Hey Guys,
Amazon has them from sellers ranging from $735-750, may be worth checking out.
Here's my favor request, for those of you that HAVE the GSM version, could you please leave a review there?
There are some idiots reviewing this beautiful desired phone, that don't even have it! They are leaving 1-star ratings, because of the price - give me a break!
This phone may have it's flaws (name one that doesn't), but it deserves far more respect than it's getting.
So it would be cool if some of you that actually have the Galaxy Nexus, could please leave a "real" review about the phone itself - for future buyers.
Note: No I don't work for Amazon, Google or Samsung. I am just someone who is tired of idiot trolls leaving bad reviews on a product that they don't even own!
If I had this phone, I'd leave my review - but I don't as of yet. Thx!

(to the reviewers on amazon, and most people in the world):
why is the cellphone subsidy so hard to understand?
Let me just tell you this, forget about Amazon ratings. Read reviews from Tech sites, watch videos, and (if worst comes) buy the phone. I can personally tell you that this phone is a significant upgrade to any device that came out this year, bar the iPhone 4S (they are not in the same category) and that this is definitely the best Android phone out at the moment. Any dual core android phone with a resolution of 960*540 or less will be a significant upgrade (I came from a Sensation). Only the Rezound is similar in specs, so that is probably on par with hardware. I would not buy it as an upgrade for the Rezound, unless I could get my money back for it.
Just ordered mine today from gsm imports will def leave a review once i get it.. currently on the galaxy s 2 tmobile version

Americans have no idea how cell phone pricing works.
Unlocked iPhone 4S's sell for $1000.
i'd complain about the price also(especially considering this GSM one is only a mere 16GB) but then again, considering i used to buy Neo Geo games for $400 & even then, arcade game PCB's as high as $2,500... i shouldn't give the price crap.
of course i'd be getting the LTE 32GB model for the contract price so at least this time i won't be dumping a ton of money on something.

You know that, and I know this - but the average Joe maybe doesn't. I always when it comes to tech purchases, check the tech blogs - and when it comes to phones, I check here even from you guys. And for other products, I do use Amazon for reviews (but not solely).
Just bothered me that people are reviewing this phone based on price alone. If you don't want to pay $700-800 for a phone, then don't! But to leave a poor rating because of it's price, is just lame (imo). It tells me nothing about the phone and it's functions etc., only that it's not cheap - well DUH! I can see that for myself! lol
At any rate, no one has to leave a review on Amazon, I just thought some if some of you have the phone already, that maybe some could balance out the reviews a little bit, with some "real" insight to this beauty of a phone. Especially since millions rely on Amazon for reviews.
If it bugs you that much, why not flag up the rubbish silly reviews with Amazon mods to remove them?
It's stupid though that people have nothing better to do than rate on price alone.

Because some people are just stupid I guess. Makes you wonder how they can manage anything in life if they can't even manage simple math.
In the case of the Nexus they should also consider that it's the price after importing them from a country where most devices are more expensive than in the US. I guess the same people can't use such basic logic either though.
Btw: It's number one in the phone category on Prisjakt (similar to Pricerunner) in Sweden, and it's not even officially available here yet because of all the delays.

No, I mean go to Ebay, search for "unlocked iphone 4s" and look at the prices.

So this new Galaxy phone Verizon holds exclusivity over in the US is turning out to be a giant flop lol. Verizon holds dominion over this new "Galaxy" device, and therefore it is not the true "Google experience," and therefore is not a Nexus ... The real Nexus just hit the UK and will explode its white hot awesomeness all over Canada soon. Looks like the World has an exclusive over the Nexus and the US has to wait until Dec 4th or whenever,
The true Nexus so far:
1) Is way thinner and not ugly
2) has a hyperskin coating on the back and not brushed aluminum
3) Is bloat-free lol
4) Is already released "exclusively" around the world, excluding the US
5) Is not under the twisted control of an evil carrier
6) Does not have any stupid carrier logos anywhere
7) Is cheaper (Phone itself, and Tmo/ATT plans vs VZW - $30 vs $95)
8) Uses a lot less battery because it doesn't have a huge/premature LTE radio
9) one word: Freedom... use the phone around the world, switch carriers whenever with sim cards
I just switched off Verizon and purchased my unicorn from glorious Handtec.
100Mins, Unlimited Text & Data (5GB of 4G)on T-Mo for $30, can't beat that XD I used to pay $95 on VZW for 450 talk/unl txt+web lol.
Anyone else switched off VZW for the Nex?

$698 I believe. It would normally be $595 I believe, if you bought it in the UK. But there's a VAT or whatever for importing

1) "way thinner" = 0.53mm? Really?
2) Where's your source saying the back of the Verizon model is brushed aluminum and not hyperskin?
3) The bloat on the VZW model (from what we know at this time) is TWO pre-installed apps. Big whoop.
4) Yeah the global model is already released, but being on Verizon I'm stuck waiting, which is fine. I've waited a year and a half for this phone, another couple weeks isn't going to kill me.
5) Yeah well, that's life
6) True. But the Verizon model has the logos on the BACK, and on the battery cover no less (not branded on the device itself), so big whoop.
7) You get 5GB data, I have unlimited, $30/mo. And that'll be on Verizon's LTE, so there
8) Where's your evidence that the LTE model uses "a lot [more] battery" because of its radio? Oh right, the phone isn't even out yet... whoops.
9) That's true of any global phone basically.
Have fun with your less phone minutes and capped data. Sure I don't talk on the phone much (and I'm on a family plan), but grandfathered unlimited data ftw.

1) yeah specwise i dont think .5 is too big a number, but when u compare the two side-by-side .. its somewhat really bad lol, and the colors r kinda diff? i dunno
2) oh it was on androidforums I believe, but if you look at the finish on the back of each Nexus you can see they are not the same.
3) Yeah the bloat is no big deal, i just think its the principal of the matter ya know?
6) same thing principal of the matter.. supposed to be a nexus, but again most ppl wouldnt care about this
7) wow nice dude. yeah im kind of worried about going over 5gb but it should be cool as long as i use wifi when i stream music (which is next to never ;p lol)
8) its just a known fact that LTE tech atm is premature and battery consumption is nuts with the 1st gen radios. This should be a lot better next year. Also, the Razr has good battery i hear, not because the radio isnt killign the battery, but because of the awesome Smart Battery (or something) app in the phone.
9) yeah i was tryign to say its cool cuz its a global phone, even though i dont travel lol.

As for the battery cover finish, I attached a snap from the Getting Started video uploaded the other day. Looks like hyperskin to me. (At least as well as I can see)
Where have you seen an actual side-by-side comparison shot of the two models? I know someone at Android Central made one based on a screenshot from one of the videos, but I'm pretty sure the colors and thickness of the LTE one look different because of different lighting in the pictures.
And as for the fact that Verizon messing somewhat with a little bit of the software on the phone as going against the principle of having a Nexus, I understand where you're coming from, but Verizon is by no means corrupting the spirit of this phone. This model (4G LTE, SCH-i515?) is Verizon-specific, so doesn't Verizon have some sort of right to do SOMETHING with it? All the GSM carriers selling the GSM unlocked model get identical phones, so no wonder they aren't carrier branded. Just saying.
I'm perfectly happy with the little changes Verizon is making, so long as they don't encrypt the bootloader or do anything to impede being able to get timely OS updates. (Yes, I know it won't be instant rollout like with the GSM model). This is the first time a Nexus phone has come to Verizon, and I'll be getting it
Do you have a link to were you bought it. I'm seriously considering doing the same thing, based on your list in your original post. I'm also tired of waiting.

I'm fairly sure it looks weird because he photoshopped it out of a video, not out of a press shot or something. Basically impossible to judge size and shape that definitively off of cutting an image out of a video.
Even if the phone is a tad thicker than 9.47mm like it's advertised to be, I won't complain. Just like I didn't complain about how thick my OG is (for the record, the GN is the thickness of the OG Droid minus the screen)
Topics like this one are the *EXACT* problem I have with this forum. People spouting knowledge about a topic they know nothing about.
Nobody even knows how the LTE version performs...so making assumptions about it is completely ridiculous. You make a post about all these "facts" when, in fact, very few of them are even true or confirmed. Allow me to go through the list:
1) Is way thinner and not ugly
.50mm is absolutely nothing...most people wouldn't notice the difference. Ugly? It looks identical.
2) has a hyperskin coating on the back and not brushed aluminum
You have no idea what the back of this phone is made out of...don't make assumptions.
3) Is bloat-free lol
Assumptions? Yes. Nobody knows for sure there is "bloatware" on it. The video everybody talks about is using a pre-release version of the hardware and software and Verizon might have paid to have the apps displayed in that video.
4) Is already released "exclusively" around the world, excluding the US
Because it's a different phone...the LTE model is a different phone than the one released around the world.
5) Is not under the twisted control of an evil carrier
lol
6) Does not have any stupid carrier logos anywhere
Firstly, they're on the back. Secondly, get a $1 battery cover and suddenly they're gone!
7) Is cheaper (Phone itself, and Tmo/ATT plans vs VZW - $30 vs $95)
Nobody knows what the price is, so your assumptions are invalid and ignorant. As for the plans...what? What TMo or AT&T plan is $30? I have AT&T and for the lowest amount of minutes and unlimited text and data I pay around $90. On Verizon the same thing is $90. I'm mad at the difference.
8) Uses a lot less battery because it doesn't have a huge/premature LTE radio
lol the reason you're saying this is because you haven't *used* LTE. Firstly, the LTE version has a bigger battery...meaning the "less battery" is pretty much negated. Secondly, it has ****ING LTE. The difference is speed is incredible (my Galaxy Tab connects at around 25/10Mbps...which is actually faster than my home internet).
9) Can be used on various carriers and around the world
I'm very mad at this too. It's too bad that the one time I leave the country every other year I'll have to use my company phone. Then again, I'll be on vacation...so I won't be using that, either. Not a problem.

But yeah, you use this thing every single day and it is much, much, much, more than just a phone Think of the extra $100 as a fee for getting this sexy unicorn two months early, anddd if the 32GB comes out in the next 90 days, you can return this one and buy that one (<--my plan, im going to keep the box + receipt ;p)

Fed up with all the negative posts. I saw the ASUS Transformer forums do the same in the early days of release.
1) I think my Nexus is great - I used to have a Desire. Now I have a phone that I think is MUCH better.
2) Im very happy for anyone who feels their phone is better but will have much more respect for those who compare based on hands on experience. However why KEEP posting on a Nexus forum why you think your phone is better ? Post how great your phone is on its own forum.
3) Im fully aware that there are some bugs. Most of these will be fixed by software updates. Its part of the 'fun' of being an early adopter.
4) Threads about hardware problems are fine and very useful. I havent experienced any myself (yet) and hopefully Samsung will fix/recall/exchange.
5) I know the camera is limited and 'only' 5mp. thats fine. i use my phone for point and shoot. Im old enough to remember the first digital cameras. This camera does me fine.
Regards,
Happy Nexus Owner
(are there any others out there ?)
p.s. I love my Transformer too.
I don't have one yet, but I'm planning on picking one up soon. New devices always bring out the loud-mouth whiners who apparently spend 8+ hours on the board complaining every day. I've got a job...
Anyway, the device looks great. I'm really excited. It will be my first Nexus device (although my wife did have the Nexus S, and I run CM7 on my EVO 4G). It will also be my first GSM device - I'm in the US and switching from Sprint to AT&T. I plan on picking up a European unlocked unit. Sprint's network has gotten really terrible lately. Can't wait for the new toy!

Where are you ordering yours from? I'm also on AT&T and looking to buy an unlocked gsm version from the UK. I've found: https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-i9250-google-galaxy-nexus-black-unlocked.html and http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.ph...xus-16gb--sim-free-unlocked--titanium-silver-
Handtec appears to be cheaper (after converting), but they aren't including the VAT charge in the price... so it may end up being more expensive.
other than the volume / 900MHz interference issue, I am really happy with this phone. It's just a shame that this issue is tainting the experience for me.
I love the screen, it's easily the best screen I've had on a mobile phone, Android 4.0 is great, along with all the updated Google Apps.
Google+ still cannot do notifications properly though...Google need to sort that one out!
But I am happy with the phone (albeit for the 900MHz problem)

You don't pay VAT when you import to the US. Negri is just seriously more expensive for some reason (most of their devices are more expensive).
Clove and Handtec both have phones (and all indications are they're reputable). I believe Handtec is holding shipments because they're aware of the volume bug. Check out the specific threads for the Clove and Handtec orders. Lots of info in there.
just posted a thread on the accessories about a great cheap case/cover ... order it in advance to keep your new purchase shiny

One thing I am loving is in the developers section you can change the animation speeds. Gives a great different feel to the phone.

Believe it or not they're helpful. Yes, some lack detail and could be considered petty, repetitive or both, but I'm a big boy and can sift through banal chatter to glean some good comparitive information. And while everyone knows what the specs are in advance, actual comments on real-world performance are helpful. For example, I could give two craps about 5 vs. 8 megapixels in the camera but I do want to know how well it takes pictures and videos. And to say "you knew it was 5 megapixels before you bought it" every time someone posts their camera experience is a stupid and biased comment. If the forum were limited to nothing but happy posts it would simply be a club for fanboys.

erm.... i think you missed my point.....
I have no problem with negative posts. But .... if you were coming onto this forum to investigate a phone you would read:
1) Posts about hardware problems (useful)
2) Problems about software faults (useful - but ICS not Nexus)
3) People stating why they think their phone is better (inevitable)
You dont tend to find many posts praising the phone which i dont think provides a fair comparison. You dont get many people starting threads saying 'i have no issues'.
Im quite able to sift through what i do and dont want to read.
This thread was just to state that there are a lot of people (hopefully) who are pleased with their purchase and to state some of the good things about the phone.
Maybe some people investigating the Nexus will be able to see that its not all doom and gloom .... its a great phone
We are living in exciting times, the things these handsets can do we could only dream about just a few years ago. Bug or no bug I just love this device. Great performance, great display, just Android on another level. I trust Samsung will sort these issues out overtime, be it with new software or replacement hardware. In the meantime I'll enjoy my Galaxy Nexus.

Compared with the analogue Nokia i had 18 years ago things have moved on significantly
Edit: I apologize - this goes in the Q&A Forum. Please move it.
I've had my HTC G2 (Desire Z) for about 15 months now. I've been happy with it - the phone seems indestructible. I love being able to change ROMs any time I get bored with it. But the screen size, low resolution (480) and speed is bothering me more and more. I tried ICS on it, and it was too laggy to use.
I've been eyeing the Galaxy Nexus for the past month - watching the prices fall on Amazon. They are about $550 now, $650 if I want to buy direct from Amazon. There are a few versions, one says no warranty, one says international warranty. If I buy from Amazon, I at least have their 30-day return - not sure about the 3rd party sellers.
Important to me are screen, resolution, speed. In that order.
On one hand, I could just keep waiting and waiting for a better T-Mobile device, but I just don't see a compatible one coming soon. The Galaxy S2 HD would fit the bill, but I don't see it as T-Mobile compatible. The S3 won't be out for a few months. The One-S is not 720p (while the One-X is). I think these facts are all correct.
So, my assessment is that for the next few months, the Galaxy Nexus might be the best phone I can get right now for T-Mobile.
My reservations are (1) lack of US warranty, (2) lack of SD slot.
The lack of the slot doesn't bother me much from a storage standpoint - I don't keep a ton of media on my phone anyway. But I worry about the rooting/ROM issues. Should it concern me that there is no SD slot?
I'm leaving for a trip on Friday, and I could order today and have it tomorrow.
So, given my situation, does this look like a good buy? Should I get the Amazon version over the other third party vendors ($100 difference).
Thanks for the advice.
Warranty is very important. Negri and Expansys fulfills their warranties and both are well-known companies.
Negri:
DEFECTIVE ITEMS: A defective item may be returned for repair within 25 days of date of purchase. If an repair is not possible we will offer a refurbished replacement. If this is not available you will be offered a store credit toward a future purchase. If you would prefer a refund (instead of a store credit), you may request a full refund, minus shipping charges. The exchange process typically takes 8-10 days to complete. Every (Non Carrier Branded) device comes with a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. After 25 days our exchange/return policy has expired, you should contact the manufacturer for repair or for warranty replacement or exchange, if your device qualifies for this. Please contact the manufacturer to determine if the device you hold is covered under their warranty. If you would like to send your device to us to send to the manufacturer you are free to do so. Please request an RMA. This will delay the warranty process by 1-2 weeks and you will be charged shipping to and from the manufacturer. You will need the original invoice from us in order to have your item repaired or exchanged by the manufacturer. Warranty varies by manufacturer, but typically warranties are valid for 1 year from purchase. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST request an RMA in order to return any device.

Expansys:
That will depend on what country you live in, what site you buy from and where the product is sourced. Not an easy answer to that one I'm afraid.
In any case, on the Samsung phones you will get 1 year warranty through Expansys, so you can always contact us if you are in need of a repair.

I would go with either of those two choices for buying a Galaxy Nexus. Negri offers for $595 and ships from Las Vegas, NV... Expansys offers the phone for $599 and ships from Chicago, IL.
As far as "lack of SD slot" this is very misleading. Let's think of it this way (most new phones are in this case),
When they say "SD slot" they mean external "hard drive space." The phone itself is equipped with "internal hard drive space" so it's like the same format as the iPhone. It doesn't have a SD card slot, but the phone itself has internal hard drive space.
And no while factory wiping, it will not wipe your phone's "sdcard (internal hard drive)." Everything remains intact, it'll pretty much be a "sdcard" that is irremovable with a size of 16GB (some of that space will be reserved for the Android OS so you don't get exactly the 16GB btw).
In my opinion, it's definitely worth it... this phone will last a long time. And I don't think T-Mobile will be getting any good phones, their upcoming phone is the Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G.. which isn't that good. Phone itself is bootloader unlocked (fastboot oem unlock) supports HSPA+ (4G) on T-Mobile. What's there not to like? Updates coming from Google, strong developer community, very active forum, a lot of accessories to choose from.

Negri: https://negrielectronics.com/samsun...galaxy-nexus-black-unlocked.html#.T2DE4L9SRq0
Thanks for all of this great advice.
Any reason not to buy direct from Amazon (other than price)?
I'm in Chicago, so I would pay sales tax is I ordered from Expansys.
The other 3rd party vendors that have Prime shipping are:
Global Mobiles
BlutekUSA
Yapper
Pavilion Electronics
The Wireless Circle
Any of those sound familiar?
I don't mind paying a bit more for peace of mind, so paying the Amazon premium might be worth it.
Thanks again for the advice.

The thing about the Nexus device is that it's always going to have the most development and get software updates first. I've had every phone on T-Mobile including the Nexus S and from experience if you hate skins and don't like waiting for development or updates then go for the GNex. I can't stand anything besides a Nexus device and I learned that the hard way, went through about 30 phones last year and I stuck with my Nexus S until I could afford my GNex.
If you don't mind skins and waiting for AOSP/CM9 to come out for the phone you decide to get then I would either wait for the GS3 (which might not be available until later in the year) or the One S, it has QHD and Super Amoled which are both pretty cool, I can't really go back to LCD after coming from SAMOLED screens.
The GNex I'd say fits all your important requirements and if you plan to hold onto a phone for a while, I'd say go for it, it's THE best phone on the market now, many people might argue that, but I've seen about 9/10 tech sites praising it and saying how great it is. Don't get me wrong it has its flaws, but it's pros definitely out way the cons compared to other phones on the market. PURE AOSP, timely updates, great development(Morfic, Franco, OGDobber, Roman-AOKP, Ezekeel, and a lot of other very talented devs). Get the GNex, you won't be disappointed. As far as the lack of SD card, you can put a good amount of media on 16gb and if you can't there is always Google music and swapping out songs and what not. I've learned to live with it since owning a Nexus S for about 6 months. Also internal is going to be faster than external, so I think a lot of new phones are starting to adopt the internal flash rather than external. It's my favorite Android phone and I've had a lot of them, lol I don't see me getting rid of it until the next Nexus ;D.

If I helped please press the thanks button. It's the very least you can do ... the reasoning why you wouldn't buy it from Amazon is for warranty purposes. Amazon themselves are not selling Galaxy Nexus, it is third-party vendors. On contrast, Expansys & Negri are both trustworthy and will fulfill your warranty.
I got my GN from newegg and it comes with a 30 day refund/90 exchange period.
Coming from an SE X10, the phone is a much nicer overall experience. The colors are better and smoother, but the screen clarity isn't what I was hoping for. Apparently, AMOLED screens are prone to some pixel grit at low brightness and I'm experiencing very light ghosting issues. Unfortunately, my eyes are really sensitive to seeing the grain.
As for the warranty, Samsung USA has been fairly craptastic about servicing gray-market phones, which is pretty deplorable considering the Nexus name, so you're better off paying the premium with a vendor that will facilitate RMA's or go with Squaretrade if your very concerned about it. On the brightside, I haven't read about a lot of phone-breaking problems that would require repair beyond some units that have some serious banding and ghosting that lasts upto 15 seconds.
On the otherhand, X10's had some wdiespread problems with broken usb ports, but their warranty support was great.

You might want to try using a kernel featuring Ezekeel's Color Control. Here's a link explaining it, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521195 I personally don't have a problem with the screen but check it out and it might help with your problem
Thanks everyone for all the useful input.
I ordered from Newegg. I like that they have 90 days protection (though it is through a third party), and then I added in the $59 one-year ServiceNet policy. Hopefully I won't need it, but it might help in a bind.
The phone was $579. I'll have it on Monday, I think.
Now I have to learn a new rooting procedure. And get used to ICS!
Thanks again.

Check stickied threads for rooting. It's relatively simple.
1. Get ADB drivers
2. bootloader mode
3. fastboot oem unlock
4. done.... now flash clockwork recovery (fastboot flash recovery recoveryname.img)
5. download rom/kernel/gapps -> flash in cwr -> done.
Congrats on your purchase. Newegg is really good when it comes to shipping so you might get it this week depending on where you're located.
Thanks. Just got my phone and am doing my homework.
Can I use 4Ext or do I need CW?
I'm on a mac, so I won't be using that GNex toolkit. I have the ADB drivers already installed on my mac from my last root for my G2.

At this point, I would say jump on GS3.
Something to keep in mind, the GN is PENTAband. If you ever move or something and Tmobile has terrible coverage, you can more than likely get Walmart's 45 dollar per month plan (using ATT) and still get HSPA+ service.
I'd say wait for the 'Universe Nexus'.
LoL.
However, if you can't wait that long, I'd get the Galaxy Nexus.
I have one. It was purchased for me as a gift on Amazon and you won't regret owning one.
I love this phone.
Having said that, there's a lot of Hype about the new 'One' series phones from HTC and the SGS3.
Are they worth the wait? Probably, but there's always gonna be a 'next' new phone just on the horizon. So don't wait too long
Good luck.
Considering my GNX arrived an hour ago, I'm going to stick with that for awhile.
It is now bootloader unlocked and rooted.
About to put CWR on and then probably AOKP.
Ok so I just could not wait more, and ordered them from UK, as US take way to much time to stock,
Conversion from:
-$133.02 USD
Conversion to:
£81.93 GBP
Exchange rate:
1 U.S. Dollar = 0.615924 British Pounds
I still didn't got the device as it's price start to drop for SGS3 cumming next month, and in US it cost only 399$, if you would to buy that acessories, how much you think they really worth? 133$ is including not so cheap shipping from UK to Israel, not that from US it more cheaper, but UK got stock.
PS, I pay nothing from my work , only from some stuff I sold on eBay, BTW is GNEX still worth buying? I mean QUAD core? who need it? from hardware side is not so bad for 399$? I do considering to buy NEXUS tables ASAP
Why no comments? I mean how much will you pay to get them?
Personally, I wouldn't pay that much for them. I've never liked the added bulk of extended batteries, and the desktop dock has certain limitations that make me leery of paying too much for it.
I don't know anything about how batteries are priced, but I wouldn't pay any more than $45 or so for the desktop dock. Someone on another forum bought one for his VZW GNex and found out the hard way that it doesn't fit, so I'm going to try to get him to haggle down the price.
I absolutely think the Nexus is a great phone even though it may not have the latest specs. It has a decent selection of high-end features, like the 720p screen and software-based buttons, and it's one of the most "open" phones out there. $399 is reasonable for that.
My biggest complain from my older android devices was, that microUSB ports trend to stop working, even if I use them with caution, I have some BB devices, and used a desktop dock, similar to the one for nexus, what I also liked about BB is the LED, it was so useful, Google did very good product with Samsung, I dunno why not many manufacturers use docks..in Japan for example, every phone have a dock, but the future of course cordless charging. About the battery..well Android is still the same over the years, so +250mAh is always welcome, and it looks good, not like that stupid kit fit SII
PS, I know the rumors about Google to make 5 NEXUS devices, but that not bother me, 2 cores is fine, and I not play much, so GPU not so important.
Its been protected by an otterbox from the time it came out of the box so the phone will look brand new and it also has a 64 gb microsd card. What will be the resell value when the s4 comes out?
what was the sell value of the S2 when the S3 came out? There is your answer. We can't predict the future lol.
It will depend on the market. For instance, how much of an improvement the S4 is will have a hand in determining how many average users will want to upgrade, and if it's a large number of people trying to sell S3s at the same time, it can drive the price down - as well as holiday sales. As well as competing phones also entering the used market or new devices that compare but are cheaper than the S3 was when new - and et cetera.
I'd guess $350-450 at first, but it's just a guess. I paid $450 for this S3 in mint condition, no sd card a bit ago. Prices will only fall - the S2 for example can be had for $250-ish in good condition currently, it looks like. The sd card is good selling point, though - and so will good pictures (if you're selling on ebay, people will be willing to spend a bit more, typically, if they are confidential they can trust you).

With respect, you're thinking way too much. Bottom line, there's thousands of Android phones in the market. So, the resell value is low - this isn't an iPhone where people will flock to it and OS features are, for the most part, across the board.

I was trying to phrase it as diplomatically as possible that there's no way to give an answer. :silly:
Although I do think that with their Galaxy line, Samsung has pretty good brand-recognition at the moment when it comes to people who aren't looking for an iPhone.
That aside, the SII is still going for $200-300, so I think that's doing pretty good for a phone that's starting to show some age. By that, I don't think $350-450 is unbelievable considering that the SIII will have just ended its time in the spotlight when the SIV (okay, that looks like a disease) comes out.
