Hello my dear XDA community.
It has been brought to my attention that , the ***ing problem about Ad-hoc networks, and Eduroam still isn't working, atleast with the Runnymede. All you get is the classic "authenticating" and then the Wifi loops around and around again.
Im currently running 5.1.1 (latest) Runnymedes, and i see in the changelogs that he is tampering with the Ad-Hoc...
Ive been searching around, and not founding any satisfying solution, so i ask here...
Can someone tell me how to get Eduroam working? without fiddling to much with my phone?!

I've installed latest 4r1 beta and see that many people in rom thread have wi-fi working via setting static ip against dhcp, but my phone can't even see any wi-fi networks. Other roms work well and just updated to Vision_Radio_12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19 but still no wi-fi. I wonder if anyone can help or atleast post this question to main thread as im new member and can't post in ad development topics.

Hi, I have the same problem. Available networks are not appear when turning on wifi. I am currently on ICS_AOSP_Vision_beta8r5 (BTW great rom).
I hope devs will help us with this issue.
I'm not running an ICS ROM at the moment, but I had the same problem and figured it out. If I remember correctly, at the top of the list (above the list of networks) there's a toggle you need to switch on. It wasn't obvious, just happened to find it by accident. Check it out.

Hey guys, tried to do my reading and research before making a thread - so I hope this isn't answered somewhere obvious but if so I apologize beforehand.
I have a Galaxy S3 i747 on Telus Mobility in Alberta, Canada. I was an affluent iPhone junkie, but this was my first foray into Android. Love it. I successfully rooted the stock firmware, got clockwork installed and then decided I wanted to move into a custom rom.
I got the 11/27 Nightly installed no problems and had no issues. Upon updating to the 12/27, everything went smoothly except I couldn't get 4G connectivity at home. I usually can have 4G at home, no questions asked. Upon updating, back to 3G only.
Checked APN Settings
Ensured Preferred network
Enabled Mobile Data
I went to a city about an hour away and intermittently, the phone grabbed 4G. It would switch over, let me connect at full speed then switch back to 3G. Upon returning home, back to 3G. Again, normally I NEVER see 3G, always atleast 4, then LTE when I go to Edmonton.
Anyone have any ideas?? Love CMOD and don't really wanna flash back to stock.
Thanks guys, this place is a wealth of information and a joy to read.

Any ideas?
Cannot find a solution to my problem, so finally throwing in the towel. If this is not posted in the right section, please let me know.
I have a US cellular SCH-R760. Was having issues with it (ended up just being bad battery) and decided to start trying custom roms so I could upgrade to JB. Obviously isn't available yet for the USC version, so using the E4GT roms. I am currently running Slim Bean and love it. Have also tried Jellybam and Wild for the Night, and have had the same issue on every one: speakerphone not working at all. The speaker itself works fine for media, but if I try to put a call on speakerphone, I get absolutely nothing. Same for phone Bluetooth audio. Media Bluetooth works fine, but nothing for the phone.

Actually, there is a US Cellular page where, as I read earlier on these forums, they port E4GT roms all the time. You should fine your device there.

Not sure, mobile internet was working here when I uploaded the last build, though my Inc is no longer active so I can't test it anymore.

Hi, I have a technical problem with this ROM and all other AOSP ROM's. For some reason, my WIFI doesn't work. It's grayed out. I did some searching in the various forums, a lot of people recommended restarting the phone to fix it, others recommended toggling airplane mode a few times, all of these, unfortunately, did not help me. I am able to connect to WiFi on Sense roms, just not AOSP.
Any suggestions? Are there specific posts on this that I somehow missed?
Thanks for your help!
The "toggles menu" button at the top of the notifications list is sometimes completely hidden except a sliver on the right side, which requires pressing at the very far right edge of the screen to see it.
The toggles menu I refer to is where the brightness, settings, wireless, bluetooth, airplane mode, etc can be toggled on/off.
Any reason for it being nearly completely hidden? What can I do to correct it?
