Flash the P49IMG.zip. We should pin one of these onto sticky so people don't keep posting the same thing.

So,I tried installing CM10 following instructions from lloirs thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835285).
I flashed the boot.img in the first step because he says it is a better option.
After that I proceeded to flash the CM10 zip file, but the install failed.
After that my phone wouldn't boot, so I did a restore from CWM and now my phone is stuck on the HTC One screen for a good half an hour.
Please help. Really need the phone tomorrow.

Which ROM would be safe? Because I used the correct Kernel with this as well. Think I should go with the CM9?
for time being use rc 5.0..With kiss kernel.. full wipe first

Since it persists across ROMs, it could very well be a hardware problem. When did the problem start? Did it get damaged or anything?
hi
it didnt get damaged...i save my phone as my baby... i really dont know why did it happen? i really upset...i have no idea what can i do? ots a really annoying problem...
i think its a software problem because the phone didnt get damaged
flash stock rom....
if problem still persists.....
its hardware problem.......go to htc customer care.............
thanks for answer
1. where can i download a stock ROM? i need to install this ROM as usual via recovery?
2. i dont have a warranty of HTC because the phone is 2 years old

I rooted it with CMW Supersu and it was version 2.17.111.3
Hold power button and volume down when the phone is booting, then you will get into recovery mode.

Oops. You have messed up few things. I think you're not properly rooted. There is a guide for rooting willy with hboot 1.01.001 and u should try that.
Or go to htcdev . Com and unlock your bootloader

1) that "unrevoked" method wont work for you because its for phones bought before june 2011 and have "android cupcake 1.6" rather than "android gingerbread 2.2.1"
2) i suggest you to root your phone. But there is a much much easier way. And that is to go to htcdev . Com and unlock bootloader. I wont root your phone completely but will allow installation of custom recoveries and Roms.
3) Battery drainage is a hardware problem and almost everyone in this forum has it. My battery never gets above 70%.
Some people had it fixed by calliberating and that is done either by an app or Clockworkmod Recovery.

I must correct you sir, htc wildfire came with android 2.1 eclair and was upgradable to 2.2.1 froyo. This phone never saw an official htc version of cupcake or gingerbread. Cupcake was outdated when the phone was released and htc denied the wildfire could run gingerbread without a gpu. Cyanogenmod 7 was android 2.3.7 gingerbread.
To OP. You need to use revolutionary to s-off your device. Then you can use fastboot to flash your recovery. Root is not needed by you.
