HTC MHL-to-HDMI Adapter - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi -- I'm having a tough time finding an MHL-to-HDMI Adapter for the Galaxy Nexus around New York City, but there's an HTC-branded one that's widely available (for the Sensation) at T-Mobile shops. It _looks_ like it should work for the Galaxy Nexus. Does anyone know if it will?

Try going into a Verizon store they sell them and it will work with a GSM model

I just bought the Samsung MHL-HDMI adapter from Amazon for $15 bucks. Works great. Says its for the Galaxy S2 but it works great on our phone too. And matches it pretty well.

no works perfectly. I only bought it temporarily to test out HDMI mirroring and to wait for the one I bought for $10 on ebay to arrive.
Funny thing is that the sales guys said it would only work on the Sensation (since the package said it), but I knew better. When I returned it, the lady said "let me guess you tried this on the Galaxy nexus?" I said "Yes, but it worked perfectly, I just dont want it anymore"

Thanks for all the information, everyone. I ended up trying both Verizon's Galaxy Nexus adapter and T Mobile's Sensation one for my HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. Verizon's worked initially but then only intermittently; whereas T Mobile's works great despite officially only being for the HTC Sensation.

AT&T already announced their new hardware at CES, the Nexus is not one of the phones they're going to carry this year (instead, sort of) AT&T is gonna carry the Galaxy Note(LTE).
If you want a on-contract or "official US" Galaxy Nexus your 2 choices are Sprint or Verizon.

That is just pre order similar to other online sites like expansys... It is not available to buy now.
@negrielectronic on twitter estimate it to be available around Feb end.
There has been thread a week back on this already.

There's also MWC soon too. So there may be additional announcements.
This news (and the 16gb white model) has been out for a week by now. All the big importers are offering pre-orders of both.

If you have a younger brother or sister, give it to them. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
Not a fan of selling. Still have my first mobile phone Ericsson T-28s purchased in 1999.
Cell phones showed up back then in my country.

I'm actually looking for a used Nexus. Dropped mine, and i think the modem is busted. Can make calls but no data.
Been looking around Ebay, and 170-180 is what it seems like they'd be going for.
Do you still have yours? I wouldnt mind paying $190 total for a decent working replacement.

Best place for a new/used GSM Galaxy Nexus?

I made a poor poor mistake in buying an unlocked Galaxy S3 when my Galaxy Nexus crapped out on me. I've had it for a week & now its back in the box, as it just doesn't feel "right". I'd happily give up my new GS III for another Galaxy Nexus so I was wondering if anyone knows of any reputable places to get a new/used Nexus at a reasonable price? Unfortunately Craigslist isn't very active in my area, so that's a no-go. Any insight or help would be appreciated!
P.S. I boxed my new GS III so my inbox is open for any type of serious offers
eBay, Craigslist etc.
Op, you might try the classifieds or whatever they call it here on XDA.... Unless I'm thinking of Rootzwiki.

Swappa.com

In a one week span I sold VZW Galaxy Nexus, HP Touchpad and Droid Incredible on Swappa and purchased a GSM Galaxy Nexus with no issues at all. Everything is smooth and they are top notch. Don't waste your time at all on eBay or get gangbanged while meeting someone from craigslist.
The prices include the $10 buyers fee so honestly, what you see is what you pay. Couldn't be happier with them.

+1 for swappa. site tends to act slow though. must be built with ruby on rails. hehe.
Amazon.com isn't bad either, if you keep a close eye on the used listings. I got mine for $200 off Craigslist.
You have pm.

hit that thanks button if I helped you
Kogan.com.au had them for $339AUD last time i checked
I appreciate everyones suggestions so far -- To the people PM'ing me: I appreciate your interest in my S3, but I don't appreciate having time wasted - When you tell me your "interested", ask numerous questions & then just disappear, its a massive waste of your & my time. For those that's curious, it's a T-Mobike branded Marble White 16GB S3, however its been fully unlocked to run on & support AT&Ts HSPA+ network also. There's not a much as the smallest imperfection on the phone. Like I said, I'm open to any sensible trade involving a G-Nex, but prior to even Coming, you should already have some definitive idea of what you want to do.

[Q] Galaxy Nexus GSM Price?

Can someone tell me why anyone would pay $350 - $400 for a new Galaxy Nexus when the Nexus 4 is already out? I see these phones selling like hotcakes on Ebay and Amazon for $375 on average. I own one and I own a Nexus 4. For the same price I would much rather have the 4 even if I had to wait a while. That's not to say the Galaxy Nexus isn't a good phone, I like it just fine, it's just that at the same price point it doesn't make sense to me to not get the 4 which is an upgrade in just about every hardware aspect.
I see them used still fetching $250 - $300 which I suppose is more reasonable but I would think $200 - $250 would be more appropriate for phones that have over a year old hardware and some light scuffing, etc..
Can someone enlighten me as to why this phone is holding onto so much resale value at this point?
I feel like I must just be missing something. Thanks.
It's a Nexus and it's a Pentaband. It'll hold value.

I get that but isn't the Nexus 4 also a Pentaband Nexus? And it costs less brand new than the Galaxy Nexus does... Which is what doesn't make sense to me. Do you think it's worth more than the Nexus 4?

Part of it is due to the higher original cost of a Galaxy Nexus. Also the N4 is very underpriced from Google Play. Optimus G is msrp of $549.

Thank you. Do you recall how much the Galaxy Nexus was when it was sold as new from Google? I bought mine used about 8 months ago so I never checked out the retail price of a new one.
$600 at launch from carriers unlocked. Dropped to $300 via Google play later.

[Q] Considering buying this, will it work?

Title pretty much says it all.
Yep. Should work well with Note II. Can't say anything about quality etc. though, obviously.
I bought a cheap one for my Nexus tab and that works well with N2 too.

yes it will work...for sometime.
Ah, I'll buy it then.
Only reason I asked is because the USB OTG cable from my Nokia N8 didn't fit my Note 2.
