Just relized that when I looked at the backups somehow I hit a space button.
So I went back and made sure there was no space and they restored perfectly.
Must have been something with the keyboard that I didnt notice.
Thanks for your quick reply and offered help. Rich

TITLE SHOULD READ : RESTORING. I have sausage fingers and typing on a HP MINI is a little difficult..lol. sorry.
Not sure if i'm doing something incorrectly but it gets a little tedious having to click "install" and "done" when Titanium is running the restore batch.
I have 268 apps/system data backed up and im getting tired of having to click install and done...268 times. LOL.
Anyone?

I held out for the longest time, but now I'm so happy I purchased. Sooooooo much faster and easier to deal with.
holy cow. I didnt even realize that the full version gave you the ability to do that.
Buying right now!
Thanks all!
I just use android commander to back up the apps and titanium to backup the data, then use android commander to batch restore them and titanium to batch restore the data.
Donated for full version. Worth every penny!

yeah you can do that but some ROMs are optimized to work with ext2 partitions for A2SD.
swap size can be optional as its functions as bootleg RAM.

That is the correct way.... You set the swap and partition sizes to 0 and you are good to go, but as always, back up to your computer first.....

Just fyi, I was trying to do the same thing yesterday. I unmounted the sd card via the phone setting, and formated the sd card from within the phone (not plugged into the computer...all phone here), and it deleted the partition.
Guys how can I recover the space I loose with partioning?
I formatted my SD and went back to 7.38 gb
and if I enter to Titanium Backup it says 7.93

There are programs you can run off your pc that will recover any lost space. I saw them mentioned in the kingdom or Genger thread recently.

I did the Amon RA AND turned setting to 0 but it gives me 7.40 gb. Then when I installed a rom and go to titanium backup it says that my Sd has 7.93 gb.
So the is something missing hear...

you can unpartition in unbuntu. as far as windows I dont know.
You buy your card on ebay? sometimes they give probs like that. (not giving full memory) you never get all the memory teir rated at but when its excessive theyres a problem

I don't have a direct link for you, but what your saying is exactly what the guy in the other thread mentioned. Except he was missing like over a gb I think. Someone referenced a program you can run, that will "recover" that space you seem to have lost after "unpartitioning" your card.

I want to try different ROMs but I don't want to lose the way everything is set up currently. Not just apps and whatnot, but EVERYTHING--widget location, wallpaper, etc.

Backup using the backup feature in Clockwork Recovery. I use it all the time going back and forth between SRF and GB roms.

What you may want to do when you have time is wipe everything and restore the nandroid backup you just made to confirm it made a good backup. It almost always does but I have gotten an occasional MD5 mismatch. It is highly unlikely but it is good to know you have a solid backup to rely on

Hi I'm having an issue when I'm trying to restore my titanium backup apps. I cant figure it out. I installed the jellybam ROM and now I can't restore my apps. I'm using twrp recovery if that helps. I'm gonna post some pics. Titanium reads the apps but they don't show up on the restore screen. Any help please. I have searched on this forum and online before I posted.

What happens if you verify the backups? The top option on that list in the second screen shot.
I pressed that option before anf here is what it shows. Its only showing like 3 apps.

Remove the filter. Click hourglass on the top right, remove craigslist.
You may need to press the funnel button, if the filter shows as empty. Then you will be taken to the filters screen, where you will see craigslist is being used.
Holy shiznet bro that worked how the hell did that happen. I been beating myself up thinking that it was rom or flashing issues. I feel like a noob lol. Thanks a ton.

I accidentally wiped all my internal storage on my phone and desperately need to retrieve some text I had backed up. When I reinstalled TB the folder was gone and it showed that I had zero back ups. I have the pro edition also is there anyway I can find my back ups out any other way to get my text?
If you wiped everything then how could anything be retrieved?

well I was hoping that since I was using TB pro that some how some where it could still be made available. This sux but thanx fellas
I did the same thing about a year ago. Now the first thing I do is set up some scheduled backups in titanium. It backs up everything and then automatically loads it to my Dropbox every night at midnight. And I have my pics automatically backup there as well. Just a thought for next time. Sorry man.

If you have Titanium Backup Pro you can pull the Texts from a Nandroid Backup.
