power off - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I dont know if there are any app that i can power off my phone without press the power button.sometime is a little hard to power off the cell.

Quickboot - this is what I've been using on both my tablets & DI2, nice & simple - boot normal, power off, bootloader or recovery (option to hide) - as a shortcut.

I'm sure there are others out there, it worked for me & it's saving wear-n-tear on the power button.

6) You will now see a triangle with an image on it
7) Hold the down Volume Down / Power and tap the Volume Up Button. then release all. ( Basic Logic derived from the orignal post was Select button is VOLUME UP thus - whereever Power Button is doing the selection in above post use Volume Up Button )
8) see the wipe / reset option now? Hit That option!
9) Now Wipe Cache
10) Reboot
11) Tadaaaahhhh!

CWM on One V :-\

Hi All,
I got thru the install of CWM recovery no problem, but when I get the menus - I have no idea how to select. (Seems like power = ESC), and the vol up / vol down are up / down arrow - but there is no enter / select.
--Adrian
got it
Figured it out - from the dev thread - toggle between the bottom / top (or top / bottom) menu items and it puts the power button as enter vs ESC.

Advanced Power Menu on stock UVLH1

How would one go about getting an advanced power menu on the stock UVLH1? Was hoping to add screenshots and options for restart.
If you flash the Toggles from Rushing's Galaxy_Rom thread it will give you a Reboot power toggle. The advanced power menu is only accessible via the toggle though. Using the power button will bring up the default menu.
You can use the Quick Panel Settings .apk to modify the toggles also.

I already have the toggle one. I was hoping to get it in the power menu if possible. Not a big deal either way.

Remap power button

Hello,
Recently at my xperia m my power button was broken and I can't reboot it/enter the power menu(well actually I can with adb or other apps but I don't want that).
Is there a way I can remap the camera button to the power button(when I'm saying power button I mean the default sleep/wake and the long press menu from which you can shutdown/reboot your phone)? I searched at google too but I didn't find anything useful for xperia m.
My phone is rooted with cm 12.1
Hope you can help me.
Maybe with Xposed Additions?
I don't have Xposed though, so I can't try it for myself and therefore can't know for sure this has everything you need.
Anyone knows this for sure?
Well this is a little late but you never know.
My power button broke down to and my phone was off, with a rooted custom rom and twrp installed.
I got it booted by using fastboot. For this, only volume+ key needs to be working.
Once booted, I set display timeout to a large value, just to make things a little easier while working on it.
Then I used adb to reboot into recovery.
In recovery, I flashed Xposed.
Rebooted back into system.
Installed XPosed Additions Xposed module, enabled it and rebooted once again.
Then using XPosed additions, mapped to volume+ button to take on the functionality of the power button.
( short press while screen off = power, long press while screen on = power menu).
Seems to work perfectly. I'm not turning my phone completely off anywhere in the near future though, because
booting it back up would be through fastboot again I guess (just to boot, no to install everything once again).

Wow thanks, been using GEM Xperia xposed which reboots the phone when you use wake up with volume keys after a reboot.
EDIT: Help! It doesn't work, and seems complicated. How do you set it up?
EDIT2: it's pretty much activator on iOS. The power thing Works great for me, but I can't get the power menu to trigger... But I am glad to see the meda next and back working with Youtube backgriund playback
My map in xposed additions is as follows (my camera button is gone as well, so my options are very limited )
Volume up:
-Lock screen
--click : checkbox unticked
--long press: media next
-screen off
--click: power
--long press: media next
-screen on
--click: checkbox unticked
--long press: power menu
Volume down
-Lock screen
--click: checkbox unticked
--long press power
-screen off
--click: checkbox unticked
--long press media previous
And then another xposed module to lock my phone by double tapping status bar, which does not work in the lockscreen (therefor volume down-lockscreen-long press = power)
Running on StryFlexa Marshmallow rom

Looking for Advanced Power Menu, Volume button music seeking, and power button torch

Hey Everybody
Currently running the newest version of PixelRom on Android 8.0.0 and was wondering if there were any flashable zips to add a few feature I'm really missing:
Advanced Power Menu Mod (That lets you reboot into recovery)
Using the volume buttons to change songs while the screen is off
Toggling Torch/Flashlight by holding the power button while the screen is off
If there is absolutely any way for me to add these to this rom I'll be ecstatic
Thanks in advance, love ya XDA
@jimbub: these features will come, so be patient...
For booting into recovery: look in devel.options, if you can enable terminal, or install a 3rd party terminal.
