Great post. I think a this should be made as a "stickie"
My suggestion is delete alpha rom, if you look in the thread you will find it is just android revolution renamed by someone and the thread got closed down.
Good idea OP will be nice to have all this together for easy reference and sticky would be good

Maybe add something about how to unroot/return to stock

You will need to look for lte specific things.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
OP as there is GSM and lte versions perhaps create each catagory with specific things for both versions ie; GSM roms root bootloader etc and then lte rom root bootloader
This level of organization with derinately be good for easy referance for all users world wide.

I guess this thread was moved because it was integrated into the main sticky at the top of the development section (thanks for posting here to explain that mods)

I have unlocked bootloader and installed a cooked rom. Now I have to restore back to factory stock (locked bootloader + factory rom and recovery). I've found many guides for CDMA model, but nothing for the GSM one (I believe the process is the same but I need proper files for rom and recovery). Anybody could help? Thanks
Questions do not belong in the development section. Thank you.

The files are posted in Google Groups for both GSM and CDMA versions.

I don't know what file to search for. The guides I found have an attached zip with everything you need. Could you please give me a link to those "google groups"? Thanks
Factory reset it and then fastboot oem lock?

Admin Please Delete the thread.
Sorry if I'm posting in wrong section.
Today I successfully installed Leaked OTA ICS update IMM26 on my NS4G. It's great but to my disappointment Flash based apps are not working properly. Some Flash based apps are working fine (e.g. Veetle) but many others, especially browsers, are not handling it well at all. The reason perhaps is that many apps haven't yet been optimized for ICS. I'm addicted to all these apps.
Please tell me if there is a way to downgrade to Stock Gingerbread.
NOTE: I have unlocked bootloader but unsuccessful in getting root because SU works up to 4.0.3 only.
Thanks everyone.

This belongs in questions and answers.
But there's a one click (not really one) restore to stock in this forum. I believe its using Odin.
Just look thru the threads and you'll find the instructions.

not sure why you thought this was development...
But yes you can... Just wipe (everything) then install a gb rom. That is if you just did a cwm install of ics.

u should be wrong , ive seen many roms in developments page but none of them were stock rom
Officially, 4.0.2 is the latest version. Unofficially, there are ROMs with 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.
A 4.0.3 stock from can be built from source code. See the guide. But its not an official Google build as it has not been release officially.

Without open a new topic, can I flash with "ClockWorkMod" or stock recovery the factory images?
If not, do I have to use "Root toolkit"?
Thanks.
Bye!

Are you on one of the custom ROM's that are mentioned in the first post and in the thread title? This theme is ONLY for those ROM's.

No, sorry. Dive into the development section and start reading. Everybody has different things they like in a ROM. All those ROM's are in the development section. Be sure to read carefully and know what you are doing and you'll be fine.

Most likely because the rom wipes your internal storage.

What is meant by "make sure you have the kitkat bootloader?"
Is it not built I into the ROM?
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
T-Mobile doesn't have the 4.4.2 bootloader yet because we don't have an official release yet. If we had that bootloader we would friggin already have 4.4.2 lololol
No offense but i guess this rom is in the wrong thread, tell me if wrong.

For our Canadians we don't have any forum. as T-Mobile and Canadians have same LTE most of the Canadian ROM list here. Its only for Canadians as I test only on N900W8.
Do you have an ETA on the links? I'm eagerly awaiting to try this out

Why is this in our forums
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
For the people that have not been around for a while or have not been following the TMO Note 3 Dev. There is no TMO N900W8 forum.
The Canadian rom (Miscoms) has been posted here since the beginning. Which it makes sense as this is the T-MOBILE NOTE 3 FORUM.
And before somebody says Canada is not T-Mobile its Rogers, note that Rogers and TMO are Identical in bands and radio. Just one says W8 to identify it as a rogers phone. Both will work perfectly on the others networks. (Trust, we have tested this theory out extensively)
With that said.
Thank you very much for the contribution.
For the poster that asked about the bootloader. All of us that work on these roms have bricked a phone or 2 trying to figure out how to force the bootloader. The N900w8 rom, has been out for a while, BUT, you have to have the NA2 bootloader to be able to flash the rom or it will fail, or brick your phone.
Regardless of what was this should be in original development then not in this one

Original Dev roms are reserved for people that put out original dev roms. like. AOSP, CM, IOKP, bla bla bla. Stock Roms put out by the OEM and modified go here, not in the Original development section. Modded Stock roms are not "original" developments
Hopefully that makes sense.
...is it really that deep... who cares it's a forum any additional information on similar devices is beneficial. Now back to the important topic what happens if I flashed this to my tmo note 3??

without the proper bootloader, that both 900t and 900w8 phones need. you stand to have problems. As with the N9005 roms, they all suggest having the bootloader before you start flashing the roms to insure you do not brick your phone.
I guess I'll be the adult here and say thanks. Always love new additions to the catalog of ROMs. I'm sure all the Canadian users will be happy. Doesn't matter what forum its in. I'm sure if most people read the threads they would know that the Canadian variant is pretty much the same phone.... Please read before you post.... And I don't post much I read read read.....

WoW.... I am feeling that I am a prisoner to post this ROM. Guys the common sense is this ROM is for them who are already on 4.4.2. So there is no reason that you brick your phone. If it does not suitable for your N3 you can go back to 4.3 again. Thanks
