Thanks for the link. Appreciate it.
Thank you, very informative...
i would like to add more information to it with components identification and more details about disassembling and assembling. but for this i need to remove binding around the chips, which is not something i am ready to do at the moment.
on a reality it is very quick to disassemble this device. takes about 10 min. to take it apart. construction looks better thought-out compared to Prophet for example.
no wifi
I opened mda Compact III arte110 and there is no wifi antenna.

You right.
And chip is also missing on the board.
The bad thing is that some people when they were buying this device did not know about the fact that Wi-Fi functionality is missing, and sellers were not much informed, as well. Bad trick..
regards,
anyone care to give me some tip on how to get the catches on page 8,9,10 to let go of the case?
I really can't seem to get it loose.
In the PDF this step is described as hard, but there is no indication how the author did it.
I have ordered myself some tools for caseopening.. so I'm hoping the whole prosess is easier then.
If anyone have opened this case, perhaps can sheld some light on how they did this step.
okey. seems a bent tweezer works ok.
horizontal in, behind the hooks, then pull

u have checked that the chip is also missing, and seen it with ur own eyes or are you just stating other information...cuz if only the antenna is missing, one could think of a solution...
I needed to replace my screen recently and found the Artemis-inside pdf to be only useful up to a point. Wrote my own guide in case people might find it useful:

Very interesting docs. Thank you both!
Hello everyone,
Just a quick couple of questions, as I do not have any idea on how to do what I am about to ask, nor do I know if it is even possible... On the new HD2 it is Windows mobile and has the HTC sense, would it not be possible to port the HTC sense to another Windows mobile phone? To me it sounds like it shouldnt be that difficult, but like I said I have no idea what kind of obstacles stand in the way.. For me, I have a Toshiba TG01, that is as I am sure a lot of people know DYING for a better UI and because of the phone specs I would think it would make it even easier (maybe?) .. I dont know maybe someone could give me some input (other then to get pointui and then senseui)
Thanks!
Jm
Are you serious. Try searching and reading.
I am serious, I have read quite a bit of information but obviously not the same information that you have considering your a "senior member". Act like one and maybe write some useful information rather then just bashing.
Thanks!

He is serious, if would have search first, you would have found these threads:

SO NEXT TIME SEARCH!
Thank for the links, I looked through them but they are all cooked into ROMs, and not just "sense" on its own.. I guess it isnt really possible..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Windows_Phone_devices
Here's a list of every windows phone released that runs similar to the DVP. The only thing we should have to do is port and change a few code lines. I'm gonna dive a little deeper hopefully tonight, if not tonight within the next couple of day
Porting one of these roms should enable the compass and allow a code for a gyroscope.
Edit: Found a post that might be very useful. Nosker found them before I did, I'm just puting them here for people who want to give this a shot. If you guys find anything else that might help us with roms please post a link. Thanks!
OsBuilder - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330850
Edit 2: Did a little searching and I found the closest phone for rom porting. Its only an Idea DO NOT FLASH UNTIL CONFIRMED PORTED AND FUNCTIONAL!!! It would also give us a head start.

Edit 3: Found interop unlock and root tool. However the root tool doesn't yet cover Mango so that should hopefully be around the corner. I'll confirm the root tool in a couple hours and let you know if it works or not.

Thanks for putting in your efforts but most of the people have lost interest I think..
plus with windows phone 8 around the corner i don't think that'll motivate those who still are in pursuit..
Sent from my Venue Pro using Board Express
I've come across this recently and haven't been able to find it on this forum by searching, so thought I'd provide a link to it Incase anybody needs it.

Thank you
Thanks for posting it! LG phones may break often, but at least service manuals are excellent, and give you some clues about how to troubleshoot your phone at board level. Samsung phones on the other hand are better in terms of reliability, but I can't find any service manuals online anywhere!
Mega link do not function via app or browser.
Fortunately, its also available here:

Many thanks for this.
if you have h736 service manual please send link
LG G4 H818P motherboard differences
Hello everyone,
I apologize if this question is in the wrong place, maybe the moderators can move it where it belongs.
This is my issue: I need to change my H818P motherboard. I have found the official spare parts site, but it has a bunch of them, with different prices, for my model phone. I'm really hoping someone can please tell me the technical differences between these two - LGH818P.ANGRWH 1.0 Main and LGH818P.AKAZVK 1.0 Main. Both are PCB Assembly, Main; and both are for Model number LGH818P. Unfortunately, the customer service rep wasn't able to give me any information.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Dmitry
that is difference of country region or software version difference
H815 same as H811
Just got a phone second hand and went to reset it, but its stuck on the FRP.
The only info I could find was on the recovery mode screen and it just said G9600ZHS6DTG2
I've read around on how to do it but I'm still not too sure on how to do anything, most websites and downloads seem kinda sketchy tbh.
I read I could re-flash the firmware onto the device to bypass it, is this viable? Or is there an easier way to do it?
If its a good way to do it, where can I download the files without getting a virus lmao
Thanks to anyone who reads this, any help is appreciated.
Have a good day!
