I myself am to nervous about causing my iconia to get stuck in a boot loop or make it not load up anymore but is it possible to modify the framework.apk to have the circle percent honey comb battery instead of the one our tablets has?
More than likely you'd have to deodex your tab before you could modify it... Here's more info:

I flashed MIUI, then applied the theme I wanted, Elite Pro HD. I wanted the SCB battery mod as well, so booted into recovery and flashed the one I made of only the battery mod, however after uploading the framework-res.apk file in the kitchen it removed practically all themeing in MIUI after reboot. After I do that, it will not allow me apply any new themes. Some icons change but nothing else, the dock icons, fonts etc all stay stock MIUI and I can't figure out why so any help would be much appreciated. Would love to be able to somehow implement the SCB mod into the theme or just make them work together.
it sounds to me like you will have to learn how to make custom frameworks if you want it all working together.
my suggestions:-
choose whatever battery you want on UOT - make it for any rom, doesnt matter you only need the files.
decompile the UOT framework - take the .png's for the battery and .xmls that control them
decompile your already custom framework - copy .xml's and .png's from the UOT framework over to it.
compile framework, add it to an update.zip and sign that.
you might want to search xda if you dont know how to do any of the above, all the info is available here
EDIT: looking at that theme it already has a percentage battery, if the .xmls are the same as UOT you could just replace the .png's in the original update and re-sign

Kitchen removes nothing. if u cooked file from your rom, so u get everything stock.
U should cook framework-res.apk from the theme's zip.

To do that you just need to just replace framework-res.apk with crt off mod and battery mod, animations are placed inside this apk in folder res/anim. I can attach my mod if you wish, with just three animations mod for unlock, status bar and left right slide (if you wish you could replace it with stock ones fom framework-res.apk copy-paste all xml files from anim folder) and amazing battery graphics (with percentage) stolen and little color moded from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12949583&postcount=1413
So just replace other two .jar files from this post with stock ones, to have no expanded lock menu, and to have crt off and percentage battery (I can upload my little mod of framework-res.apk (without blue color battery and some orange blue system color mod).

LOL
I did got one bootloop when I deleted android.policy.jar and framework.jar from your zip (becouse it first wipes than copy files), so if all followed writen above won't cause bootloop
BTW thanx for your mod once again, but I changed battery color from blue to green(er)
Funny thing happend after I made stock crt off framework-res.apk
it was always showing full battery icon and even after I flashed full stock JVB ROM. With moded framework-res.apk it works flawlesly, now I'm on homemode JVA(less buggy) but still don't know does the stock battery works, didn't tried it...strange?
Hey guys,
I found this really nice pull down menu here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26035085&postcount=713
Except with this mod, I cannot add it onto my XWLP8 because it was made for XWLP9.
I've figured out how to move the battery icons over (by extracting a bit and looking thru then using the battery mod tool). I just would like to get pretty much the whole thing over including the transparent background and the black look of it.
What would be the best way of going about this? Or would it be better for me to just upload by SystemUI.apk and Framework.apk to let you guys put it together?
Well, I've been trying and trying to get it working. I have very little experience with android hacking, but I went into the Battery mod zip that i flashed on before and realised there was a MORPH folder within - i assumed whatever was in the folder would morph with the original system files. I chucked the files from the XWLP9 mod into the Morph folder in the places, and zipped it up again - I actually named the zip lol because I thought it would just stuff up my secondary boot i use for testing this stuff, and it actually worked. It looks like its working for most areas of the OS. Although I'm not too sure yet...
hello everyone

Hi ,
I am not sure if that is the best way but works 100% for my Galaxy SIII - Odexed rom. Go to the UOT Kitchen (I know it is not oficially compatible with ROMs 4 and higher yet ...) web page and prepare the "tiny" battery style set of icons ( I think that is what you are looking for) adjusting colors as you wish. Upload two files: framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from your Android and "cook it". Once you download the mod do not flash it (it would not work) but unzip it and copy the modified SystemUI.apk into the Android: System/app folder overwriting the original one. Then restart the phone and everything should work perfect anyway works for me (I tested 5 different sets of icon).
PS. I used to use the Battery Mod Tool before which worked perfect on Galaxy S2 but does not on Galaxy S3 with the stock ROM yet.
Good luck!
Can you upload one set pof vattery please as im at work and i would like to try it. Then if it works ill cook me one for my taste.

Once you select the battery mod from the UOT Kitchen you will be able to generate the preview and check them out before cooking.
Hey guys,
I really need help on changing the battery icon on my galaxy s3. I jusr hate how it looks. so I downloaded a program called ROM Toolbox Pro (im sure you've heard of it), installed it and downloaded the icon pack (Circular Colourful). I installed it and none of my battery icons changed. I restarted SystemUI.apk and nothing happened. I did a reboot and nothing happened. keep in mind that iam rooted and have custom recovery. i asked a question/ made a post on the bootloop that I encountered when changing SystemUI.apk, but I fixed it. so could someone help me solve this problem?
Thanks
Nevermind, fixed: just installed previous version.

Same Problem
Hi I was just curious what you meant by previous version. I am having the same problem. I'm rooted, running a custom ROM and I was able to change my boot animation fine with Rom Toolbox Pro, but it's not changing the Battery Icons I chose.

As an option, this a very cool statusbar icon creator you use from a PC to make a flashable zip. Some of the settings need to be tweaked to assign the proper names to the pngs. for example. the signal output has to be renamed tw_stat_sys_6_level_signal_ so it replaces the proper files on our phone. I also found success using a working, flashable zip that replaces the battery icons and just replacing the images in that file with the ones i made and rezipping. Its very easy, but seems more geared toward international S3's, so thats why it needs a couple tweaks. The options for colors and styles is pretty impressive!
