so far so good! thanks Ice! im looking at undervolting it now and see how it performs. using it with petes 2.3.7 now. want to try it with your rom but want to keep google wallet running on a 2.3.7 rom lol! awesome work again!
I've only recently switched to the Nexus and have been getting dismal battery life (literally, 6 hours or so with light usage.)
Anyway, I will certainly be trying this out! Thanks for all your hard work!

I had same issue when I first got my ns4g, but after settling in on a rom and conditioning my battery, I'm consistantly getting about 18 hours of usable time. And I consider myself a fairly heavy user.....streaming Pandora and MLB, lots of browsing, texts, twitter etc..... and averaging about 4 hours of screen on time.

flashed this morning just fine, everything else seems aok. great addition to the nexus legacy.
thanks
Just flashed awhile ago and so far so good. I like the additional governors
First boot takes a while people so be patient.
Running CM7-Stable.
Is this a CM 2.6.35.14 based kernel?
Anyone got a working link? Thanks in advance.

Comment:
Running this on CM7 Stable RC 7.1.0 and using the stock setting of SmartAssv2 governor I had to bump the bottom Mhz from 100 to 200 to stop lockups on my device....
Of course we know kernels can vary from device to device but it seems like it didn't like having to wake from 100 Mhz.
Looks interesting!
Question: How does the touch-wake feature impact the battery life? Anybody notice a significant difference?

I've glitched my phone before haha. i once got 140 MFLOPS in linpack haha.

It deals with the kernel.
Listen Samurai may not show benchmark scores up high but it performs better trust me. a score is a score nothing real.

All in all I'm at 4100+ on antutu I think I still have the title on that benchmark for the epic, that's me at 4137 ;-) pics forthcomming. Still a noob trying to post pics to this forum from my phone.
My quadrant standard is at 2800 (which is mos def not the highest score but its a legit 2800-2900) and my linpack is at 26.5 on average. And its a daily driver I save battery by using an app called 2x battery, it kills the data connection when the screen is off, it helps a little. I. Don't believe in profiles on voltage control or set cpu.

It should because if you use the correct governor it will ensure that the second CPU is in sleep mode unless it is needed to process phone requests. I have used Agat's kernel with ICS Roms like FreeGS3 and it has run great.

SmartassV2 or Lulzactive

Hello guys what do you think which is the best governor for battery life and performance with ROW I/O scheduler? SmartassV2 or Lulzactive? Thanks
Actually, it depends, on you.
I can't say SmartAssV2 is the best vice versa. Because even if we have the same type, same ROMs, and same apps, and same usage. There will be a difference of how we feel about it. You'll have to try those 2 all by yourself.
As for me, I use SAv2.. It seems lulzactive didn't go well with me.
--Ancora/CM9RC4--
For me, i prefer on smartassv2 because some lulzctive in the governor of wonder are less tweaked than smartassv2 that is for my opinion though.
If i'm not mistaken custom kernels on wonder default governor are most likely smartassv2, why not lulzactive? Because maybe is not ready yet or not tweaked enough to beat the smartassv2 for now.
This is just my opinion though.

Which CPU Governor do you use?

Hello GN2 Users,
So I've recently been playing with my CPU settings and I've been messing with different governors.
My question to you all is which governor do you like to use and why?
I like On Demand because it seems to give me the same performance with better battery life. But this is purely observation. I haven't done any benchmarking to actually test it yet.
Please add your input!

Sorry about that. Where would the proper place for this be?
What do you use to toggle different governors? I use ROM Toolbox Pro, and it doesn't have the ZEN or many of the other Android governors that I've read about. Is there a way to add new governors?

Govs are part of your kernel. ..not your control app.
Different roms will contain those kernel governors, or you could find a compatible kernel to go with your current rom....g
