I flashed RC2 and then the wifi fix but it ain't working. Did I do something wrong?

Alright, I rooted my EVO using the unrEVOked 3.3 method. I also NAND unlocked it. But when I flash any rom/kernel/radio. I lose MMS. Now I can root the stock sprint setup and I can receive MMS, but ANY other rom I lose the ability to get incoming pics. I have tried 2.2 roms, 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 roms with the same result every time.
Any ideas?

Well I'm not sure which roms you're running, but in the latest CM7 nightlies, its a known bug with the MMS issue; you can send them, but they won't receive; its getting worked on.
I suppose a work around for now would be to stay on that stock rom you were on, or notify the people that are sending them, and have mms [pic, song, ect] sent to an email account, in which you can download it from.
Thanks, I have tried 15 different roms in the past 2 days. Even ones that say MMS works. I'm just gonna stick on stock for now until I know for sure I can get a good running rom with at least MMS working.

Hopefully it does get fixed, but no problem.
You could always revert to stock Ruu and see if that fixes anything. Also, try wiping everything before you flash, including boot and system.
You could try as someone above said, do a full wipe. In Amon RA do a full wipe: data: factory reset, data, cache, dalvik cache. Then use Caulkin's Format All (search for it you'll find it somewhere on here). Flash into a sense ROM, Kings UNleashed R5 is good. Then update profile and PRL & see if that works. I had a similar problem and did these steps and it worked again. Similarly, if you want to try an AOSP rom like CM7 or MIUI, do this in a sense rom before hand and then just wipe cache, dalvik cache, then flash new ROM and the profile and PRL will still be in tact.

I updated my phone a week ago with the ota EL29 then the next day i rooted my phone using the tools in this link:

The wifi problem is when I try to connect:
I type in my PW as allways, and then its trying to obtain IP and then it disables and keeps doing the same thing over and over.i flashed the blazer rom following the directions countless times wiped everything and used the Calkulin's Format All before installing but no luck.
Any one know what i could be doing wrong?
Whats funny is that i did this for someone else and everything is 100% lol.

Try flashing a ROM. Any ROM will do, but when you do:
wipe data, cache, dalvik and format system (under mounts and storage). Flash new ROM, check to see if wifi works on the new ROM. if yes, then go find a stock EL29 ROM (Do NOT restore your old one) and flash it after wiping data, cache, dalvik and formatting system again.
That should do it
Have you tried rebooting your wireless ap/router? Have you tried configuring a different channel on your ap/router? Have you tried ##72786# reset?

k everythings working now flashed a stock rom then wifi worked,then i wiped everything and installed blazer again but wifi did not work so i downloaded blazer again wiped everything again then it worked?maybe the first was a bad download but im good now thanks guys for the help.
my wireless router likes to do this to me, i just reboot the router and it gives my phone an ip
Alright after all what I have done, I am still getting reboots when I open Google Maps and GPS is just about to lock to a location.
Things I have done:
1. Start from scratch - Format and wipe /system, /data, /cache, /sdcard, /sd-ext, delvick cache, run Caulkin's Format ALL, again wiped everything above, and last did VR_SUPERWIPE.zip
2. Flashed STOCK Sense Rom 4.67.651.3 (new ota update)[ROM] and rebooted into Stock Rom.

3. Used MSL Reader + ##GPSCLRX# (##4772579#) method. Updated PRL while in SENSE Rom, and everything under settings > about phone > updates
4. Repeated Step 1
5. Flashed CM7.2 supersonic
6. Used Titanium backup to install only apk files for applications, not data files. Nothing from system was restored.
7. Did the Google Play updates to all apps, rebooted, Did more updates.
8. No task killers were installed, only major change is I went from ADW Launcher to GO Launcher EX.
Now I open the maps, I am on 3G speeds, maps load up, but within 5 seconds the GPS Locks, and booom Reboot.
Sometimes after the reboot, while in the middle of the CM7 boot animation, it will reboot again.
Only way to get everything back to stable is to wipe delivk cache again.
Extra steps taken:

Have u attempted using another aosp rom like reloaded to see if the problem lies in cm7.2. I can verify that gps is flawless with reloaded.
Also, switch to amonra or smelkus recovery. Clockwork always causes problems

It wont fix anything. It will eliminate a bad flash/wipe from possible problems. Just do the sense ##gpsclrx# and flash to a different aosp like decks or reloaded and see if the problem persists.
still having issues
So I have been through most AOSP roms lately.. And I am still stuck on the reboot when I load up maps. Now though its getting worst.
Maps works for may be 10 seconds, get a good lock, but then within 10 seconds it reboots. Then gets stuck in a boot loop, until the battery is burning hot.
Another issue is now I get random reboots even while surfing the internet, loading and restoring from Go Backup / Titanium. All Google Inc apps are always fresh from Play store though. Since I moved to AmonRA and then TWRP, it didn't help what so ever. So finally I moved to RA-supersonic-v4.3-smelkus. I replaced my Samsung 32gb class 10 card with what came with the phone which was Sandisk 16gb class 4, but same issue. BTW, I always used 1gb of ex3 partition for A2SD when I loaded up any of the roms like MIUI, CM7.2, CM7.1, most any of the ICS beta's posted in the past month, and finally also tested Revolver, and the latest Deck's Reloaded GB2.3.5 with Mason G d15rc3 kernal. I found Saveged Zen to be no good with any of the roms, nor did I find Tiamat any help.
Now I am with RA 4.3 smelkus recovery, and Deck's latest rom with Mason Gd15 kernal, and the GPS Flash 3 zip. Still issues
I have been trying to produce logcat's but, the reboots are not letting me save anything before the dump to file happens.
try a sense rom and see if you are still having issues. I have run CIUI and GTR twinturbo, which are both cm7.2 based and have NO gps issues after flashing the GPS supersonic flash3.zip
Try unrooting and see if you have the same issue, it could be a hardware issue you could get replaced with sprint. Otherwise re root and try again.

id try a stock rooted rom before going through unrooting and rerooting .
I flash Jelly sandwich v5.0(lastest) with DoomKernel v5 Beta , the first time when i flash wifi is working
but now when i flash again wifi not work, i can't understand , i have aready flash module wifi doomkernel many time but still not work
And i can't use another kernel like trinity , knight, lusupu.... because when flash finish it auto reboot , just reboot and reboot not work
I try come back jelly sanwich v4.5 with trinity kernel , wifi working but i don't like this version
I use sony ARC Lt15i.

Try this..
Boot into CWM > do a "wipe data/factory reset", wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache and re-flash the kernel + the modules (NOTE: always flash the kernel first then wifi modules)
I have the exact same issue as mnbo123. I wonder if Your solution works..
unfortunately the problem still persists on my LT15i. I've checked different kernels (trinity&arcknight) - both result in bootloops. Doomkernel v5 works, but wifi is unavailable. I tried to reflash it and then install the modules in CWM with no success.
Any ideas how to fix it ?

I flashed pacman rom 22.3 in a phone and I seem to get error sometimes " PAC is LOADING " and usually afterwards it restarts! It's not very common!
I am not sure what is causing this : I flashed my ROM and then clear dalvik/wipes and cleared dalvik/wipes before flashing as well.
Also I am using HTC Desire HD of AT&T (Inspire 4G).
Anyone who solved this problem ? And anyone having any idea what causes this error so I can try to fix it if it is bug related ?

why you must clear dalvik/wipes after flashing the rom..?
what about if you try it just wipe data/ factory reset from recovery before flashing the rom and then nothing to wipe anything else after that..
