BTW not exactly FREE, you get episode 1 then you have to buy 2 & 3.

Yeah I should have mentioned that Ep. 1 was free. Who knows maybe they'll release the other games afterwards as a Xmas promotion.

Not sure yet what the deal is but it doesn't have anything to do with the AIO. I wiped data and installed Calk's stock EL13 zip and still couldn't get it. I wiped data again and flashed Calk's stock EK02 zip (which has a much older market) and that worked. What market version do those of you that are successful have?

cannot install here either. Blazer 3.1

Well I can't find a common denominator for the problem yet. I flashed Calk's Stock Deodexed EL13, Calk's Stock Odexed EL13, Odined the stock EL13 tar, tried ek02 kernels and none of that works.

Try Calk 2.5.1 as he may have changed something.

downloading it now on UnNamed Rom 2.0.1 works perfectly.

Yeah that works. Just trying to figure out where the problem is but can't nail it down.

Running stock EK02. No custom roms or anything. The only thing I have done to this phone is use that auto root and installed CWM and this game runs just fine as well as GTA3.
I did a search on the market for duke nukem 3d and saw it, dl it and installed it with no issues. Plays mighty nice too.

Rogue Recovery. What else is there? lol..

I find it completely hilarious that this phone and the development makes no sense.
Like this thread for example. the OP says not to flash with Rogue Recovery, yet THERE IS NO OTHER RECOVERY OPTION AVAILABLE? lol..

why hasn't anyone said anything to anyone? I've been flashing ICS and GB with Rogue Recovery no problem.
Is this just to frustrate people for fuN
If there is another Recovery available only to the super leet, then fine, but stop saying you can't use the ONLY RECOVERY AVAILABLE. makes no sense. at all.

Really, that's the sentence you want to use to speak out about something that, in your words, makes no sense?
Also, it would seem they explained how to flash it, not using rogue recovery.
2. Clockwork is the preferred method of flashing this ROM.

I guess I don't understand what you are struggling to understand.
Folks usually recommend using EL29 or EL26 with stock CWM. It's not a "secret" or anything.

I tried to edit it , but I had to wait for 5 minutes due to the over bearing neo-nazi - protection this forum has in place.
It's not the same quality forums from 2010 anymore, That's for sure.
Anyhow, I thank you! Thanks for contributing and answering my question. You're a big help.
Just thought I'd add, I believe in past builds you had the ability to flash using stock recovery but that had been disabled by Samsung, so maybe that's why they mention rogue by name?
Stock ClockWork Mod recovery is available. In fact Rogue Recovery is based off of ClockWork Mod...
The only recoverirs in question are ics rogue recoveries. When wiping it causes some bricks. All gingerbread should be great. Its only ics . But now that you bring it up I will wait for yours. You seem to be awesome at deving right? Cool can't wait!

EL26 and before had both Stock CWM and CWM-ACS chris41g.
I don't remember the earliest CWM-Rogue, but that is the only one being repacked with current kernels as chris41g hasn't checked back in a while.
When people refer to stock CWM, not Rogue, they are usually referring to the stock EL26 CWM repack that chris41g put together.
You can find a collection of stock CWM and Rogue CWM in the Auto Root package. I never packaged in ACS recovery.

And it's only the versions after 1.2.1 that were having issues. Even then must people aren't having issues but due to the isolated instances Steady decided to play it safe and past the warning.
Also, the majority of the issues involved using the Rogue Recovery with CyanogenMod Alpha builds in some form or another (and the alpha builds come with their own slew of warnings).

3G/4G Data Speeds on FE16 Modem

Need sum help here! I haven't been able to get decent data speeds since I've been using Sprint unless I'm on wifi. I just updated my modem to FE16, & the screenshots below are 4G/3G & wifi. Proxies are bypassed (0.0.0.0/0), & profile & PRL are updated. Don't know if there's anything else I can do to get better speeds. Live in DC, btw...

Its Sprint, my speeds range from blazing fast 3 and 4g to the speed of smell. Late night is often the best speeds. Try updating profile and prl after changing roms. It helps especially if you flash a lot. Also that app is sometimes slow, the speakeasy speed test is often more accurate.
Try flashing the EK02 modem as an experiment and retest your speed test.
I wish I could flash EK02 modem. I have Blu Kuban ICS FE10 ROM, & the earliest modem I can install is FB15. I reverted back to FD02, so I will see how that acts. Here's hoping...
Why can you only go back to fb15? Any modem is compatible with GB or ics.

Can't we swtich T989 to T989D (Stock) ROM?

Hello
I use T989 in south korea.
And I heard that Telus T989D get ICS upgrade and get ICS tar.md5 burn to my T989 via Odin 1.85.
But always fail(stuck) when amss.bin download.
T989 GingerBread / T989D GingerBread / T989D ICS all STOCK ROM
(Refer the include picture)

So I change to Telus GingerBread STOCK tar.md5 to my T989 and it was failed too when amss.bin.
Finally i think that T989 device can't swap to T989D stock rom.
Can't we change STOCK ROM Swap t989 and t989d?
Just only system partition compatible?
I can try ODIN in "re-partition" function, but i CAN'T expect successful.

Awesome to hear. Let me know if you are having an issue with any compass apps. For some reason some people (myself included) can't get the compass to register correct readings. Thanks.
Going crazy here...
I've used CWM to flash both:
'Telus_SGH-T989DTLLE4_Stock_Rooted.zip' and 'SGH-...LLE4_radio.zip'
However, when I launch KIES I still get
"Your device does not support software upgrading via KIES" message.
Any ideas?
Flashing the ROM and radio provides you with the upgrade. There is no need to upgrade via Kies if you used this method.
Finally worked... kept freezing, I toggled signature to Enabled and it finally booted
Thanks!

New user E4GT , need some help.

Hey guys, I just broke my galaxy nexus (fell in the pool) and a buddy gave me his old E4GT to use.
I did my research around this forum and found a ton of different things.
What I've done so far:
Wiped the phone and rooted using odin for FL24 which is the stock ICS build on the phone.
What I want to do:
Flash CWM recovery
Flash a Stable rom
I've been reading about a few unstable kernel issues around the forum and I'm a bit confused.
I would really appreciate the help with this Thanks
You should know that in order to flash a ROM, you need to flash a safe gb kernel, EL29 directboot or EL26 CWM,do you know about the emmc bug?
Since I dont see a specific question, check this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953783

There are a ton of really stable builds in android development, and most have cwm built in. Jellyverse is a kick a** ROM, but doesn't have cwm, but it's easy enough to flash that after you load the ROM. Good luck.

Well if you're looking for a stable ICS ROM, I can definately recommend the Blue Kuban FL24/FI27 ROM. All you need to do is boot into a safe kernel (http://e4gtcm.blogspot.com/p/tools.html), then boot into it (MAKE SURE YOU ARE ROOTED AND HAVE FILES ON YOUR PHONE, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL PUT YOU IN BOOTLOOP), then wipe data/factory reset, and then flash the rom (if you want the Blu Kuban ROM, here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625535). And you should be :good: to go.

*Note* After you flash the rom using the EL29 Directboot (which is needed to be flashed either through Desktop Odin or Mobile Odin), the ROM will automatically install a safe recovery after the ROM flash.

No recovery on aokp rom

I'm using the aokp mildstone 5 rom and it doesn't have a custom recovery. I tried flashing stock cmw5,ff18,stock rogue,el26,stock twrp. Every one that I flashed on it doesn't work when I go to reboot sys it won't reboot the rom or it will do the android is updating apps but when it finishes it just freezes. Also it won't run google play services or play store they both force close had to download the apps that I needed manually from dev-host.I like this rom and want to back it up but no recovery works and it sucks not being able to use play store
Wow that's an old version of AOKP. I would flash EL29 directboot kernel via Odin. Then flash this more recent version of AOKP http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45539481&postcount=223

You're flashing TouchWiz recoveries, that's why it won't work. Flash an ICS AOSP kernel.

The only ics aokp recovery I see over there is times infinity.I tried chris41,calkulin, rogue,agat63..these wouldn'twork and I used my PC

I saw a couple on @rwilco's site that said AOKP in the title (I would try those first), however I never used any ICS AOSP ROMs on this device as it had 4.2.2 when I moved over.
Try to flash Chris41g CWM6 recovery. (I'd post a link but, I don't have over 10 posts.) Should be located in @rwilco's site under CM9 kernels. It probably won't boot but you will have a recovery that should be able to flash any AOSP JB ROM.
