Transparent Touchwiz for Galaxy Ace

Credits to Lovetz for the apk.
A Touchwiz with Transparent app drawer background.
u must be deodexed and rooted and also have another launcher (for example launcher pro)
To install,
1st-download the attachment
2nd-use root explorer and copy it to system/app
3rd-Fix the permissions appropriately to rw-r--r-- (644)
And your done

i dont get you...

i replaced the default launcher with this, now i need a copy of the default launcher from code.rom, the one I had before using this. My rom is CODEROM 2B

i attempt to copy the file via root explorer..
but it is asking "you want to overwrite the existing file?"
something like that..so i cancel the copy..
coz im not sure if this gonna work with froyo dxkc1 stock..

this trick doesnt work on us..i had tried it..
the bottom part which was the contacts messaging dial and menu was empty..
good thing i had back up my twlauncher30...
and i again back to stock..

I'm running coderom v2x 2b. I installed this, and found that the taskbar contents are missing (Only messaging and menu shortcuts are present). I even tried a cache/dalvik cache wipe after installing this, but still no success.

@phoenix2241987: Try this way to solve your prob:
1. Tap menu shortcut
2. Tap menu button > Edit
3. Drag and drop "Contact" and "Phone" into taskbar

These icons are similar to SGS. They are porting from SGS with da_jok3r.

If you dont want to install any app and want default buttons then :
You need root for this to work. All you need is some type of file explorer.
1. Go to system --> build.prop (open with the text editor)
2. Add a new line at the end :
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
3. Reboot your phone and enjoy!

If you do this you will get a bootloop cuz Samsung has disabled the soft keys in 4.2.2.
To bypass this I've modded the systemui, check my thread:

also the build.prop method is tested on 4.1.2... and working fine ...
also jangra bro hasn't mentioned that he is asking it for 4.2.2

Hi ravinder well suggestions but button saviour looks ugly means buttons are not showing in proper manner that they have to.

you should try build.prop method also if you are using 4.1.2
its simple and safe ... tested by me and so many people on xda

I know it's working on 4.1.2 honey, at the time the grand didn't have its own forum I had already mentioned it.
But it doesn't work on 4.2.2, and trying would end up in systemui constantly forcing close, not a big deal if one knows how to recover but still enough to worry many people.
So next time make things clear (which you didn't in your first post) instead of posting half true half wrong replies

Is there any way to put the m8 softkeys on the m7? I think they looks nice and I miss virtual keys

Yes, you can easily enable this:
Add this line in your build.prop:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
And you will have virtual keys.

Just 2 problems:
The stock launcher looks like that: (look attacments)
And the return (or back) key doesnt work.
Then, is there any way to turn off the led of the touchkeys?

That's because all Sense 6 ROMs are using a patched Launcher, so there is no gap if you are not using onscreen keys.
So, I don't know how to solve this issue and I also don't know, why back button isn't working :/

You can also disable the M7 keys completely if you modifie the key_layout file.

Dont forget to hide your old bottons with a black marker.

Try using gravity box with xposed module. It has a softkey setting. I only used it briefly but I don't think I had the issue you had.

I Changed the LCD Density to 350 and your problem was resolved in my case.
But it Changed at Homescreen. Now its not fit in the lockstreen

on the first sense 6 ports the software keys looked perfect when added to the build prop once the launcher got patched it messed up software keys

You don't have to change it. Simply edit the original file and make a backup before.
But it's rw-r--r--

Turns out there are two build.props. in my phone one that's In the sydtem folder and one in aroma. So I just added the line to both build.props and it worked out

If you have es file manager this is what I did to get it to work once you enter the systems folder in the root of the phone search for the build.prop if you are on insert coin 2.4.0 there should be two of them that show up I added the code to both build props then change their properties to rw- r--r-- and reboot and it worked but for insert coin the back button don't work so I switched back to arhd because of that and everything worked and also my extreme power saving mode doesn't activate.

Now u can do it on grand prime with just few steps
Tested on SM-G530H XCU
I think it will work on all GP Varients

Root (of course)
How to get it :
1-Open sqlite editor
2-Grant root
3-scroll down until you see settings storage and tap on it

There is sentence my_profile_enabled
Press on it then pencil button on top and change value to " 1 " press ok
# now to customize it :
*See sentence my_profile_text_color
The value is " -1"
