Build prop - Acer Iconia Tab A100

Does anyone have the original build prop file for a100 thought I backed it up..

Ill have to pull it off my tablet but if you want to quickly get it back just flash any of the update.zip in the rom thread and itll put your tablet and files back to stock. It wont affect non stock app youve installed. And If you're rooted you will need to reroot after. If you prefer the file I will post it later.

i finally did it.

Im on AOKP M5 and I finally soft bricked into bootloop. I accidentally erased the frameworks-res.apk and before I had a chance to put another one back in everything shutdown and forced closed. I know I can odin and start over, but i was wanting to know if there is a way to push the framework file back with out having to start from scratch?

That's why you make it framework-res.bak and not delete it, then paste in the modified one and set permissions.
Congrats!

Well I had no intentions of deleting or replacing files at the time. All I wanted to do was copy it. But never mind, I found out how the hard way. thanks for the help.

This happened to me once before and i was able to get it back by using droid explorer to copy the framework back. First odin the EL26 stock CWM kernel also download FD26_AOSP.zip as well then once you are in CWM go ahead and open Droid Explorer then find the framework-res.apk from AOKP M5 and drag it to the correct folder system/framework/. at this time grab your phone and do a fix permission under the advance tab in CWM, also drag that kernel anywhere in your sd card so that you can flash it and make AOKP bootable.
Once you get into CWM and if droid explorer does not detect your phone, please find the "Reboot" option in CWM and then replug in your phone to your pc and Droid Explorer should now see it
Good luck! i know this seems like a lot and it might just be easier to odin back to EL29 and start over.
cant he just odin to el26cwm and reflash the rom to replace the files he "accidentally deleted" then reboot?

Adb and push the file, or make it flashable.

I thought about this and quickly decided that this seems too risky. Considering I modded a few things and they won't work nice with some of the files in the original build.

I read about that but couldn't figure out how to adb in the timeframe I needed. I odined el26 and recovered a nandroid I don't like to have a actual working phone. I'll start from scratch later. Thanks for everyone who tried to help. Too bad the smart asses distracted me from the help.
You have a crappy attitude

EMERGENCY oh crap EMERGENCY

While trying to get my google wallet working again.......I used the wrong build.prop.......or one I thought was good.
Now my phone gets to the galaxy S3 start page......then goes black and sits there.
I tried a factory reset......still the same thing.....now what do I do?
restore ur backup. u should have a backup if ur going to mess with the build prop
If you were foolish enough to change the build prop without making a backup then here is your steps. Go to sammobile.com and download the official firmware for your S3. Download odin if you dont have it already. Unzip the firmware file, open odin, make sure it connects to your phone. You will see com3 in yellow when it connects. Click pda navigate to the firmware file double click on the md5 file. Make sure repartition is NOT checked. Then click go or next I cant remember which and it will flash you back just like it came out the box....
Good luck

Your only option is going back to stock with Odin and starting all over. You can save a step and find rooted stock thread (do search) and you will already be able to flash recovery.
Next time make sure you know what you're doing before you mess with build prop file.

twrp recovery, how can I go back to full stock?

I want to go back to full stock because I have to take the phone to the sprint store, is there an easy way to do this with a flashable file through twrp? I want the stock recovery and firmware and no root.

Don't think it's currently possible through twrp. You need to lgnpst. There's a thread about it here somewhere. I'll post back if I find it.
*edit*

Try that out. Not sure if you should use those .bin's you may need the zvb one.

Use this .bin instead of the zv9 or zv7.

[Q] Help on reverting my I747 back from a T999 convert?

So, a while back, i decided to convert my ATT galaxy s3 to a tmobile build so i could run LTE from tmobile on it. Now, my problem is, i want to revert back to full att again, in which i have tried, but im getting something wrong (Status 7 errors and what not, i feel related to the changeover) and i don't want to brick my phone trying over and over. I could use some help with what ill need to FULLY get back to at least stock so i can root and install a fresh kitkat rom. Any help is appreciated!
I attached a screen of my build as well.
How exactly did you go about this? What were the zips you used to do this? What zips are you trying to flash? These are all things that can help us out in figuring out what went wrong.
Well i had read around of a test rom created especially for tmobiles GS3 variant that ran on att in order to run their LTE. So i flashed that rom and i believe custom kernels and a modem. Only thing is i cant backtrack what i did and the original files i used are lost.
Anybody? Hehe I really need to get to a computer soon ..
That's an easy fix.
Odin back to a stock 4.1.x, rooted or unrooted.
Then on first boot hold volume up + home button and to a factory reset. Done.
PS: make sure you're not running 4.3 OTA latest bootloader or you will get a semi reversible brick.

Ok awesome! Ill look up the odin stock guide on here....but you daid it jad tp be 4.1.x right? And what about updating it later on?
Also, as another option, what would I be able to flash it to to keep it in its current tmobile state but updated to a shiny new rom.
Your cwm is out of date.
Update your recovery at that error will go away when flashing

So ive succesfully fladhed back to stock att 4.1.1 and rooted it. Flashed in CWM Touch too. Now Im trying to update to a custom rom and its telling me that my device is a d2vzw in the recovery log then status 7. Any takes on that? Heres a screen.
Alright! All is well as I've finally gotten it flashed to gummy 4.4. Its running so smooth...thank you guys for the help!

what good is a backup

what good is a back up of any kind if i cant ever get this phone re reboot back into recovery once i am in a bootloop.
buttons dont work, adb dont see the phone and the backup gets erased when i restore with a tot. so what good is a backup.
MOD EDIT: Removed foul language. Let's keep the language clean.

What are you doing to put your self into a boot loop?
Have you tried up and power... Using factory reset which will throw you into recovery.

i dont know what to do from here but i am going to take a break before i throw this thing at the wall for real.
Welcome to the LS980 struggle. ZVA and ZVC radios break Loki. You need to downgrade your aboot to get things working. My personal recommendation? If you don't have Spark in your area, tot back to ZV8 to use AOSP. Just read up in the dev section for all the caveats.
