This theme would look awsome on the Galaxy 2, still running it on my daughters phone.

Seeing as there are a lot of poor quality lwps out there I figured a thread suggesting good looking ones would be a decent idea. I'll start off with Particle 3d, it looks great if you crank the settings up :
Market link
Thanks that one looks good.
I suggest any of these 3 :
ice galaxy
Inferno galaxy
Vortex galaxy
edit : and shadow galaxy
any chance of getting the iconia water level LWP ported to SGS2?

Looks awesome on the X10 but I'm getting horrible colour banding on my SGS II on that.
Using plain black with sparkling particles now anyway so thanks

I think Photile is absolutely impressive. Very cool effects and very versatile as different effects and wallpapers can be chosen.

If you want to impress the geeky friends try 'spring zen hd'. Depth of field, etc.

Here's a version I made as well, it's just a simple blue background, it does have some banding though:

I simply love the Blue Skies Live Wallpaper. The way the colors change when the sun goes down adds a nice touch.

dsixda's Android Kitchen - Now for Samsung Galaxy SII SGH-T989/T989D
Compatible with Windows (Cygwin) / Linux / Mac OS X
The following is a guide to assist you with creating your own Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-T989 (and equivalent devices) custom ROMs with the kitchen. This is NOT a guide to help you become Cyanogen or do fancy things with AOSP, but it may be your springboard to bigger things in the future.
Some of you already know about the Android Kitchen. It is a project I started on back in February 2010 to help newbies create their own custom ROMs and learn more about Android. As of version 0.181, you can now create your own Galaxy S2 SGH-T989(D) ROMs with the kitchen. This includes the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 and the Telus Galaxy S2 X.
I'd like to thank twopumpchump (who owns an AT&T Skyrocket) and -Mr. X- (Telus Galaxy S2 X) for helping me out, as well as for testing on their devices and providing feedback. I only have a Bell Galaxy S2 I9100 so their assistance was greatly appreciated!
I have already posted an equivalent thread for the AT&T Skyrocket, so no need for redundancy. The same steps will work for your device.
CLICK HERE FOR KITCHEN DETAILS AND DISCUSSION FOR THE SGH-T989(D).http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1390903
Enjoy!
Reserved, just in case.

I went thru the process of installing everything. The problem I am having is when I create the kitchen folder, the user name it is being put under has a space in it. (ie John Doe). I am using the C:\cygwin as the main base folder. I have changed the computer name to (john) and the user name to (john), and re installed the program but it still comes up (John Doe). Any idea on how to fix? Please PM me if you need more info..
Thanks
Hello All..
I could use some help here. I have the Galaxy S2 (Epic Touch 4G) and would like to have all of the STOCK .png files available so that I can change app icons when needed. Is there a standard .zip file out there for something like that? How about S3 Stock Iconset?
Thanks in advance for all your help on this. I have searched high and low, with no luck, yes - even this forum.
Sincerely,
Kevin

Maybe you can get the Galaxy s2 icon set in i9000 (Galaxy s1) forums, you know, at that time, you wanted to have your Galaxy S like a s2!
Thanks...

I found that the nexus 4 boot the galaxy s4 rom. Did our nexus boot this rom for nexus 4 or other?

*Facepalm* All that rom is is CM themed like TouchPiss. You could pull all of the sounds, wall papers and launcher from that rom and put them on your phone. Then you could install one of the the many TouchPiss themes out there. That would essentially give you what that rom is on the Gnex.
S4 CM 10.1 theme: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...hc3NhZmNhLnRoZW1lLnRvdWNod2l6LmZpdmUuZnJlZSJd
I agree with mentose457
it all sounds good on paper well phone lol..... but it would be all surface look and that would be all you need anyway.... seems more like just specific theme look is all.
but good luck on your tweaking.
cheers

Ah, the cyanogenmod team might do this using a cyanogenmod rom but I dont think everything will be pure Samsung Galaxy S4 as framework might be different although its "Galaxy" Nexus. I could be wrong correct me if im wrong.
Based on CM10.1, you can expect some serious mimicking of Galaxy S4. Of course, this is all cosmetically S4 but it can certainly refresh your Nexus 4 experience.

Comments say that it does not have S4 calendar widget, so it probably doesn't have many changes aside from looks.
It's just CM10.1 with a theme, and sounds. You should be able to download the sounds yourself if you look around, and use a theme from the Play Store.
Why look around? The sounds, wallpaper, and launcher are in that download already. Download that ROM and pull them from it. The theme it uses is probably a regular t-mobile theme engine theme that you could pull from that ROM.
