??? I've used hancent since my first Android. The only time it "hogs ram" is if I use the popup notifications. Turn that off and it doesn't use any ram at all for me unless I actually "open" the app.

As you found out the stock mms.apk borks on wifi and large messages. Until that is fixed (if it ever is) what's the point? I spend a lot of time on wifi and would have to make sure to never send large messages. GoSMS has the ability to make your own theme.

Let me know if it works for you.
http://db.tt/yU4ZQnfV push to system/app, fix permissions and reboot.
Awesome! Only thing I don't like is that you can't swype to call or text that was very useful but it does come with emoij so that is good. I am downloading and installing now. Thanks bro.
I'd love to fix this issue with the AOSP Inverted MMS app.
Any interest in getting you to look at that one?
I'm sure it's the same issue as you had. FCs when you try to attach anything to MMS.

The Email/Exchange APKs transferred over flawlessly, but the MMS crashing when a pic was in the thread was unbearable.... it's working 100% just as the title says !
I am still stuck on the emojis here, I know they are stupid but bugging me lol. I I have 2 phones here and sending them to each other isn't work and same goes with I phone they will only get 1 or 2 of them.

Lmao u guys crack me up . I remove some stuff from aosp/cm based roms that I don't use but mostly just stuff that actively runs in the background like tvout or other things that like to autostart. I only do it cuz if i don't use it I don't see a point in wasting ram/CPU and battery on it just chilling in the background for no good reason. But that list is mostly stuff alot of ppl use, or is required for full functionality

On my evo everytime I would remove it I would get Google account sign in errors and the market would force close. I bet they changed it sometime around when market became play store, or maybe HTC set it up as a dependency in the framework.
