Sprint Galaxy Nexus confirmed to have a 1.2GHz SOC from Qualcomm. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I'm really disappointed from the latest "trend" to have different hardware on the same phone.

I'm really curious to find out the difference between exynos/mail and the adreno/1.5ghz. If anyone had chance to compare them CRITICALLY (since they would both fly imo lol) could you share your opinions? Thnks!

I have both this and a Sprint Galaxy S2 with the same Exynos/Mali is the international, and they seem fairly comparable.
I haven't noticed a big speed difference anywhere in day-to-day use in the few days that I've had both.

In the couple of days I've had both, I haven't been able to notice any consistent difference in anything except benchmarks. They really seem pretty similar.

Thank you couple more questions! Does the hercules have korean as a language option? And which of the 2 sgs2 do you reckon has a better sound output through headphones? I'm trying to find out whether it has wolfson or yamaha dac lol

I'm pretty sure all Galaxy S2 use the inferior Yamaha DAC. You'll have to go another manufacturer or last-gen to get Wolfson as far as I know.
I can't check for you on stock on language, but my Hercules running Juggernaut has Korean as a language option.

If one of them would have it, it should really be ours, which is a real oddball in the family.

SPH-L710 passes Wifi Cert. Any ideas?

The Epic Touch is SPH-D710 so what could this one be?
I am gonna go on a limb and say "L" for LTE. Maybe it is a LTE Epic Touch.

Ohh Good thought! I was trying to think what the L could be. Maybe it's the Nexus then?
It would be amazing if it was lte epic 4g touch Hd with exynos 1.5 =)
Hmmm...I'll update our store's cellebrite transfer machine on Sunday and see if any new phones are listed.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Obviously it is a modified version of our phone. I can't see sprint releasing both an lte touch and nexus since they serve almost the exact same form factor. It isn't the nexus because it has or model number. Probably a keyboard variant is my guess.

If it has LTE, Exynos, and the HD screen, I will buy it.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
Yeah, the L is likely LTE, which makes sense because Sprint isn't planning to release any new Wimax phones at this point.
There are some article out about galaxy S2 V2 being released in germany. The v2 is now said to run on a TI OMAP 4430 dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU instead of the original Samsung Exynos dual-core 1.2 GHz.

It's possible, but very doubtful. Note might be a ways away for Sprint. Verizon would have to come first

The Nexus 4 has a better processor and supposedly a better screen and camera. Plus the 2GB of ram vs 1GB ram in the Galaxy Nexus. The kicker is the Nexus 4 is 350.00 (16Gb) or 300.00 (8GB). I wonder if Google is gone drop the price of the Galaxy Nexus from 350.00 down to 275.00 or 250.00.
I bought my g-nex a month ago for $370...would have waited but I needed a phone and I didn't think Google would sell the new nexus for so cheap!
I do prefer the look of the galaxy nexus though...or maybe that's just my mind's defense mechanism to keep me from getting depressed =(

Difference of processors

Is there any difference from the processor of the note 2 from the s3 and note 10.1? Aside from it being overclocked by 200mhz of course I somewhat read before about something that says that ours has a rev.2 something. Inwas just curious for more information which is why I asked. Thanks!

I believe that is correct... in Europe/Asia. But I thought Samsung used a different chip for the US GS3.
Pretty sure the Note10.1 is the same though
EDIT: Nevermind! I somehow stumbled into the International GN2 forum... not sure how.
The US GS3 uses a Qualcomm dual core

While I don't place all that much emphasis on benchmarks, I must admit that I was wondering why the gs4 seemed to perform so much higher than others... Doesn't take away from the fact that the phone CAN perform tasks those levels. Just that doing so on a regular basis would undoubtedly reduce battery life to some degree.
Waiting for someone to call this "benchmark-gate" or something along those lines. Or perhaps Apple will find some obscure reason to file a patent lawsuit over this..
