I don't know.
If sprint's rom/kernels running on it this might run as well
But try it at your own risk.

Already yes

Same here, I was really just waiting for source so I knew a custom kernel was close behind the roms

Version 0.2.0 is up and running,
Added few governors, hotplug support, Updated to linux 3.0.35.
Enjoy.

Does this support custom voltages? If so, what would be the recommended app for adjusting them

Agat, will you be updating this so that we can OC and UV in the future, I know that this is just the second version on JB but I loved what you did with the ICS version. Thanks in Advanced TIA.

Of course and that's the only governor that exhibits it so far in my testing.

So does this give better battery?

It should because if you use the correct governor it will ensure that the second CPU is in sleep mode unless it is needed to process phone requests. I have used Agat's kernel with ICS Roms like FreeGS3 and it has run great.

I was playing around with this this morning, and installed it over my MIUI ROM. I wiped Dalvik first, and flashed it. MIUI didn't really like it, even though I was using jcase's 1.8 ghz CM7 kernel with it. It caused it to bootloop (or what appeared to be a bootloop), but came out of it and loaded the ROM after about 6 loops. It ran fine after that, but then on a reboot, caused a ton of lag.
I now have it running on CM7 fine. I didn't overclock it, and am getting 2200 Quadrant scores running the 'lagfree' gov. Very snappy.
I know this is probably a pretty general question, but how does this kernel compare to the stock CM7 kernel?

That sig highlights the conquests of user JDKoreclipse aka rr12106, droidhacker26, m0rt4l s0ul, romflash, & k_chupe.
This is relevant because the kernel in this thread is being hosted at jdkoreclipse.com.

I understand that, but I have been working with him for over 6 months and he has helped me learn when most people wouldn't even respond. He has been trying to make good with all he did in the past but no one will give him a chance. Well hell I don't need to apologize for him- so read this POST Now back to the kernel. I will be taking over development of this very soon, maybe this weekend.

I had same issue when I first got my ns4g, but after settling in on a rom and conditioning my battery, I'm consistantly getting about 18 hours of usable time. And I consider myself a fairly heavy user.....streaming Pandora and MLB, lots of browsing, texts, twitter etc..... and averaging about 4 hours of screen on time.

Comment:
Running this on CM7 Stable RC 7.1.0 and using the stock setting of SmartAssv2 governor I had to bump the bottom Mhz from 100 to 200 to stop lockups on my device....
Of course we know kernels can vary from device to device but it seems like it didn't like having to wake from 100 Mhz.
Looks interesting!
Question: How does the touch-wake feature impact the battery life? Anybody notice a significant difference?

[KERNEL][16 DEC] GLaDOS for ICS

GLaDOS for ICS
Based on GLaDOS V1.9 + Koush's ICS kernel patches.
Comes with all features of GLaDOS V1.9 plus debugging enabled and init.d support (thanks Flo).
Known issues:
1. BT is activated on boot and not soft blocked with rfkill when disabled. This causes only the DEEP IDLE state with TOP=ON to be used. You can manually disabled BT with 'echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/bt_rfkill/rfkill/rfkill0/soft' using the terminal or adb shell, however this will break the BT switch until the next reboot. This is a problem with the ICS alpha ROM and I have informed Koush about it.
2. USB mass storage might not work on Linux machines or older OS without making some configurations on the OS side first; it did work ootb with Windows 7.
I am currently running this kernel with Koush's ICS CM9 alpha 11 release as my daily driver and I cannot guarantee it will work on other ROMs (chances are good
though).
As always I do not support OC/UV and if you decide to do so, you are on your own, however try raising the bus/GPU with Live OC (I currently use an OC value of 125) and with the new hardware-acceleration in ICS you can see the UI fly.

Few pointers: why do you have swap? We don't need bloody swap in this devices. BFQ scheduler? BFQ is for rotational devices, we have flash devices. Why SLAB and no SLQB or SLUB? Why smartass2? Smartass2 isn't working good, even after changing the tunables for SMP. Why interactiveX? We already have interactive and it already has a built-in sysfs screen off freq parameter. Lagfree governor? It looks like Minmax to me.
Merry christmas!
i don't have any tech knowledge about kernels and such so i can't comment on franco's input but i have to agree with lordofcamster;
i'm too running the latest MCR release and together with this kernel the thing is really smooooth; oc'ed at 1350 ( 1125 uv ) with interactiveX governor
batterylife seems pretty ok too; i'm trying to drain the battery to see how much screen time i can get...
so far 2hrs + some minutes screen on and i'm down to 56% battery;
( in between i restarted the phone 5 times )

Few pointers: why do you have swap? We don't need bloody swap in this devices. BFQ scheduler? BFQ is for rotational devices, we have flash devices. Why SLAB and no SLQB or SLUB? Why smartass2? Smartass2 isn't working good, even after changing the tunables for SMP. Why interactiveX? We already have interactive and it already has a built-in sysfs screen off freq parameter. Lagfree governor? It looks like Minmax to me.
Merry christmas!

I know it might not sound like it, but Franco means well.

[KERNEL][4.3/4.4][AOSP] ¤ BMS ¤ d2tmo 3.4.y [2014-08-03]

With morfic's blessing, here's the continuation of the Trinity kernel in another form for AOSP Jellybean 4.2.
This was originally mainly developed for the Verizon SGS3, but some requests for a different versions were sent in. This is a blind build as I do not have a T-Mobile unit to test with. However, it has been tested and should work on T-Mobile.
Some highlights:
Code:
- Based on CM10.1 source
- Built with latest Linaro GCC 4.7 with optis
- Ramdisk tweaked (init.d support, unsecure)
- OC up to 1.836Ghz
- Stock GPU (OC makes no difference)
- Undervolted
- User voltage control
- Trinity colors
- Defaults to tweaked ondemand governor and row scheduler.
-- Available for user
--- Governor
---- msm-dcvs, interactive, conservative, ondemand, performance, wheatley, smoothass2, badass, asswax, dancedance, smartmax, ondemandplus
--- Scheduler
---- noop, deadline, row, cfq, sio, sioplus, bfq, zen
- USB Fast Charge (credit to imoseyon and chad)
- fsync control (credit Ezekeel)
- Removal of mpdecision, uses tweaked auto_hotplug driver (credit to thalamus)
- Removal of thermald
- fix_permissions added to zip
- CM wifi tether WPA/WPA2 secure support
- Faux sound mod support
To install (no need to wipe anything):
- Download .zip below and place on your internal or external sdcard
- Reboot into CWM or the recommended TWRP
- Flash .zip
- Reboot
Notes:
- If you do not default to ondemand/row, check your /system/etc/init.d/ for startup scripts or the /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh file to see if it's writing interactive/cfq to the scaling_governor and the scheduler.
I've pushed my build towards battery savings and it's been handling duties pretty well. Let me know how it works out for you. As with all things custom, please take all precautions (backups). Tested against CM, AOKP, BB7 and Carbon so far. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
Feel free to use your preferred kernel app for adjustments.

[KERNEL][JB42][AOSP] ¤ BMS ¤ d2tmo 3.0.y + 3.4.y 2013-05-12 Build
I am not the Dev of this kernel. I am simply a fan who wishes to share this awesome kernel with my fellow T-mobilites. GideonX has graciously agreed to 'port' us a version he originally created for the Verizon GS3 for our devices.
I've been using it for about two days and it's been very responsive and very battery friendly.
As I stated, I am just the messenger and not the Developer. Give all the thanks, donations and kudos to him. Please post and bugs and feedback and I will pass them on to him. He is quite busy so no etas please. Please treat this as a development thread. Thank you.
So without any further ado, I present the awesome BMS Kernel...

About to flash, and will report findings. Been on stock cm kernel 4.2.2 for 3 days now with no issues (apart from cm issues) so changes will be obvious. Seriously looking forward to seeing Trinity color again. Thanks to op, morfic and GideonX

This Kernel has been working great with Liquid's 4.2.2. Only one that hasn't given me some type of annoying bug/problem. Anxious for the new version with voltage control. Thanks for your hard work :good:

The "Electrifying Posterior" Build 2013-02-20 - http://goo.gl/rTstL
- Sync'd to latest CM source
- User voltage control
- Added Wheatley, Smoothass2, Badass, Asswax
- cpu1 offlining/onlining adjustments via auto_hotplug
- Removal of debug and sec_debug, kernel went on a small diet.

O.P. Updated. Enjoy~
On a side note, the Dev suggested Wheatley/Row for governor settings... I've been using it for the last day or so and it's working really well.

Easiest way is to use a kernel app. I'm using Trickstermod from the play store, works just fine.
Edit: You can also turn it off and on by using terminal emulator and issuing either:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge (on)
or
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge (off)

I can't seem to get the setting to stick on boot with trickster mod "no frillz works fine"
Outside of that I'm running the kernel with Wheatley and row with tls's root box and couldn't be happier.
This is the only kernel I've flashed that I haven't had issues with .
So thanks again

No frillz it is then
Hello friends... I just flashed this having Liquid 4.2.2 and I am still getting the T-Mobile page when using the tethering. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
BTW I have been doing some research and this seemed to be a possible solution but no luck.
