Gallery force closes every single time - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Completely stock nexus...gallery force closes everytime I open it, even after tons of reboots and battery pulls. It only force closes if I open it directly....meaning, if I open it from the camera, it won't force close.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I am now.
Any update on your situation?

Force Close Issues

I seem to be getting quite a few force close notifications during normal daily operations. Anything from pulling up a text message or opening the program drawer. Anytime I try to open Qik it forecloses. Hard reset didn't seem to fix any of the problem. Anyone else experiencing these problems?
i had qik force close on me every time, but it seems t have gone away for the time being. i didn't change anything, just ignored it and moved on. so i'm not sure what was causing it.

I'm having the same problem on 4 different mobile devices (2 phones, 2 tablets) al of which were working fine yesterday.
The problem is obviously from youtube.
They are making horrible changes.
Subscriptions don't appear on the home page anymore. We are now forced to see what they choose to throw at us.
Very sad!
same here, then is not my tablet, hope they fix it
I see, i thought it was my tablet, it does look like they're doing changes for the worse :/
same to me.

[Q] How to keep an App running ?

Hi, is there a way to stop the phone from closing an app that is running ? Let me explain, i use my phone to film off road expeditions, but after a certain time the camera app closes, i then have to restart it, then it closes again and so on. Is there a way to keep it from closing down ?

There's really nothing you can do about that since Android manages the memory and kills off apps based on memory free, app priority, and LFU (least frequently used order). (the only way to make an app not get killed sooner than regular apps is to have it host a service.)
It only takes a moment to start the camera, so what's the deal? If you need the camera to be available in a microsecond then you want a dedicated camera instead

[Q] MIUI-112300 phone force closing

Camera causes photo to freeze

I've flashed a bunch of ROMS and they all have the same issue. After a couple weeks, when I take pictures (especially with flash) the camera freezes and I need to remove the battery. Once it starts doing it, it usually keeps doing it for a few hours. Charging the battery to 100% seems to stop it from doing this. Has anyone else seen this? It makes me want to smash my phone.
i also have this issue. keeping the battery at 100% does not seem to help any. My issue is only with the Samsung camera app. A 3rd party camera app does not cause the problem, so I just switched to open camera.
