Android Market version 1.0.28 ???? - Acer Iconia Tab A100

I guess the subject says it all...
Is everyone having the same android market app version 1.0.28?
It's always presented in landscape mode and have several problems.
I've side-loaded version 3.3.12 and it works like a charm, but the installation haven't replaced the original one above!!!!
Any ideas????
Thanks and it's much appreciated...

Did you replace the Vending.apk in the /system/app folder?

What do you mean by replacing it?
I'm kinda noob, so by replacing it do I get it off the Internet for this tablet specifically?

Thanks!
Renaming the newly downloaded market app to vending.apk and placing it in the suggested path worked like a charm!!!!

It's an update.zip
Install Zip from SD CARD in CWM
Updated with a known working version with auto correct.
Looks like credit for this goes to Fabolous, from fabdroid.com

Force Closes on me using Virtuous 0.7.2. Looks nice though
force closes on enomther
works on CM6.1 (stable).
But sorry google, I don't really think this keyboard has any visible advantages to the other keyboards on the market. Okay, maybe the best available for free, but not that excited with this one.
Works great on CM6.1! Thanks!

New market not showing updates?

Okay, so I searched as much as I could on the xda app for this answer, or the old market and couldn't find anything. Here's my problem, I am using the new market and none of my apps seem to be updating or even showing they need updated, when I go search an app I have installed and open it in market it says it needs an update. I'm not really diggin this new market, how would one go about getting the old market back? I searched in themes & app for the old one and could only find impalied darkness, trid to get it to install and wouldn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Unless you deleted your old one you should be able to just uninstall the new one and get back the older ones.

Look for a market.apk here and reinstall market manually. That has solves similar issues for me in the past.

YouTube app issue

Since the last Verizon update I cannot open links in the YouTube app, I have tried factory reset , rooted phone and tried all apps told that would fix this but still cannot get it to work, at help? Should I flash a ROM if so which ?

If you're rooted, remove the HTCLinkify.apk (something like that) from /system/app, if not you can't change it.

[Reward] Stock keyboard on Carbon ROM

I'm on the July 16th version of Carbon ROM, it's 4.2.2. I do not like the android keyboard it uses and none of the solutions on the carbon thread have worked for me. I've also done a bit of googling but it didn't help. I'm looking for the stock samsung keyboard my phone came with out of the box. If you help me get it on my phone, you will be rewarded with $5 PayPal if you please. Thanks

Copy this to /system/app using es file explorer ( with root permissions ). Reboot into recovery and fix permissions. Should work.

I didn't download it but if that's just SamsungIME.apk it week not work (which is what he wants). First, there are a couple libs and alert app needed just for SamsungIME. Second, it needs TW Framework which is where the real problem lies.

Bummer. Disregard then. It is the samsung ime apk. Didn't realize it was so integrated. Lib files can easily be copied, but if it's integrated into the framework, that's a whole other beast.
He may want to look at installing swipe or smart keyboard instead.

Swype and the other just aren't the same for me. It's a shame because carbon has so much to offer. Might have to switch back to Jedi or something. I wish I started off on a different keyboard because I'm so used to this one.
