To do that you just need to just replace framework-res.apk with crt off mod and battery mod, animations are placed inside this apk in folder res/anim. I can attach my mod if you wish, with just three animations mod for unlock, status bar and left right slide (if you wish you could replace it with stock ones fom framework-res.apk copy-paste all xml files from anim folder) and amazing battery graphics (with percentage) stolen and little color moded from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12949583&postcount=1413
So just replace other two .jar files from this post with stock ones, to have no expanded lock menu, and to have crt off and percentage battery (I can upload my little mod of framework-res.apk (without blue color battery and some orange blue system color mod).

LOL
I did got one bootloop when I deleted android.policy.jar and framework.jar from your zip (becouse it first wipes than copy files), so if all followed writen above won't cause bootloop
BTW thanx for your mod once again, but I changed battery color from blue to green(er)
Funny thing happend after I made stock crt off framework-res.apk
it was always showing full battery icon and even after I flashed full stock JVB ROM. With moded framework-res.apk it works flawlesly, now I'm on homemode JVA(less buggy) but still don't know does the stock battery works, didn't tried it...strange?

Hello everyone! These are my mods and themes that I use daily and I thought that there might be more like me who would like them, and I said it would be nice to share
So, here they are:
1. AbitofSens - This theme has some changes "inspired" from a sense ROM, like icons, battery, signal stat, settings icons, some other icons and etc. It also has stock Android lock screen. Is not much, but is simple and elegant, maybe there are people who are interested.
2. AbitofSmoothSens - The second theme is based on AbitofSens but with Smooth Sense percent battery with white text.
Manny thanks to the guys from Droid Incredible thread
3. Azreil`s Notifications Tab - changed icons and backgrounds.
4. SmoothSense % Batt Mod - This is just the percent battery with white text and some minor changes in the status bar and notifications.
5. Dani31's Stock Galaxy S % Battery - As the name states this mod is all stock but with stock % battery. Credits go to dani31 for the battery icons, I only did the modifications in orther for the mod to work on JPK.
This is for JPK Froyo only!!
For other ROM versions post your original framework-res.apk and settings.apk.
Just flash using Recovery (2e) expecting that you allready rooted the phone, rename the file in "update.zip", you know the drill
If you use CWM Recovery no need to rename, just flash.
Enjoy!
Cheers!
EVERYTHING IS TESTED AND WORKS!! IF BUGS FOUND PLEASE REPORT IN ORDER TO EXTERMINATE
All files can be found here: 1. JPM, JPA & JPO | 2. JPK | 3. JP6
Changes:
21.10.10 - Minor changes; - No more black text over black blackground;
22.10.10 - Can confirm the mod and theme for JPM work for JPA, tested on my phone.
22.10.10 - Added stock Android Messaging and modded Contacts icons and some notifications, for AbitofSmoothSense.
22.10.10 - Added a version of AbitofSmoothSense with SGS Messaging app AOSP modded, maybe not anyone likes stock Android Messaging.
23.10.10 - Just flashed DocRambone JP6 and my JPM theme and mod and it runs without problems.
26.10.10 - JP6 folder created, files wich end in "SGS_SMS_APP" have AOSP look SGS MMS and Contacts apps. More to come..
04.11.10 - JPM/JPA Theme and Mod work for JPO too, confirmed by other users too.
06.11.10 - Added my extremelly light Launcher, is stock SGS without iPhone icon backgrounds, change a few icons, optimized, zipaligned, more in the future. I like it, is fast and less iphone-ish. V2 has fully transparent menu background, see 3rd screen. Flash as update.zip in recovery 2e or CWM.
25.11.10 - Added updated version, updated the charging animation, is fully working now, minor optimizations. Tested on JPM and JPO.
Can you apply these lock screens manual I have the 3e Recovery.
The phone has to be rooted in order to do it manually. Gues that if you have 3e you didn`t root.
I have rooted. Which files to copy?
In the update zip, framework folder you have "android.policy.jar" and "android.policy.odex" copy them with RootExplorer in "system/framework" in your phone, reset the phone and your done.
Did that. Im on 2.2JPK and now the phone wont boot. Sits on the white GT-I9000 screen. Was I suppose to put any other files in? And how can I do this without a re-flash? I have still got recovery and download mode.
That shouldn`t have happened, I did the same thing and had no problems, the same 2.2 JPK ROM. If it won`t start and stays at the boot logo it entered into a loop. Unfortunetally you might have to reflash, didn`t had this so I don`t know if you can do anything else.
Sorry.
FFS you should test stuff throuhrough before posting it...
I did mate, everything works, you might have made something wrong, don`t blame me.
I did exactly as you said, copied the two files over. You sure your not meant to copy the other files too?
For stock lock screen you only need the two files I told you in the previuos post. Is the n-th time i did the same thing, never had problems. By the way, how did you do root if you still have 3e recovery? After root I have 2e.
Sorry, totally my bad. Was using JPH and thought I was on JPK, just flashed to JPK and everything works fine.
Glad you got it fixed
Did you manage to get the stock lockscreen?
Think im getting mixed up here
Is this a lock screen?
NO. That is Launcher Pro with Windows Phone 7 layout. That is the desktop
This is the lockscreen:
Mm okay, I don't like this theme simply because you cant read the text in the notification bar.
FIXED! See first post. Sorry for that.
Just updated, lets see
Decent theme now, room for improvement as highlighted on front page.
Thanks, i will improve it, unfortunetally I don`t have too much time to experiment with the phone.
New stuff in the first post
I flashed MIUI, then applied the theme I wanted, Elite Pro HD. I wanted the SCB battery mod as well, so booted into recovery and flashed the one I made of only the battery mod, however after uploading the framework-res.apk file in the kitchen it removed practically all themeing in MIUI after reboot. After I do that, it will not allow me apply any new themes. Some icons change but nothing else, the dock icons, fonts etc all stay stock MIUI and I can't figure out why so any help would be much appreciated. Would love to be able to somehow implement the SCB mod into the theme or just make them work together.
it sounds to me like you will have to learn how to make custom frameworks if you want it all working together.
my suggestions:-
choose whatever battery you want on UOT - make it for any rom, doesnt matter you only need the files.
decompile the UOT framework - take the .png's for the battery and .xmls that control them
decompile your already custom framework - copy .xml's and .png's from the UOT framework over to it.
compile framework, add it to an update.zip and sign that.
you might want to search xda if you dont know how to do any of the above, all the info is available here
EDIT: looking at that theme it already has a percentage battery, if the .xmls are the same as UOT you could just replace the .png's in the original update and re-sign

Kitchen removes nothing. if u cooked file from your rom, so u get everything stock.
U should cook framework-res.apk from the theme's zip.
This is an odexed version of my theme here.
For the Odexed version I'm only offering the 'complete' theme and maybe the lockscreen I guess by itself.
What this does:
* Changes the images in framework-res and SystemUI, these include the window frame shape, status bars and various other graphics.
* Changes a few text colours to properly match the new graphics.
* For the moment, has AOSP stock battery mod. (not percentages).
What this will never do:
* Add more lockscreens.
* Have the extended power menu. (iirc these are "unsafe" reboots anyway)
* Include the CRT off animation.
If you're after these features I recommend popping over to ock's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1010324
Screenshots
Note:
I'm making it a bit easier to install everything and including a 'complete' theme. This changes:
/system/framework/framework-res.apk
/system/framework/android.policy.jar
/system/app/SystemUI.apk
/system/app/MediaProvider.apk
/system/app/DownloadProvider.apk
CWM3 Compatible Installs:
Complete theme:
* Install ONLY - aosp-complete-gb-jvX-vx.x-CWM.zip
Lockscreen:
* Install AOSP lock - aosp-lock-gb-jvX-CWM3s.zip
Reserved for future use.
Also reserved for future use.

It's for JVT stock. (odexed).
It's complete in that it includes mods to the files listed in the first post. framework-res, android.policy.jar, mediaprovider, downloadprovider, systemui. Previously with my deodexed theme I had separate CWM flashables for mediaprovider/downloadprovider/lockscreen/framework+sysui. So it's complete in that you only need to flash once instead of 3-5 times.
You shouldn't need to change anything after rebooting. It'll change it completely to AOSP lock screen. (It's not a multi-lockscreen mod).
Hi, I'm on stock JVT with semaphore 1.8.0 kernel and I installed the lockscreen only, but after that the phone wouldn't boot anymore, it was stuck at the galaxy s screen (before the boot animation). I then managed to put the complete theme zip on my external sd, flashed it and now it works. Got me a good scare though

They're the exact same files in the 'complete' and just the lockscreen (for the lockscreen part, android.policy.jar and android.policy.odex). May have needed to clear your dalvik cache. Possibly.
i had the same problem.
Lock screen only install caused boot loops.
Clear dalvik cache and cache, still the same.

I'm not planning on flashing back to JVS just to odex the old rom.
Any reason why you haven't upgraded to JVT?
Any chance of getting odex JVZ AOSP lockscreen?

Excellent. Thanks.
14 toggles statusbar, but yours toggles.
I am using a T989 4.0.3 UVLE1 rooted, otherwise stock. **DEodexed (added .bak to systemUI.odex) and 14togglesBlue.zip MOD added
When i extract the SystemUI.apk in Root Browser i find resources/assests (images in .png format) relating to the battery, wifi/mobile data, and signal bar icons for the status bar. The stock look is a green motif/theme for the battery and gray for the other icons, but included in the files are ICS blue colored icons that i have yet to see in my status bar, these .png files are named slightly different or are in a folder that is named slightly different.
If i wanted to use the ICS Blue styled icons, which i do, would it be as easy as replacing the green icons with the blue ones and renaming them?
Root browser allows me to extract SystemUI.apk so i can manipulate the files, ie rename and copy them, then when i am finished it only allows me to .zip SystemUI.apk
Is the .zip file created "flashable"? Is there a stndard/correct way of doing this?
Thank you.

Okay this is totally wrong.... lol
In order to edit any apk you need 7zip and apk manager or apk tool. And you need to properly deodex your system. Simply renaming systemui.odex to .bak will not "deodex" your ROM. I dont remember how to deodex anymore cause i dont run ROMs odexed. There are numerous threads explaining how to deodex so use search and google my friend
But you are on the right track. you could simply rename the .png files. But you have to rename them to exactly the same name as the ones which are being displayed currently. Or you could edit the status_bar.xml file and target the new .png files which is a bit more difficult but cleaner. Cause if you rename the new png files, you have to either delete or rename the old png files. Which i recommend the later.
Then you need to recompile the systemUI.apk with apk manager or apk tool (whichever you decide to use) google them both to get a better understanding of them. I dont wanna just "tell" you what exactly to do because i had to google everything myself, and in my googling i learned a lot more than what i wanted which made everything so much easier to do.
Also, when you recompile the apk, do not sign the apk. You could zip align the apk which i do to all my mods to ensure they are correct.
Hope this helped and good luck! If you need help just PM me or post in the thread. I respond to PMs quicker though. But have fun
So i used a MOD created by jim93 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1616189) to edit a systemUI.apk to add ICS style blue battery, blue WiFi status with blue/white upstream/downstream symbols, and blue Signal bars. All while maintaning the toggles and quick panal settings.
Now i would like to:
1. ICS Blue Clock + Remove AM/PM
2. Obtain a better battery icon with percentage inside battery
3. Transparent Notification window
4. Activate 180 degree rotation
I would like to make these adjustment on stock 4.0.3 UVLE1 software
I cant find a custom ROM that doesnt compromise on at least 1 basic feature, also very bad experinces with ROMs in the past. For me the Stock system is very stable and EVERYTHING WORKS
Can someone please help me locate the Files needed to edit these items, or at least let me know if any of my goals are completely impossible
Any advice or information is greatly appreciated
THANKS XDA!
if anyone would like my modded file (.zip) i can gmail it to you, really i only replaced .png (image files) no big deal

I have done most of these edits that you would like to try and I will tell you this if you search google with the information you need you will find tutorials on everything you are asking for. This is what I did and how I learned these fun tasks. Everything you want to do especially in ICS can be accomplished. Also check out a site called UOT Kitchen, it may save you on a step or two. Although learning how to do it is still quite educational as well.
over it
Of course i googled these topics, i google things ALL the time lol I've also used this site as a resource for over a year, tried all the apk modification tools suggested to no avail. Not understanding the instructions given here and being a tech/computer savvy person has made me very upset. This has caused me allot of stress and loss of sleep, Gave up returned my phone to factory settings goodnight
Thanks?
