So the Humble Bundle guys have released a new set of games for which you pay how ever much you want. But this time around, for the first time, they are supporting Android as well.
www.humblebundle.com/
The only game I'm really interested in is World Of Goo. I think it is available on the Market but is listed as not being compatible with our Wildfire S. However, that didn't seem to be the case on their list of requirements.
www.humble.assistly.com/customer/portal/articles/332857-humble-bundle-for-android-system-reqs
Has anyone here tried and/or got World Of Goo running on the WFS? If so, how well did it work. Is it worth the purchase? Because I'd definitely get it if it is.

When's dgb geting it?
New year with a new rom, I can live with that. I just hope they aren't gonna hit any roadblocks so they can release it on time.
I bet AdamG would release Oxygen 3.0 a lot earlier than CM9 knowing that it wouldn't have heavy customization that CM roms are known for.

Well I can compile and develop source once someone has got it working intially but I have limited knowledge of the driver and kernel side and what is involved in getting a working build on an unsupported device. I had a small play last night but to be honest I have no idea how to get something working without the help of others.
Awww come on rootsu u can do it

As I could see here a Nexus One has a fully working MIUI ICS rom on MIUI United States site. Also, as much as I know both N1 and Desire has the same hardware under the hub, so porters I don't see any reason not to see it on Desire.
I'm not able to do that but I can chalenge you.

If you read the thread you will see that this rom has the same problems as all the rest. Mainly handling video recording and playback. The kernel is still 2.6 and the rom base is definately based on evervolv sources. So, no there's nothing new in this rom.

Is this MIUI ROM much better than CM ?
Does anyone have heard about downgrading HOV to Android 2.3.7? Is that possible?
Sent from USG Ishimura using Connection Module
It's possible. But NO ONE will do it. It would mean reverse engineering almost all of the code. That's too much work. Why would you want to go back to gingerbread anyways? That's a major downgrade in software from 4.0. I see no point in it.

I know, but I'm a real player And with many of new games there are problems to play smoothly or even running them on our phones... and theres few older games I really want to play and they will runs smoothly, but they won't work on ICS and JB

I would also pay ,if someone release a gingerbread rom ,,because gingerbread roms have better battery life are smoother and faster

Very possible to do. There are some phones closely resembling hardware to ours, but some stuff would be tricky. Will someone actually work on it though is the question at hand. Everyone wants ICS+ these days.

GB is nowhere near as smooth as ics/jb. Even my old hero have a smoother scroll in ICS than in GB. That being said, it will be so hard to make wifi, bluetooth and camera working, not to mention that we will need a kernel done from scratch and i am 1000% sure that maxwen doesn't want to do another one for us! Just be happy that you at least have 4.1.2 and in the future we will have 4.2!

everyone could do it, you just need guidance, that's all. no one was raised knowing everything - you know what they say.
Porting GB, I was thinking this the other day. Gingerbread on this would most likely be a fun Rom, as in nothing really working. It would be an accomplishment though.

1) What is "KLP"?
2) I want GB because new games pisses me off, especially those from Gameloft... but there're some games form GL great times, e.g. Dungeon Hunter 2 or N.O.V.A. 2... last days I wanted to play Gangstar West Coast Hustle and Miami Vindication, but with no luck :/... I was thinking about Moder Combat 2 Black Pegasus, too, but I've found version working on ICS few months ago
But if no one likes to get back to old times sometimes, then we have no reasons to talk about that...

Ok, silly question...
Is it possible to decompile an app that requires android 3.1 or higher and change some code or something and make it compatible with lets say android 2.3.7 (cm7) ???
Odp: [Q] App Compatibility
Probably not. It's like you would have apex or nova launcher or cm 7 (;

Well, there might be a reason why an app is for android 4+ Only.
Like for instagram, they say that a better GPU etc is needed and phones that have ICS/JB by default are gonna be better phones .... another example of app is Temple Run, Subway Surfer, ASPHALT 7 HEAT etc.

Who need fancy animations anyway Ok Chrome is super cool looking... but devs should make app compatible with all versions especially if they make money from it or its social network like instagram... limited edition only for people with pricey phones, i cant think of nothing else f that s whatsoever...
Must start developing android soon, when i catch some more time

hello all
i look at the list of roms and its amazing how little support for this device there is. Most roms either discontinued or not been updated for a while.
but i have an idea how we can change this.
i have built cyanogenmod for many devices (xperia play, htc wildfire, htc desire) and even thou most of them wasn't released i wanna make something to share and help keep this device going. i am hoping that if this is successful then we would see or devices running android 5 (if that's what version it is)
so on to the question...
Where do i get the sources to build cyanogenmod for our device?
hope you guys can help me, i really want to start working on this device
