Still on boot animation, also the notification LED is blinking orange, is it supposed to do that?

I did do it that way initally but it just got stuck at the HTC hboot splash and wouldn't go any further, I then tried to restore from my backup and had the same issue, I went into fastboot and flashed the kernel from my backup and the restored again and now it boots into the original rooted stock rom. I thought tomorrow I would try flashing the kernel first then the rom and see if that makes a difference.
Anyone else having issues with flashing this rom?

Hey i managed to compile a build of AOKP from source for the HD2 but i am unable to test because i no longer have the device(Your lucky I love you guys). So if you guys could try it out that would be cool and tell me if it boots or doesn't or what works and if i doesn't boot try flashing the dorminax ics kernel. Download Here
Its for clk but you can easily convert by flashing the dorminax kernel for mag on top
EDIT: heres a second build in case the first one didn't work Build 2 only use if first one doesnt work

There is a known bug in ClockworkMod 5.5.0.4 that long file names can POSSIBLY cause backups to hang. There is a solution/workaround:
boot into recovery
try to make a backup (no matter if it passes or fails proceed to next step)
either through terminal emulator or through adb run the following command EXACTLY:
Code:
touch /sdcard/clockworkmod/.hidenandroidprogress
if you are backing up to external sdcard then run the following:
Code:
touch /sdcard/external_sd/clockworkmod/.hidenandroidprogress

This CWM Touch is also working here, but I confuse with the menu like "backup in internet memory" but it pointing to your external_sd card

Hello, I am running stock lollipop and am rooted. Does anyone know how I can disable the high volume warning? There is a flashable mod posted, but it was for KK. I know Wanam for Xposed is not an option. Any other option(s)?
Thank you,
Ciro
I'm running Alliance ROM and there is no pop-up warning just a red line on the volume slider.
I know there are custom roms with the built in feature, but I didn't want to flash an entire custom rom. I was hoping to just stay rooted stock and flash just the mod.
I'd like to bump this to the top.
I'm not looking for a mod, just some help on where to make the change to get rid of the warning.
I can decompile/recompile an apk, or change a setting in a .db.
Any help is appreciated

Thanks for pointing me in this direction, but this does not work for me. The code in 5.1 does not match up anymore. I tried improvising and getting the two changes into the checkSafeMediaVolume(III)Z method. All I get are boot loops... I've found a couple of other ways to try, but not having any success. Does this work for you on OG5?

So far the only letdown from switching to CM12.1/5.1 is that there's no Xposed support (yet). Which means that flickering bug is a nuisance, because the "Disable HW Overlays" option doesn't stick on boot.
I have been testing making a change in build.prop to persistently disable HW overlays and it appears to be working so far... no flickers yet (fingers crossed):
Download Build Prop Editor and use it to change "persist.hwc.mdpcomp.enable=true" to "false".
Anybody try flashing a custom kernel from 12 on 12.1? Does it break?
Screen casting to Chromecast using the Chromecast app now works. I could never get that working on CM11 or 12. It's laggy, but it works

well there is a different wild kernel build2 reloaded, different from the first one that I downloaded, it works great. fast charge, under/over volt and overclock up to 2.1ghz are featured. It's awesome, I'm experiencing random reboots but I think it's a ROM related issue. other than that it's solid
I've had no random reboots on the stock kernel.

Flashing CM shouldn't modify your modem. I was running Madmack's (BM9615A) on CM12; did a full wipe and installed CM12.1 and I'm still on BM9615A.

Does anyone know why there's no option to use soft keys instead of capacitive keys on cm12.1? Is it going to be added in the future or is it that there's no way to do so for the ogp?
As for the status bar there's no option to customise it.. The only option there is, is to change users.

Add this line to your build.prop qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 then reboot.
To customize quick settings tiles it's under settings>notification drawer.
This rom has been ported by XDA member 'gtbluesky'. His profile is at -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4474974
I found it on a chinese website and am merely posting it to help guys owning the SHV-E300 since I cound not find any version of MIUI anywhere else. The rom is smooth. Before creating this thread I tried contacting gtbluesky for permission but he is not replying. Anyway if he tells me no then I'll need to delete this thread.
ROM Version:MIUI 7.5.11.22 Beta
Download link:

Flash like you usually do. In TWRP or any good custom recovery make a backup of current rom, do factory reset, data, dalvic and cache wipe. Install the already downloaded "miui_E300_gtbluesky_5.11.22_V7_4.4changed.zip". Reboot. First boot may take a bit long time. If it is stuck at the samsung logo then boot in recovery and do a dalvik and cache wipe and reboot. Do not use MIUI updater to update your MIUI version directly.
This rom has solved my Connection problem or invalid MMI Code and Undefined additional service. Contact customer center problem.

Do not use MIUI updater to update your MIUI version. It will give problems like touch screen not working properly.

You could try to backup the kernel and flash over the updated ROM and see if it works.

some issues actually ( after applying changed update zip) no wifi, audio, imei and maybe some more that i don't know. backup and restore kernel didn't help. so i'm back to where i had started from ( to original MIUI I mean).
