Looks like we now have a 32GB option for us GSM owners. Price is high, but 32GB is nice!
Negri 32GB Galaxy Nexus
Anyone else thinking like me that when the Galaxy Nexus GSM is officially out here in the states, it will be of LTE flavor on AT&T's network? Or am i dreaming?
i just bought my 16gb last week oh well...
I'm fine with 16gb, i can't see necessary for more (and pay more for this)

AT&T already announced their new hardware at CES, the Nexus is not one of the phones they're going to carry this year (instead, sort of) AT&T is gonna carry the Galaxy Note(LTE).
If you want a on-contract or "official US" Galaxy Nexus your 2 choices are Sprint or Verizon.

That is just pre order similar to other online sites like expansys... It is not available to buy now.
@negrielectronic on twitter estimate it to be available around Feb end.
There has been thread a week back on this already.

There's also MWC soon too. So there may be additional announcements.
This news (and the 16gb white model) has been out for a week by now. All the big importers are offering pre-orders of both.
Go figure! Bought mine dec 18 Quite happy with 16gb besides I've got USB OTG working nicely and a 32gb flash stick

Hi -- I'm having a tough time finding an MHL-to-HDMI Adapter for the Galaxy Nexus around New York City, but there's an HTC-branded one that's widely available (for the Sensation) at T-Mobile shops. It _looks_ like it should work for the Galaxy Nexus. Does anyone know if it will?

Try going into a Verizon store they sell them and it will work with a GSM model

I just bought the Samsung MHL-HDMI adapter from Amazon for $15 bucks. Works great. Says its for the Galaxy S2 but it works great on our phone too. And matches it pretty well.

no works perfectly. I only bought it temporarily to test out HDMI mirroring and to wait for the one I bought for $10 on ebay to arrive.
Funny thing is that the sales guys said it would only work on the Sensation (since the package said it), but I knew better. When I returned it, the lady said "let me guess you tried this on the Galaxy nexus?" I said "Yes, but it worked perfectly, I just dont want it anymore"
Thanks for all the information, everyone. I ended up trying both Verizon's Galaxy Nexus adapter and T Mobile's Sensation one for my HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. Verizon's worked initially but then only intermittently; whereas T Mobile's works great despite officially only being for the HTC Sensation.

I was browsing verizons website and came across this. I also cannot find the 32gb model on their website anymore. Just thought I'd point this out as its quite weird they would change this so late in the product lifecycle. Perhaps this indicates that Verizon plans on carrying the new nexus.
Probably a mistake.
Yea probably a mistake. I can't see them halving the memory almost a year later.
I remember Verizons site had several mistakes before. Its amazing how anyone sells technology these days. Back in my day, displays were all technical and legendary. Now your lucky to get any good accurate information.

Eh, give me a minute. I will confirm it with a store manager myself.
Edit:
Just talked with him over Gtalk.
No change was announced from 32GB to 16GB.
He did say that the Razr saw some SD card size changes though.
I've noticed this too. However, on Amazon Wireless, the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is still listed as 32GB. (Links disabled due to my post count, sorry.)
Just last week it was listed as 32GB on VZW.
Looks like the below is 32GB, while it is pre-owned I've had good experiences with vzw pre-owned devices. Tough to beat the price:

I just bought my Galaxy Nexus from BestBuy about 3 days ago. I thought it was a 16GB version, like they all are. Apparently, it's 32GB... brand new. The guy looked at me as if I should have known that, since I was surprised I was getting twice the SD Space for the same price.
Not sure if I got lucky or what... but it's a brand new and 32GB.

There are 2 listings on Verizon - a 16gb with a full retail price of $499 and a CLNR 32GB for $229 no contract or free on contract. If it's a mistake, it's a pretty big one on Verizon's part.

Hii guys,
So ive been saving up some money to buy my new phone. I initially chose the GNex since it is cheaper and other stuff. I'm from india and i thought of buying it from ebay india.
Anyway now that LG nexus 4 release date is close(will it be released in india this november ??) i'm wondering if its still a good move to buy the GNex. I heard that the LG nexus 4 have 2 gb ram etc etc better specs than GNexus ?? Is that true ??
So, i thought of ordering Galaxy nexus this week. Is that a good choice ??
If someone could help me making my choice i would thank it very much
Thanks in advance
Use common sense....plus they pulled gnex from playstore
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Needing LTE or being on Verizon or any other CDMA network are the only two reasons to stay with the GNexus.
lolz.. with that spec and with that price and with you made it obvious... you still dont know the answer?? the spec are way too high than gnex. its a different case if already have a gnex, but since you didnt... oh well "go go for Nexus 4" lolz...
i'm a Nexus collector so i'm getting it while I can.

We don't know if the nexus 4 will launch in India or not. Or when it would launch, if it does. Most people say it would likely be priced at 25k but no one knows for sure.
If you are willing to wait for more than a month for a possible release (which may or may not even happen) or are ready to spend over 25k to order it online and have it shipped, then the nexus 4 is a good choice.
The galaxy nexus is available right now for pretty cheap but it isn't as good as the N4.

It would have been so awesome if they still offered the GNex for like $99 off contract, that would have downright incredible, but obviously would have cut sales from the N4.

The Nexus 4 has a better CPU, GPU, more RAM, slightly bigger and higher resolution LCD screen, wireless charging, and larger battery.
Yet unless something happens to my Galaxy Nexus I'm not upgrading because I've decided there are two things I love about the Galaxy Nexus that isn't available for the Nexus 4:
1) AMOLED screen. I don't care that it's pentile. Maybe my eyesight sucks because I can't tell the difference between pentile and non pentile 720P screens. I can tell the AMOLED screens produce colors I like.
2) Swappable battery. This is crucial for me.
With that said... I wouldn't spend more than $200-$230 on a used Galaxy Nexus... because let's face it... the Nexus 4 is still a beast of a device for the money.
even im eager to buy one here in India.. but i think u shud see this http://pricebaba.com/blog/coming-up-nokia-lumia-510-lg-l9-htc-8x-one-x
Expected price is around 30k in India.. not confirmed though.. Saw in some italian blog too that even there its going to be priced around 550 Euros according to some credible sources.. so if it costs more than double the amt compared with US, I think getting a Gnex makes sense or ask some one to get it from the US.
we are always deprived of all good things in the world or shud pay a lot to get them.. sucks
Hello!
I just ordered myself a Nexus and I am excited to get it. I'm an Android girl, loving my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.7 but I have been limping along with a Crapberry for a phone. My upgrade date finally arrived and since they were offering the Galaxy Nexus for FREE, I jumped on it.Grabbed an extended battery too. My second line has an upgrade coming in April so I figure if I wind up not liking it I can get something else then. I just couldn't resist getting a great Android phone with 32GB of built in memory and Jelly Bean for free. Do you think I made the right choice? Looking forward to checking out all the great custom ROMs!
I think you got a good deal I suppose.
Im on Verizon and did not want to lose my grandfathered unlimited data so I bought the phone without subsidy for 160 (new).
I still have an upgrade eligible if thats what one calls it - then they take my data away. bleh.

Yeah that sucks. I'm not a fan of tiered data plans at all! I'm on Sprint but their LTE service is already starting to roll out in my area so I'm happy. I have unlimited data and it'll be awesome once the roll out is complete in January.

I've had this phone for a few months now and I wouldn't trade it for anything else at this point. I had an op to get a SGS3 and decided to stay cause I love the pure Google experience above all else. Still got the SGS3 for the wife though It is a great phone. I run MMuzzys 4.2.1 ROM on it and it runs like a champ. Couldnt ask for more.
I agree, awesome deal. I just wish Sprint would hurry up and roll out LTE to Michigan (none in the metro Detroit area and we only have one city that has WiMax). I really love this phone and I hope you will as well

Can someone tell me why anyone would pay $350 - $400 for a new Galaxy Nexus when the Nexus 4 is already out? I see these phones selling like hotcakes on Ebay and Amazon for $375 on average. I own one and I own a Nexus 4. For the same price I would much rather have the 4 even if I had to wait a while. That's not to say the Galaxy Nexus isn't a good phone, I like it just fine, it's just that at the same price point it doesn't make sense to me to not get the 4 which is an upgrade in just about every hardware aspect.
I see them used still fetching $250 - $300 which I suppose is more reasonable but I would think $200 - $250 would be more appropriate for phones that have over a year old hardware and some light scuffing, etc..
Can someone enlighten me as to why this phone is holding onto so much resale value at this point?
I feel like I must just be missing something. Thanks.

Part of it is due to the higher original cost of a Galaxy Nexus. Also the N4 is very underpriced from Google Play. Optimus G is msrp of $549.
