Do Not use this on a Sprint Tab if you use 3g. You will lose 3g connectivity if you do successfully flash this modem.

So does that mean if it flash I will be on verizon network? I'm on sprint now but it's SLOW.... Should I flash this modem?

If your tab's EIN isn't registered on verizon's network, then you won't be able to use it. you should stick with sprint's modems.

2.3.60 is kl ?

Before i release a few of my roms today i want to make sure when people say kl does that mean 2.3.6

UVKL1 = 2.3.6
UVKID = 2.3.5
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
KL is the name of the new baseband that came with the 2.3.6 Android version. Without the new baseband wifi calling will not work. Without 2.3.6 you do not have the option to enable the wifi calling.
So the KL is not 2.3.6 and people are using the KL with 2.3.5 with no option for wifi calling now.
I just confused myself hopefully you can follow it. This is how I understand it, i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong

The build and baseband is are kl1 but in order for wifi xalling you just need the new build not the baseband. The baseband is just pretty much the modem not the software that runs wifi calling.
Oh okay, I thought that the new modem kl1 was the only modem that worked with wifi calling, that is why our kid roms haven't added it yet. I didn't know it would work with kid and 2.3.6.

hmm interesting. I have to try it myself when I receive my phone back. That's good news because we have more choices.
Anyone have any feedback on which baseband version works more efficiently in what areas and where I can download a odin flashable for each?

Check with some custom roms, because some devs includes the T Mobile WiFi calling into their roms.

You forgot to mention those custom ROMs are stock-based ROMs. Just trying to be clear and not confuse the OP.

E4GT + AOKP JB 4.2.2 = no WiMax?

Hi all,
I flashed the unofficial AOKP on my E4GT built by ktempleton here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116816 but 4G doesn't work anymore. I'm using the FL24 radio from ICS as the radio section says JB radios will only work with TW ROM. I can enable 4G in settings but it finds no networks to connect to whereas with stock ROM (ICS) I get 3-4 bars at the house. Here's my logcat:
http://pastebin.com/9qaRkZXy
http://pastebin.com/MNDLXMmR
(too big for free pastebin so split into 2)
Can any one shed some light as to why it doesn't work and what I should do to fix it?
From my understanding don't even bother trying to use 4g on AOKP. Same speeds as 3g.

Negative..
The carrier dependent information will be different when using the ATT device on T-Mobile....
You'll need the MK7 modem to get the device working...along with the t-mobile sim card...
ATT will not recognize the device...g

I'm on t mobile now and did not change anything. Using the MK6 modem that came with the 4.3 ATT upgrade a while back.
Only functionality that I lost was hotspot that is blocked by some ATT system files.

No issues if you are on the tmo network...
Many users have ATT devices using mk7 modems for tmo...
It's the only way to get full device function...
But if an ATT modem is working fine for you...there is no problem leaving it if you prefer...g
