for my phone, the battery life was phenomenal. I would take it off the charger at 6AM, and with moderate use, still be at about 50% when I got home at around 8PM. Now, I can't even have the phone off of the charger for a few hours, because "Android OS" eats my battery. I went from 100-60 in like 3 hours off of the charger with the screen OFF.
I've had various CM9 and CM10 installs, and it seems like they're what started the bad battery life. I used Mobile ODIN to flash back to EL29, and flashed the EL29 modem .zip in CWM, and the battery life is STILL ****ty. What do you think it could be?

Kernel issues....

It's not an app, so don't bother telling him to look for an app running in the background. And it's not a bad battery or modem. I ran Gingerbread for quite some time before going to ICS and Android OS should be one of the smallest consumers on that battery usage list. It only happens with ICS and JB, most likely a kernel thing. It happened to me quiiiiite a bit, in fact in the few months I've been running ICS/JB Android OS has always been on the top of the list despite my phone saying it's in deep sleep. Not sure what the deal is with it to be honest, but I don't think there's a way to fix it.
I'm on aokp and my android os is at 6% never goes over 14%. Use lightflow disable all led notifications in direct/accessibility mode and reboot let it go through a full charge cycle, wipe battery stats, profit

How do you know? Do you have his phone? No, you don't. I'm on ff18 and I get 14 to 18 hours daily with 4-5 hours screen on time.
Granted I use the Kuban kernel, but it is possible to reduce Android OS usage quite easily.
he could also have a badbattery. If it is swollen that almost always indicates a bad battery.

Swollen battery is ALWAYS a bad battery. They swell when a cell begins to or has ruptured inside the housing and can do some serious damage if the housing bursts. At temps above 130 with a swollen battery the chance of a full housing breach goes up 70% at 160 its almost guaranteed to breach and at 180-190 it will burst causing somewhat of an explosion. Exposed batteries not sandwhiched inside a device actually produce a pretty large fireball when the burst at those temps and the housing does enough damage it could be fatal. I've burst quite a few using a hotplate and sitting the battery on it inside an acrylic aquarium and letting it heat til failure. If your battery is swollen stop use immediately and get it replaced. Dude download Better Battery Stats and see what's really eating up your battery.
I'm running on Phantom's ICS and I been tweaking it so much, that I want to get the best Android experience EVER!
Also try v6 Supercharger, that also helps with battery life.
try freezing some of apps that you may not use, or better yet follow this guide:

try editing your build.prop and turn off sync

I have found turning off all GPS options helps immensely. Maps is always waking the phone every 5 minutes.

I am so incredibly happy! I haven't had time to go through all the info in the links you posted, but instead took the cheap and easy way out and simply froze Google Maps using Titanium Backup. My battery life was awesome today!!!! It could still use improvement, but I finally feel like I'm making significant progress. Yes, I'll go through the posts you linked more thoroughly when I have time and I'll work on disabling maps in startup, but for now, I can feel confident that my battery will last all day. Whew!
Leave ICS and get back on GB.
Ive had this phone since the day it came out. Switched to ICS once the developers started dropping ICS leaks, etc.
For the past 2 weeks for some reason, Ive had nothing but HORRIBLE and i mean HORRIBLE battery life. Phone would not last me more than 4-5 hours of heavy use. I'd have to carry around my portable battery pack to charge the phone on the go. I did everything to my knowledge to try and conserve battery life. CPU tweaks, battery monitoring, tried different ROMs, Kernels, Modems, etc, etc. Nothing would significantly improve battery life. I even went ahead and ordered a new battery last week to remedy this problem (which has not yet been delivered/used)
2 Days ago I flashed back to Blazer 4.0 ROM (GB).
I unplugged my phone yesterday morning at exactly 7:30am. Did not step back into my house until 530 which at that point I was at 35% and had been using my phone all day as I normally would. Web browsing, tons of texts, Used Navigation for about 2 hours, etc. I did not plug my phone to the charger until 10pm. Phone was on 19% then. Mind you, this is on the first day of the Phone being on a new ROM/GB so the battery has not yet settled/calibrated as Its only been charged Once since flashing over.
I refuse to switch back to ICS for the sole reason that battery levels have obviously improved with something as simple as switching back to GB.
Just a heads up for anyone with ICS on their E4GT having issues with battery life.
If only I got a dollar for all the times a thread like this is made.. I'd be rich. Blah blah ICS sucks yes we know... So far my phone must be a super phone because it's handling ICS well.

I agree with you, Ray. I'd also be rich for every time I've read of E4GT owners who's phones are running ICS with no problems. But then theres the bunch who also complain that they have problems. I never stated ICS sucks. At this point these phones are old by today's standards. Be glad you're one of the ones who's running ICS with no issues. I for one will stay on GB until I switch to a new carrier/new hardware sometime soon.
Just thought I'd give some feedback of my experience with battery issues on ICS in comparison to then switching back to GB.
I don't know if you've tried Blazers ICS ROM, but that thing has some AMAZING battery life. I've been running it for a few weeks now, everyday I get at least 12 hours of moderate to heavy use, without my own tweaks, and by the time I connect to charger I'm at 35%
Arguments apart
i have a few friends all on this or that ICS and none of them is happy with the backup
whatever its a fact ICS goodness never really reached E4GT, lets hope FI03 onwards some sense prevails at those losers at sammy and they push something which we can smile about.
FYI i am also on ICS Rom , still in testing phase after getting my new white beast 10 days back , already tried like 3 , each for three days
running galaxy 1.8 since yday and hoping it shapes well otherwise i ll also move back to GB
I've tried multiple ICS rooms and I've always gotten great battery life (14+ hours with 3+ hours screen on time).
The only times I've ever had battery life issues were when a certain app was the culprit and was keeping my phone from deep sleep or causing frequent wakes, which is almost always the case with poor battery life issues.
Check out an app called GSAM Battery.. it will tell you what is using up your battery in easy to read graphs and percentages. Also, check out CPU Spy to see if your phone is actually going to deep sleep mode when you turn your screen off--again, it shows you in an easy to read chart with times in each state.

Cm9b1 is the only rom that even came remotely close to gb battery life. Only thing wrong it for me was I couldn't get GPS working

I got over 30 hours last weekend with light use, but the next day, my battery would drain 5 to 10 percent per hour with no use. I have all the utilities to track what's happening, but cannot find a definitive cause. Poor reception seems to be a factor, but not the whole story.
EDIT: I just installed GSam. Thanks for the tip!
Try the Re-Calked FI03 and tell me ICS sucks....this things is as good if not better than Calkulins v3 GB rom....the ONLY other rom i have ever liked.... :good:

Maybe you should've posted this after receiving and using your new battery. My phone had horrible battery life after a while on ICS but it turned out that it was in fact the battery and not ICS. Got a new battery and it is back to 18 hours a day (on ICS)

Only the stock ICS rom is garbage with poor battery life and stupid stuff like grey text on black back ground. I have ran several custom ROMs and they all provided better battery life. As I have said before, I got 99 problems but battery life ain't one of them. You must be doing it wrong.

Still waiting for the new battery to arrive. I would love to try it but I'm in the midst of a heavy usage of Verizon PRL on my phone. Sprint doesn't like heavy roaming users from what I've been reading. Sprint 3G in my neighborhood here in NYC sucks Donkey nuts. I can cross the street and get 3 bars more than I have sitting on my front porch. But thats a whole other topic of discussion.
Im not sure why my phone couldnt play well with ICS but it really was horrible. I consider myself a heavy user and ICS couldnt keep up with battery demands. I tried undervolting, etc. Oh well. Been eyeing the SGS3 or the upcoming SGNote 2. Time will tell.
So far 3 days on Blazer 4.0. All my apps are restored via TB and no issues with battery like I had on ICS. Don't really know what else to say. :good:

I'm getting 24+ hours on standby time. I have gotten about 18 hours with about 3 hours of screen time. Facebook and GBA emus. I wasn't able to do this since GB. I have done this by doing one simple thing. Turning off data. I kid you not. Utilize that data toggle. I know at first you're thinking no I need data. But you don't. Unless you're some business person, then this excludes you. Wanna check Facebook?
Also, wii benefit from something else. 4G WiMax. You can turn that on even though your data is off. You still get decent battery life since 4GWiMx knows how to sleep. Also, if you're driving around, it'll pick up 4G eventually (unless you don't have it) and it'll download what it needs to download. So by time it turns loses signal, you'll have your emails. I tried this and I still got good battery life.
Using Battery Monitor Widget, I was able to see that my phone wasn't "sleeping". That's what the main problem was. That's why I wasn't able to find any rogue apps using Better Battery Stats. But I did see my phone stayed awake. Like once my phone died in 5 hours. 10 minutes screen time. 6 minutes of deep sleep. Really? That means my phone was awake for over 4 hours!? Doing what!? No app was at fault.
Extra stuff. No need to read if you felt you read enough
An app you all should check out...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...av_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNjYzcxLmJtdyJd
Battery Monitor Widget (It's not just a widget. LoL!!)
It tells you how many #mA your phone is using. So if it shows 500mA. That means your phone is using 500mA per hour. Your phone has an 1800mA battery. So that means if your phone used a constant 500mA, it would die in 3.5 hours. This is a good way to see just how much power your apps are using, or if after 10 minutes your phone is actually sleeping. My phone actually started using 2mA. I haven't seen that since GB. I thought my phone would never sleep like that again. I cried.
P.S. If you get the app, in settings -> Calibration, change the battery amount from 1500mA to 1800mA. Apparently the app thinks our battery is 1500mA. Or maybe my battery REALLY IS 1500mA. I mean, it got my Nexus 7 battery correct. I didn't have to change it. I've always wondered why BMW said I had a 1500mA battery instead of 1800mA. I may have to look into. Wii all should probably look into that.
Also, those on Blazer ICS ROM. Using BMW, I was able to see something quite interesting. My phone would use a lot of energy. Like 1000mA just to send some text messages, or scroll through my app drawer. BUT, after I stopped using my phone for about 10 minutes, I'd turn it back on and BMW would show my phone gaining #mA, or charging. This means something is causing the phone to "drain", or show drainage, when there really isn't. The fact that the phone charges back means it never really used that much energy in the 1st place. But that only happens on this ROM. Since I figured out the data thing, I'm going to try CM9 again.
