I have a friend of mine that was told that he could get 4g on his evo. Apparently they can do this, does anyone knows if this is possible? And if it is, how? THANKS.

clearwire maybe, boost doesn't offer 4g to my knowledge, what was his starter phone
Yes you can
Just turn on the 4g on your evo and you will get the 4g of sprint. The problem with this is that you will have to pay for it ($50 a month for only 1.5GB)
CAN SOME PORT THE PHOTON 4G OVER TO THE EVO 4G OR IS IT IMPOSSIBLE I THINK THAT WOULD BE ONE OF THE BEST ROMS OUT THAT WERE TO HAPPEN ,IF I KNEW HOW TO BUILD ROMS OR WHAT NOT I WOULDA BEEN DID IT, BUT JUST ASKING ??????
Dude calm down lol someone is working on one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254113

Just bought a tablet and is looking for support on the HTC Evo View 4G.
No you can't put EVO 4g roms on an EVO View.
Sent from my Supercharged MikG'd up EVO 4g while eatin some Chop Suey.
Hit that thanks button if I managed to help.
Please don't flash an Evo 4G ROM onto the View.... Two completely different devices.
Check over in the HTC Flyer section. The development section for the View is poor on XDA as far as I can tell, maybe there is a site with more support

What are you planning on upgrading to? I think I'll be going to the GSIII unless the specs end up being a flop.
Galaxy S III...no questions about it. I'm not due to upgrade til november, but since I'll be graduating next month, I may just pony up and 'treat' myself.
One exists. The other does not. So, this question is a little premature.
I'm actually planning on upgrading to the Galaxy Nexus.
Sure I was hoping that the evo LTE would look much better, but it has amazing specs. I think I am going to grab it, stick my evo on a pre-paid, so I can still play with it of course.
I can't stand the build quality of any Samsung I've touched. I preordered my OG Evo, and been happy ever since. Tempted to preorder Evo lte, but would sure like to check out build quality first. I hated the materials they used on Evo 3d.

Check it out HTC EVO 4G LTE definitely has superior build quality...
Get to know the HTC EVO 4G LTE
I've been considering the Evo 4G LTE but thing I hate about it is the fact that it does not have a removable battery.
Evo 4G LTE
I would probably get the Evo Lte depending on how well the GS3 performs. I played with the GS2 and honestly, it was garbage. I'm still rocking the original Evo because the 3D was a let down. Hope this helps!
EVO LTE is my choice. My OG is still the best for me. Never let me down even when I did by dropping it several times. Just keeps going and going. I am putting my money on HTC.

Unless the GSIII blows everything out of the water, I'm getting the 4G LTE.
But I am concerned about Sprint's LTE coverage.

This looks tremendous... I'm definitely going with HTC again. I don't trust Samsung (had the Moment... No thanks).
Now if I can manage to get this before next April when my upgrade is due... Hmmm...
