Maybe you have to mute the typing sound, e.g. the clicks when you touch a letter You can find the option in the keyboard settings.

I think it is just a bug in the Rom I had this problem with one of the older gingercruzt roms but it got fixed think if u use poweramp it dosnt happen think thats how I used to get round it

I like it a lot, BUT there was too many things missing from it. I didn't see a Calendar, calculator and a music player. Am I missing something? The shutdown animation is nice!!!
no ur not missing anything yet im sure cpk has them coming on the next update hes prolly trying to intergrete miui music player and for calender theres alot of great downloadable ones or u cant the apk outta one of the other roms and install it..

I hope you are right because I really like this Rom even though a lot of people been having problems with it. I will stick to Random's Hawk Rom in the mean time.
You can easily get the things you're looking if you have the original Eg22 Rom
All you need to do is push a different mms.apk and musicplayer and the ROM is perfect. No soft reboots for me whatsoever. Anyhow, an update is coming

Im currently running RemPuzzle ROM v0.10.
I faced couple of problems with the new facebook app.
1. The posts containing videos are showing thet they require latest adobe flash player or a HTML5 browser.
2. The posts resolution of the app is strange. The header bar is correctly fit to screen but the posts go beyond the screen to out of focus. The previous versions showed perfectly both the issues. Please kindly look into it...

That's probably an issue you should take up with the apps developer not the rom developer.

This might be a real stupid question but when I recieve a call I get about a second of my normal ringtone with the contact photo displayed and then it goes to a screen with a dancing android man, plays "stayin' alive" and displays some text saying about invalid video ringtone something yadda yadda.....
I'm sure it never did this before and I can't find any settings for changing a video ringtone or videocalls in general and can't find the animation in phone.apk ??
It does it on all calls, with or without a contact photo.
I'm running apex rom but can't find anything in the apex thread to explain this....
Does anyone have this happening or is it normal and i'm just being a tit

No dodgy apps, downloaded plenty of wallpapers and assorted crap from all over the place so not sure if its malware or not ?? Why do ya think malware cos its not doing anything wrong(the calls still work fine) just got this friggin dancing disco droid going on !!

I've not seen it mentioned anywhere in the rom thread so don't think its part of that and also I'm sure it was working normally SINCE I installed the ROM.
The main reason of my post was to see if anyone else has this, or has had this ?
Well maybe not malware as such but adware. From the way you describe it it sounds like an app is intercepting your call and displaying an overlay that will probably try to do dodgy stuff if you follow its advice. I would highly recommend going through your app list and see if there is anything that shouldn't be there, especially an app that requires permission to read your phone state.

I don't have that issue but if u go into root explore and go to system/media there a video folder and I saw it has the Android in space video and I think it has the dancing Droid but I don't understand whey they're there. It has them on all 4.0.3/4 roms.

No its not in system/media . I'll try and get a video but I need three phones, one to call it and one to video it!

They are used for the Camera overlay effects. Google provided, so nothing nasty
Right I've solved the issue but I'm not really sure how. I deleted maybe 3 or 4 apps that I didn't really use and I also did a dalvik wipe( for another reason) . I hadnt recieved a call since and i went to video it for you guys and now I have no disco Droid! I think it was the dalvik wipe which solved it but I'm not sure why?
In a strange way I kind of miss that funky Droid now!!
This link shows pretty much whst the droid did but it was different music and the incoming call screen had the contact photo top left and a answer/end keys at the bottom....

It will fc 1 or two times and its NOT gonna work....
U just think it will work cause fc stop..i actually tried it...fc 2x then didnt feel difference..just a normal sound with DSP or BEATS..

try to use 'jet audio basic' with this application..
i have a cracked version which i can't share here brother
but use these settings, reverb>stage, AVC>100% and x-bass>100 %
it's the one used on jb 3.0.4.. no force closes, with beats equalizer ..
and you can feel the effect.. it's beyond amazing

one small tip for members who are getting FC with beats+dsp and any combination of same apps
freeze your app(which you don't wanna use )via titanium backup then use it!!!reboot is recommended
if ppl are still getting FC then you have installed too many same apps !!!flash the new ROm which you are using then i'am sure you won't get any FC
Is there any way to enable the skip track while screen off on any of the 4.1.2 roms? I've tried xposed with tweakbox and it didnt work.....i've searched each roms thread to no avail....any help or guidance would be awesome TIA
what music player are you using ?? some have the options in settings
mostly pandora which doesnt have the settings.....

every post i read when someone asks about the skip track mod in the respective roms threads it never gets answered...
i tried a couple of other modules but i get parsing errors possibly since the modules are for other devices i think
i know pandora works on stock touchwiz if you have the widget enabled you will be able to see the skip, pause, like track,this is what i can come up with for you right now but as far as the volume its tough since its a third party app and not actually a Samsung /galaxy app you know ...
