No you can't put EVO 4g roms on an EVO View.

Please don't flash an Evo 4G ROM onto the View.... Two completely different devices.
Check over in the HTC Flyer section. The development section for the View is poor on XDA as far as I can tell, maybe there is a site with more support

So I was using a loaned Inspire before switching carriers and noticed the stock sense software on the inspire allows for home screen rotation and dlna and has some power options that the sense on my Evo doesn't have.
So here is the question. Can / has anyone been able to run the Inspire ROM on the Evo?
Ps staying with Sprint. Much better coverage.

Touch wiz is closed source like windows, webOS , and mostly any other skin/operating system. It would be a suicide mission because Samsung would sue anyone tryin to port it....so no. Best bet is gettin a Samsung phone

I'm calm didn't realize caps lock was on...but that **** is dead they said there's no way WiFi would work they pulled that ROM from a Verizon Motorola blur phone I believe ..but i was thinking the photon would work being its on sprints networ

I've been checking out the latest ROMs on here for the Evo 4G and a few are Sense 3.5 but have no working 4G...
I've read some posts that said "until a phone with Sense 3.5 is released 4G will not be working" or something to the effect that there are no 4G devices running Sense 3.5...well I was in Best Buy tonight checking out the new phones and saw the HTC Verizon Rezound...I checked the "about phone" and it's Sense 3.5...and has working 4G....and Beats Audio which sounded goddamn great on that device by the way...
SOOO....my questions is this: have the devs simply not had a chance to hook up a ROM with Sense 3.5 and working 4G or have I just read a few posts about "no working 4G with Sense 3.5" by people who are NOT developers and have no clue WTF they're talking about??

4G is a term coined from companies to represent their high speed internet.. LTE , Wimax, and hspa+(ATT uses this but w.e.) are all the "proper" way phones should be advertised. Verizon and ATT use LTE. Sprint uses Wimax(switching to LTE 2012) they are all different from one another. The new 3.5 sense has LTE so it isn't compatible with Wimax..or 4G as you call it

The rezound is a Verizon phone. Verizon 4g runs on LTE. The EVO runs on Wimax for 4g. These are two different 4g technologies. In short, the posts you read were correct because until Sprint releases a Wimax phone with sense 3.5 we will not have a sense 3.5 Rom with 4g for our evos.

This is the evo 4g section. The Evo design and evo 4g are 2 different devices. And non of the roms here will work on the design
