is "full device encryption" implemented/availiable in ICS CM9 for Defy/Defy+ ??
regards /slstr
The option is there, but i don't know if it is already working...
on latest build by Quarx: 02 Mar 2012 isn't working and the phone won't boot, it's stuck at Moto red logo
thanks for info, did you also post a bugperport in ICS/cm9 bugreport thread stating your full hardware and SBF/firmware combination etc?

hm, it seems that it has absolutly no effect...

...after 1,5 hours...
Last time I tried (Quarx Mar 5 build I believe) it did nothing. Wouldn't even start encrypting, just displayed an Android logo and sat there.
Is full encryption working yet?

Hey i managed to compile a build of AOKP from source for the HD2 but i am unable to test because i no longer have the device(Your lucky I love you guys). So if you guys could try it out that would be cool and tell me if it boots or doesn't or what works and if i doesn't boot try flashing the dorminax ics kernel. Download Here
Its for clk but you can easily convert by flashing the dorminax kernel for mag on top
EDIT: heres a second build in case the first one didn't work Build 2 only use if first one doesnt work

Also you do realize there is this ROM already right?

Well for starters it look like that is not stock AOKP its customized and it also looks like it ported and not built from source this is a stock compiled directly from source AOKP build

I did do it that way initally but it just got stuck at the HTC hboot splash and wouldn't go any further, I then tried to restore from my backup and had the same issue, I went into fastboot and flashed the kernel from my backup and the restored again and now it boots into the original rooted stock rom. I thought tomorrow I would try flashing the kernel first then the rom and see if that makes a difference.
Anyone else having issues with flashing this rom?

Discussion for CM12.1 is getting mixed up in the CM12 thread, and that is going to get confusing real quick... so I made this thread for discussing CM12.1, (currently Lollipop 5.1.1)

Wild Kernel:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt...rnel-wildkernel-build-1-featurlicous-t3069629
So far the only letdown from switching to CM12.1/5.1 is that there's no Xposed support (yet). Which means that flickering bug is a nuisance, because the "Disable HW Overlays" option doesn't stick on boot.
I have been testing making a change in build.prop to persistently disable HW overlays and it appears to be working so far... no flickers yet (fingers crossed):
Download Build Prop Editor and use it to change "persist.hwc.mdpcomp.enable=true" to "false".
Anybody try flashing a custom kernel from 12 on 12.1? Does it break?
Screen casting to Chromecast using the Chromecast app now works. I could never get that working on CM11 or 12. It's laggy, but it works

well there is a different wild kernel build2 reloaded, different from the first one that I downloaded, it works great. fast charge, under/over volt and overclock up to 2.1ghz are featured. It's awesome, I'm experiencing random reboots but I think it's a ROM related issue. other than that it's solid
I've had no random reboots on the stock kernel.

Flashing CM shouldn't modify your modem. I was running Madmack's (BM9615A) on CM12; did a full wipe and installed CM12.1 and I'm still on BM9615A.

Does anyone know why there's no option to use soft keys instead of capacitive keys on cm12.1? Is it going to be added in the future or is it that there's no way to do so for the ogp?
As for the status bar there's no option to customise it.. The only option there is, is to change users.

Add this line to your build.prop qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 then reboot.
To customize quick settings tiles it's under settings>notification drawer.
Hi all, just discovered that with the latest update that contains the November 5th security patch by google, and so for my build it's from BLN-L21C432B369, but i don't know if this will happens on EVERY build that contains the November security patch, there are new features like app twin feature, and suggestions from settings screen, brand new stuff that came with the update other than the patch. Screens here below shows in the 1st there are some suggestions, or reminders, about mobile data deactivated, for example. The 2nd obviously shows how app twin feature is present in settings menu ("app gemella" translated from Italian to English stands just for app twin).
Comment and notify here if you guys will find other new features from latest/future updates, in way to keep us updated each other about new stuff and utilities on our OS
Not in my B369 ?, while the device number is the same.
Wait, sadly i have to correct myself; just noticed that as i fixed the incorrect model number shown in settings (i got generic_a15 other than BLN-L21 after an update ended bad) the features have disappeared. I suppose that those features are already present in another variant, but not in ours actually. Why they make things like this and NFC present only in some variants, damn Huawei.
