[Q] LG-P930 Optimus LTE can't get AT&T LTE connectivity? - LG Nitro HD

I've spent most of yesterday and today trying to get LTE on Bell Mobility's version of the Nitro. APN configuration, SIM card, account provisioning have all been taken care of yet the phone cannot connect to LTE. Is there something I'm missing? H+ is hooking up fine but LTE is non-existent. I've been in touch with Bell and AT&T's tech support, customer service. mlee1999 (prior owner who was able to get LTE) has also been kind enough to try and help me out with this.
Thoughts anyone?

My only guess is that Bell and Rogers are using AWS 1700 MHz for their LTE networks. AT&T is using 700 MHz and thus is not compatible or 700 MHz is not enabled by default.

LiViD is correct about the frequencies but the Optimus LTE has 700 and 1700 turned on.
There is something else I went through with my Optimus LTE:
When i got my phone, my SIM was an LTE SIM, my Optimus LTE was an LTE handset, and my account was provisioned to a 1GB Data plan, but by some fluke, Bell only allows LTE on the $70+ 6GB plans and no other. I upgraded to the 6GB plan and rebooted my handset and presto! LTE came up.
One other thing is, are you in a LTE area or a fringe zone? might sound like a stupid question, i know.
Oh, and did you call AT&T to add this phone to the account, or just throw in your LTE SIM card?? Most carriers now require you to give them the ESN for LTE handsets to be activated on the LTE network.
Could I request you check my post out please? If you could help we'd be most appreciative!!

All provisioning on my account was confirmed with ATT. I also had them check ATT LTE in my area and they confirmed I should be able to get it.
Love to help you with the other thread but I've never pulled those files. Some brief instructions via PM and I'll give it a try.

or this:

Seen the first link and it didn't work. Just tried the second link and it caused a FC when trying to connect.
I just got off the phone with AT&T and they can't do anything with an unlocked device. They did look into to it to see if they could assist but since it's not a branded device, they couldn't do much. The tech did say that she could not see APN settings on her side which leads me to believe that without it being set I will not see LTE. As a little bit of background, I'm coming from an iPhone and have switched directly to the Optimus LTE. I had to go thru all the changing/updating and provisioning of my account and even replaced the SIM card all to no avail.

You'll probably have to wait for either a Radio ROM to be released or for someone to unlock the 700 MHz frequency within the factory OS ROM itself.

Not so sure about that since mlee1999 was able to get an LTE connection. Only difference is he was not coming from an iPhone.

cman6453,
You could try flashing the Nitro baseband to your phone and see if that does the trick. Make sure to back yours up first (and make sure mmcblk0p14 is, in fact, your baseband firmware partition).

Was there any evidence provided from mlee1999 saying that he was connected via LTE and not HSPA+? Something sounds questionable about that. If AT&T is using 700 MHz and Bell is using AWS 1700 MHz, that Bell phone would not work on AT&T's LTE network. Sure the device can be unlocked, but that won't unlock the baseband frequencies.

Well, i can assure you now that the 700Mhz band is operational with AT&T via this link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_frequencies
These settings are confirmed to access the AT&T LTE Network:

also found this, if it helps:
http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=35078&cv=820#fbid=KTYJmxElqKy
and this post shows a user accessing the LTE via another AT&T APN setting for cingular:

I personally doubt that the phone is the problem (aside from the APN settings), I am leaning towards the carrier being the problem on this one (either APN issues or something on their backend).
I will keep hunting to try and help you.

I went out today and added a second line to my account. I even picked up a Nitro (going back tomorrow) to do more "research". As soon as I got home, I switched the Nitro SIM to the Optimus. No LTE. As a matter of fact, no data at all. As soon as I switched the Nitro SIM back into the Nitro all was fine and dandy.
My goal for this exercise was to be able to switch, EASILY, between an iPhone 4S and an LTE device. Well, doesn't look like that's going to happen. Even if I got the LTE to work switching back and forth would be too much work given how randomly I switch between devices.
So I've pretty much exhausted this experiment. Thanks to all that put in there 2 cents!!
Rep - I also think it's something on their backend that's preventing LTE from lighting up. I originally thought, put the microsim in an adapter, pop it into the LTE capable device and off I go...BUT noooooooo, 3 days of pecking and hunting and big brother beats me...DAMMIT! I'll live to fight another day!!

When I first tried LTE phone I also didn't have internet at all (though as phone it worked fine), I had to call ATT to activate my sim card on their end.

Quick summary of the steps I went thru to try and get the Optimus to connect to AT&T LTE.
1. Confirmed I was in an LTE area.
2. Changed my AT&T plan to an LTE data plan.
3. Confirmed APN settings on it were the same as that found on the Nitro.
4. Changed my SIM to a "70357" SIM. That's the SKU for the SIM that they're using on their LTE devices. I checked the Nitro that I purchased and VOILA, same type SIM.
5. Confirmed my new AT&T plan was associated to the IMEI for the Optimus.
When I swapped the SIM from the Nitro, I thought I was finally going to be in LTE heaven. Nope. Not a chance but I do have a good idea on what the problem is/was.
The Nitro's IMEI was associated with that specific SIM. I went thru this process when I initially changed my plan to accomodate the Optimus. The CSR asked for the IMEI AND the UICC from the SIM. Apparently AT&T's system doesn't recognize the Optimus' IMEI. The CSR mentioned that but was able to leave the IMEI as-is. I confirmed the IMEI was not recognized by going into an AT&T store and a CSR there noticed that my account was using a "regular" GSM phone when I asked about no LTE on the Optimus.
SO.....what I'm thinking was that since the Nitro's SIM was associated with the Nitro, when I placed it into the Optimus AT&T's system noticed the UICC of the SIM was not associated to the appropriate IMEI so it was denied access to LTE. Vice-versa with my original SIM when I placed that into the Nitro. As soon as I returned the SIM's to their usual devices, LTE returned for the Nitro. WHEW!!
Moral of the story: iPhone and LTE devices, at the moment, take a lot of work to swap out regularly. So, for now, I'll be sticking with H+ devices and going along my merry way.

In case anyone was still curious, here is the definitive answer on the Optimus LTE's AT&T LTE connectivity! I am on vacation back home visiting family in Illinois, and decided to bring my Optimus LTE along for the trip, to see if I got LTE in Chicago. The line is provisioned with LTE data, and has an LTE compatible SIM.
This makes me happy, because that means now I can import other devices with the 700Mhz or 1700Mhz LTE bands and be able to use them on AT&T's network!

Unlocked Issues

I have an HTC TouchPro 2 that I bought from T-Mobile here in the US. While I now have an account with T-Mobile, I was able to get this with no contractual committment. I also happen to have an AT&T Fuze with an account at AT&T. Originally, I wanted to move my cell service to T-Mobile, as I can get the same service for about $30-$40 less per month from T-Mobile than I pay AT&T. However, I have discovered that T-Mobile does not have nearly the data network speed that AT&T does. I can get 3G from T-Mobile, but not nearly as widely as I can with my AT&T phone and service. Consequently, I would like to convert the phone to AT&T. I have unlocked the phone, and upon moving the SIM card from the Fuze to the TP2 I can make AT&T calls with my AT&T number, but moving the SIM card doesn't get me connected to the AT&T data network. I finally figured out how to connect, but I can't get 3G to work.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
AT&T and T-Mobile use different 3G frequencies. So your T-Mobile TP2 is not compatible with AT&T 3g frequencies. The best you will get with your AT&T sim in there is EDGE.
Same problem in Oz...
Telstra uses Next-g network - 850Mhz...
Everyone else uses 3G - 900Mhz...
We have the Touchpro 2 Model 7373 (3G) and the 7381 (Next-G)...
Telstra sim in a 7373 variant means edge service but another carrier uses 3G.
Vice Versa in a 7381 model...
Bloody annoying... Should use ALL frequencies, that would be easier, especially as it say 850 - 1800 Mhz on the band page...
Oh, well....
Not exactly what I had hoped to hear. Thanks for the answer. I guess my next step should be to see if there is any hope for T-Mobile to improve their data coverage.

HEADS UP: Rogers Optimus G (LG-E971) not compatible with Bell LTE

In Canada, I am unable to get my Rogers LG-E971 to connect to Bell's LTE network. Talked with Bell technical support and they said that the phone is not reporting LTE capability. I even messed around in the service menu (use 971 instead of 973 or 970 in the code) and enabled the bands that bell uses, still no go. I can't even return the phone now, because I had to unlock it to try it on Bell.
Bell sells the LG-E973. I bought the Rogers because Bell will not sell new phones without selling/renewing a plan along with the phone.
So, to sum up, don't go buying a Rogers Optimus G hoping to get LTE to work on Bell (or Telus, I assume) after unlocking. You'll be out your $700 because shops won't accept the return if the phone has been unlocked.
Edit: Forgot to say, I get 4G HSPA speeds (pulling 15Mbps down on speedtest compared to 30Mbps down on a friend's iPhone 5 LTE connection) on Bell.
Confused
i got the g for rogers aswell.. are you saying that rogers doesnt provided lte?
my signal says 4g... thought that meant LTE??
and your right.. i get 14mb down.. is supposed to be 30???

from speedtest videos, it's supposed to have an lte icon when it's on lte. you can check which network it's on by checking settings->about phone->status (or something along those lines, i don't have the phone in front of me at the moment).
You should be able to get LTE on rogers, if you're not you need to check your coverage at http://www.rogers.com/web/content/w...nsumer_Wireless_Eng-_-Network_0909-_-coverage
My personal issue is just that it's not compatible with Bell LTE (as far as I can tell).
4G is HSPA+ not LTE. If you're on Rogers and not getting LTE with the Rogers phone make sure you live in an area with LTE coverage and that you have not accidentally disabled it in the mobile network settings.
As for the Rogers version not working with Bell LTE, maybe once the bootloader is unlocked it will be possible to flash the Bell radio and have it work?
I think this is because the rogers optimus g's LTE runs on the 2600mhz band only, as far as i know, so far, it is the ONLY phone in the country that runs on the 2600 band currently. The upside is that you practically get your own private "highway" and you should see significant speed advantages as long as you are connected to roger's network. The downside is that it not very compatible with other networks.

I read this, but most of the articles I'd read said that the 2600MHz band was supposed to be a joint rollout between Rogers and Bell. Sigh.
The possibility of flashing the radio is still pretty far off unfortunately. This phone's going on craigslist; I'll just have to wait till people actually have the Bell one in stock to get my new Optimus.
just called rogers
i had the sim from my iphone4 installed.. thats why it was saying 4g
went to put the lte one in that they sent me and its too big!! they sent me the full size one ...grrrrr!!
In korean version of the G, HSPA+ shows as 3G and LTE as 4G.
I believe ive never seen the LTE icon on the G.

Here the korean screen.
But it obviously depends on the provider/phone version.
The LTE icon probably shown only for providers which dont support the full version of LTE, just the internet/data.
Btw HSPA+ arent related to the 4G, so basically its a cheating and should be sued

Hi all-
I have my E970 working on Rogers, and yes - that's one of the reason I've stuck to the AT&T phone. I suspected Rogers would f*** the consumer somehow as usual. Then again, I still have no Wifi hotspot capability until a ROM update removes AT&T's block.. :silly:
How exactly does one access the service menu to enable or disable various frequencies? I had asked about changing the baseband radio support because the AT&T 700mhz support is useless here in Canada, as the spectrum auction hasn't even run yet. It'll be 18 months or more before a provider has any support for it. But I could use 2600mhz support, or 1800 or 2100mhz support for roaming on vacations.
The band all GSM North American Optimus G models should have in common is the AWS band - 1700up/2100down. The E970 also has 700mhz, the Rogers E971 2600mhz and Telus/Bell E973s ??? (most websites claim 1800mhz, but this seems odd since neither actually use this frequency for LTE).
On the E970, HSPA+ service shows a 4G icon.
On LTE service it shows 4G LTE, even though the speeds are nothing alike. HSPA+ Here in Alberta is typically 1-4Mbit, the LTE speeds so far are nothing to write home about either, averaging about half the claims I see from Rogers users in Ontario or BC - typically 15-30Mbit downstream and 8-12Mbit upstream in various parts of the city.
Here's my Speedtest.net samples from Rogers LTE over the weekend, check the attached screenshot. The speeds seem all over the map, but are all in the same areas of the city, downtown and northside.

Service menu can be accessed by typing 3845#*970# into the dialer, where you replace 970 with the model number of the phone (Bell is 973, Rogers is 971). From there, ->LTE-Only->Modem Settings->LTE Band Selection. Checking the items seems to apply the settings immediately.
If you're getting 30Mbps then that's pretty good, here in Vancouver Rogers seems to top out around 50Mbps with good weather and everything. If you ever get more than half the claimed speeds you're probably standing in a testing lab.
Haze08, I've seen that the American models are unlocked now, but they still have to do the work on the Canadian ones, then someone would still have to have the inclination to figure out the differences between Bell and Rogers models, then figure out a safe way to flash the baseband, then test if it's safe to modify the baseband of one model to make LTE work on a different network. That assumes that it's possible; it could be a hardware issue that can't be fixed by flashing the radio. I'm not even convinced there'd be a demand for figuring out how to make the Rogers model work on Bell, seeing as how the Bell model is starting to trickle in stock. All these factors add up to me not holding my breath that someday the Rogers model will be able to connect to Bell's LTE network.
I'm just hoping to get the bootloader unlock and stock 4.2 with AWS 2600 LTE support for the Rogers E971. I like this phone and really don't want the hassle of changing it for an N4. This phone phone is simply better in every other way.

How old is your Bell SIM? When I upgraded to an LTE device on Telus I needed the new SIM card. Without it, your device likely will not report LTE capabilities to Bell. If you look at the Galaxy S3, the SGH-i747 is identical for Bell, Telus and Rogers, and all support LTE and there are no issues bringing unlocked phones between the 3 carriers, so it doesn't make sense that the Optimus G itself would behave like this.
The sim card I have is a Bell LTE microsim, and it's getting LTE on my new LG-E973.
To clarify:
Rogers LTE microsim + LG-E971 unlocked = Rogers LTE connection
Bell LTE microsim + LG-E971 unlocked = NO Bell LTE connection
Bell LTE microsim + LG-E973 bought from Bell = Bell LTE connection

[Q] HELP-N7105(LTE) not getting 3G at all with T-Mobile!!!

Hey guys! I brought my international GT-N7105 Note II LTE model from Asia and bought that unlimited cheap 30 dollar plan. I checked the towers and my area does have those refarmed 1900MHz towers from their twitter. Anyhow, first i just thought it was my house and I have drove from pasadena-los angeles - Irvine - Orange County and have yet to see ANY 3G/H/H+ signals! Always stuck on the E (2G). First I thought it was the SIM problem so I put that SIM to an iPHONE4 and guess what?! There is the T-Mobile 3G right on that upper left hand corner and speeds are decent. Anywhere from 1.5mbps-6mbps. I'm sure it can go higher but looking at that dinky screen is already enough for my eyes! Is there some specific settings I should be doing? Somehow it's NOT locking to the 3G towers from my N7105. I am planning to get Straight Talk's 45 dollar deal at Walmart and choose the ATT since it's got better coverage from what I hear. Thanks for the help in advance and Happy Holidays everybody!!!
I don't think the 7105 has 1900 band, I have 7100 and I get 3G coverage.

Thanks for the reply but according to this: http://www.smartone.com/jsp/phone/english/detail_v12.jsp?id=2553
It should have 1900MHz just like the N7100 except there's LTE which won't work. There's absolutely no excuse for it NOT to have 3G! This stinks and is frustrating!
I see that it has 1900 band but under GSM, when looking at 3G bands it has HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100 - N7105 vs N7100 having HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
Dont know if it makes any difference but thats why I steered away from the LTE version.
Try this go into service mode: *#197328640# Debug screen Phone Control Network Control & Band Selection. Check if you can enable or see if you have the 1900 band under WCDMA. Might have to go under Combi Bands and select the desired bands.
Just flowing up if it worked out for u or not?

Bumping this since the op didn't respond. I am having the same trouble and I attempted the fix you provided and found that my N7105 lacks the "combi bands"
I mistakenly purchased this phone for pre-paid here in America (should have gotten the n7100) and it seems that Straight Talk doesn't have AT&T cards anymore and I'm stuck on T-Mobile's EDGE service
I have the verizon model and use it with tmobile
So the last two weeks have been the most frustratying and nerve racking weeks ever as I have tried to get tmobile service to work well with the verizon model i have. And although I am definately still irritated, i have to say that I do get 3G and HSDPA on mine, just not anywhere near my house. This has driven me crazy and until today I assumed it was my phone and the lack of certain bands howev er after purchasing a Tmobile 4G hotspot and activating it on a new 300mb plan just to see how well it works, I have found that it was never my phone that sucked at my hopuse, its Tmobiles service that sucks!. BUT... to get the best consistant coverage with the Tmobile sim in my Verizon model I did have to experiment with the APNs quite a bit, and I also upgraded the modem to the newest one released . For anyone tryinbg to do thius with the verizon model, make sure your APN for T-Mobile US or T-Mobile Data (I personally have started using it as T-Mobile Data) has "None" typed in for the username and for APN if your using LTE device type in "fast.tmobile.com" instead of the epc.tmobile...... or whatever it is. Does anyone know if flashing a modem or radio or even just the rom from the tmobile section would help at all? Or would it just **** up the phone..
Despite not getting 3g (since I lack the appropriate physical antenna apparently) I get way better cover with T-Mobile (through Straight Talk) I have to say compared to Verizon. Maybe my Note 2 is much better than my old Thunderbolt or maybe T-Mobile is just a bit better. Nevertheless every building at my university is made of reinforced concrete so you'd be hard pressed to get any reception in the classrooms. I find in places I had no service I have service, and places I had some service I have great service now.
Back on topic though:
I can get the 1900mhz through GSM but that isn't the same and my phone lacks whatever that Combi Bands thing is. So I don't know if it is a lost cause or not. I just figured I'd bring this back up since the OP never responded and I am in the same boat as they are (were?). Maybe a solution can be found or just "it ain't gonna work."
Just following up I have returned my N7105 in favor of a N7100 and get great H+ and 3G through T-Mobile/Straight Talk.

[Q] Moving S4 from Verizon to iwireless/t-mobile

Hi,
I am thinking about moving my Galaxy S4 and moto RAZR from Verizon wireless to iwireless (a t-mobile affiliate). I understand that I need to unlock my phone but I am unable to find out if I move it to iwireless if I will still have 4G data. The iwireless sales rep said that I will still have voice and 2.5G service but couldn't tell me if I would still have 4G.
I was looking at this table I found on a site explaining how to unlock the phone but I don't know enough about the subject to make an informed decision.
Samsung Galaxy S4
Can someone confirm whether or not my Verizon S4 or RAZR can be unlocked to work with the iwireless/t-mobile 4G network?

It seems as though your grasp of the subject is strong enough to know that it might work as you'd like - and it might not. You need to call back and ask to speak to a CSR that actually knows what bands their service works on so they can give you accurate information. That's kind of their job...
Also -
Verizon LTE operates on Band 13 while T-Mob operates on Band 17, both of which carry completely different spectrums; this means no LTE on either of your unlocked phones. There's a slim possibility that you will get intermittent 3G but the most likely scenario is that you will get talk, text and 2G / 2.5G only.
Band 17? My Verizon branded S4 is getting T-Mobile LTE. I'm fairly sure its on band 4.
T-mobile is band 4 which is 1700/2100 mhz. The Verizon s4 is not capable of 1700mhz. But if you are getting 4G it may be because your area is using 2100 mhz. I am specifically moving to iwireless and I was told they use the 1700 mhz band.
Bsliv, how did you unlock you phone?

Many Verizon phones are sim unlocked, so it's most likely unlocked as well

Yes, I think all Verizon LTE capable phones are unlocked.
The I545 (Verizon S4) can receive LTE on band 4. T-Mobile serves LTE on band 4. The coincidence works well.

My RAZR MAXX HD definitely wasn't SIM unlocked... For the life of me I couldn't get it to work when I moved to ATT from Verizon... Not even GSM would work.
I just need to get some clarification from you guys. Are your VZW phones bought in the US and being in the US on t-mobile's or iwireless's 4g network. Because after I made the first post I went to the phone unlocking place in my local mall and talked to there techs, they said that the VZW S4 will not get 4g. I have also been doing extensive searches online and keep finding half saying it will work and half saying it won't. I have a feeling that the ones that work are working outside of the US as I found posts saying as such.
I read some where that the razr you had to flash the radio FW to get GSM to work properly.

I got my vzw S4 off craigslist but 99% sure it was purchased in the USA. I'm on T-Mobile's $50/mo plan.
Verizon's LTE phones are sim unlocked due to an agreement with the FCC when vzw purchased some bandwidth.
I think there was an update around 03/2014 that enabled band 4 on the I545. Then had to make some apn changes and tell the modem to use gsm/lte on band 4.
The one quirk I have is it will say "no service" after a reboot and until I make or receive a voice call. Then I get the "T-Mobile" instead of "no service" and things work as they should.

I'll have to go to iwireless and have one of the tech put a SIM card in my s4 and razr to give it a try.
The only options I have for the network mode on my s4 is
Global, LTE/CDMA, and GSM/UMTS. Can you post you settings?

I was just at iwireless today and tested my phone with their network and was unable to get it to work. iwireless is a t-mobile affiliate but they do not use 4G LTE in my area. Their system runs on a 3.8G 1700MHz which the VZW S4 does not have. I am told that they will be starting to switch all the 2G radios in the area to 4G LTE later this year, which should work with my VZW S4. So I am just going to have to wait till the end of the year and go back and test it again.

That phone was before VZW bought the band 4 spectrum and cut the deal with the FCC. All VZW LTE phones are SIM unlocked. Any AWS capable VZW phone is SIM unlocked and can use LTE on band 4. The S4 got it with an update last year.
I am probably going to do the $30 plan soon and plan to use my VZW S4. I am not going to port my number right away in case the service in my area sucks (doubtful, live in DFW in dense surburbia).
I went out off town this weekend and went to a t-mobile store and was able to get 4g service after adding the correct APN. But it is too bad that iwireless that is in my area does not use that band yet, they are staring to upgrade to that band later this year. Until then my s4 will only get edge service.

I was able to get H+ on my s4 from Verizon to tmobile by changing the network mode to global and the App to fast.T-mobile.com

With the announcement of the T Mobile $100 2 line unlimited everything, I'm also interested in bringing my Verizon S4 MDK boot loader phone to T Mobile, but want to do my research first-- is it as simple as signing up for T Mobile and getting one of their SIMs and then-- would I be able to flash any of the ROMs in the S4 T Mobile Dev forum or is the T Mobile S4 a completely different device? Any caveats? Would I have to LokiDoki after the flash? Would I need to flash a T Mobile specific radio too (currently on i545vrufnk1)? Or is that all just overcomplicating things? Would i be able to just adjust the APNs on my current ROM after inserting a T Mobile SIM?

Quick reply to my post and for anyone else interested-- there's a post here that talks about using a 4.4.2 T-Mobile ROM by Fenny on the a Verizon S4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=57453019 I've tried it and LTE works great, MMS works properly, phone calls work as well. I'm on the Verizon i545vruamdk bootloader and Verizon i545vrufnk1 radio. The ROM is a T-Mobile m919uvufnb4 by Fenny.

AT&T LTE

I have the North American 64gb Zenfone 2. I use AT&T's Share plan and I registered my phone in AT&T's system and it refuses to give me LTE. AT&T claims LTE is enabled on my sim but it doesn't work. When I pop in my brother's sim from an AT&T locked device I get LTE. I do not have any other AT&T locked devices in my house as I recently switched. Can anyone help please??
I am having the same kind of situation with Cricket which is owned by AT&T. My SIM had LTE with my LG Optimus G Pro but only 4G with my ZF2. It is the exact same SIM.
Im on straightalk i used a att sim with no issues on my NA asus zenfone 2, had perfect 4G(lte) signal on 06610.

If the indicater says "4g" that is LTE
OK, cool. My OGP showed LTE when it had the signal. I guess I was expecting the ZF2 to show the same.

Newbie, here - cannot post links.
Do a YouTube search for:
How To Setup AT&T LTE APN Settings
Hope this helps.

Visit your nearest AT&T store and get the rep to delete your ZF2's IMEI from their system. If they won't allow you to, borrow someone else's phone and **get another SIM card** from them. Modifying your APN settings won't help at this point.

I think the phone only shows 4g.. My Nexus 4 (wth LTE Radio) shows LTE..
I am also using Cricket and my phone shows 4G symbol, with speedtest.net I get the 8Mbps down (Cricket caps 4g at that).
When I popped in my t-mobile sim (from the Nexus 4) it also showed 4G symbol, but i would get 26-34Mbps down (which is the 4G/LTE speed)
