[Q] Galaxy S alarm clock/timer/stopwatch on G2

Hey guys,
I had been using the samsung vibrant for a few months until yesterday when i got the update and my phone was bricked in the process, i decided to go to the tmobile store and pick up the G2 and just sell the vibrant they are sending me for replacement. So far I am more than happy with the g2 except i do miss a few programs/options of the vibrant.
the main program i miss is the all in 1 super easy alarm clock, timer stopwatch from my vibrant. I am just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to get that apk from a vibrant rom and put it on the g2. And if its possible can someone help me get it?
thanks alot

Sounds like the clock app from sense UI. A stopwatch app just like it is in the market. don't recall the name of the top of y head.
would said alarm work with googles voice action "set alarm to.."?
Attached is the stock clock from T959UVJI6 (the latest update from T-Mobile). I have no idea if it will work so don't complain to me if it breaks something
Well I guess that woulda been too easy....
it wont let me install it. Im guessing with root i could push it over but its not working as it is.
thanks for the help tho gravis

Stock Apps Download

Hi all,
I have CM9 on my i9300, but I miss the stock alarm software which had the ability to have a pre-alarm go off for a few minutes with a rather relaxing nature soundbyte.
I was wondering if:
There's a download of stock apps for me to push to the phone
or
Anyone knows which apps I should grab from the .tar file i've got of the most recent O2 UK ROM from SamFirmware.
Thanks in advance
wakeVoice alarm. Some feature; You can do some maths before the alarm goes off.

[Q] Friggin alarm not working on every rom I try...

Hi, im getting really frustrated here...sorry for the title.
I used the search function and came out with basically nothing, at least in Q&A.
Tried few different kernels, endless roms on my ARC S and for some effing reason the alarm is not working on eachone of them.
Either i cannot select the ringtone or the ringtone is simply silent...
Is it something that has to do with latest firmwares on ARC S or simply that the rom was designed for lt15 and not lt18i?
Can someone give me an explanation and possible a solution to all this mess, i find it hard to believe that every rom out there has bugged alarm functions.
Many thanks
Have you tried any 3rd party alarm from the play store, do these work, if they do it could be that the alarm app is messed up.

Delete the existing alarm/s and add a new one. You'll be able to select a new ringtone then.

REQ : Custom App Notifications

Hey guys, especially devs,
Is anyone able to do a flashable zip for Custom App Notifications like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger etc.?
So that it pops up on lock screen like a sms notification?
I want to use it on all roms, so please dont write "USE VIPER".
Thank you

I join this movement. +1 Somebody should be able to look into it, this really has been my main point of dissapointment from the HTC one.
I'd like this too. Stinks we're limited to email, phone, sms and calendar.
Yep I also would love the tweak. really. It makes those apps more integrated into system.
Would be kind if these devs who already did it, will share it for the community.
Please post it in the threads!!
If I'm not mistaken.. viper have this feature.. and if I noticed right only they have it back in HOX day..

I don't like pop-ups that much so I use NotifierPro Plus from Google Play. That works with basically any app and is similar (but better IMO) to iOS' current banner notification system.
+1 ...
even i liked it when i was using the viper rom. Currently i am use trickdroid and i would love to have that feature in this... I have requested for that feature in the trickdroid thread. You guys too come and request. hope he gets convinced by the demand and adds in his next release...

[Q] Alarm with ascending volume?

Just moved over to the One M7 and am running ViperOne.
So far so good except I can't see any way to set the alarm to start at a low volume and increase.
I know there's a ton of alarm clocks in the Market that have the feature, but many of them do way more than I want...
Am I overlooking the option in ViperOne, or are there any recommendations on a simple alarm that can do this?

Thanks for the suggestion...I am always wary of free apps that ask for too many permissions, and that one apparently requires access to your email accounts...and all the ones I have seen have folks complaining that they recently stopped working or were unreliable.
Went for a simpler fix - Audacity + my alarm sound + volume envelopes = just what I wanted.
Now instead of a 20 second alarm sound, I have a 5 minute one that ramps up gently for the first two minutes.
Been using Alarm Clock Plus for years; has served me well.
