I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere, and in the Nexus S forums nobody replied there either. Does anyone know if the Galaxy Nexus supports ANT+? Thanks for any help.
Programs like ANT radio player etc don't show up on my GN, so I imagine it doesn't have ANT+, or google haven't correctly updated their list.
If you know an easy way to check I don't mine running something on my GN for you.
thanks, I was afraid that it may not have it. However, it's not a deal breaker for me.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to check for it, but thanks for the offer.

Obviously my google-fu is no good, so I have come here in the hopes of some information!
Firstly, I received an MMS which had a 3gp vid clip - I can't play it. The device doesn't even seem to recognise it.
Secondly, Is there a list of commands anywhere that I can use to setup AEButton Plus? Things such as going straight into a new SMS or MMS.
Any help much appreciated. Thankyou.
*pout*
hehe
Does this overwhelming lack of response mean that no-one can help me? or that my question was so badly worded you couldn't understand it? or that you just don't care?
Can someone at least pls tell me how to play 3gp?
The commands I want are around, I just haven't found them yet - I know there are some in a thread on this site, but it was months ago when I saw that and can't remember where.
I've seen some specs that say it supports bluetooth MAP profile, and some specs that omit it. The Samsung spec sheet doesn't seem to list it (at least not the one I've found). Before I buy this phone, I want to make sure the text messaging will work with my Ford Sync system which requires MAP profile to convey the text messages.

I'll test it tomorrow and let your know. I know it didn't work on the GSIII.

Sounds good. Also, let me know what Sync hardware system & S/W version you have. From the research I've been doing, it makes a big difference. FYI - there are a lot of people who have gotten their Galaxy SIII bluetooth MAP profile working with Sync. Try the method posted by "arlinto" on 10/22 about half way down the thread.

MAP works
MAP works beautifully in my '11 Ford Edge (MFT/SYNC) with the NOTE II

I'll have to check that out. I couldn't get the text message to work with SYNC and my Note II. I have a 2011 Ford Fusion. Not sure how to find hardware/software version in the SYNC. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
*EDIT* OK, so I read the androidcentral link you sent me and I have the basic Ford SYNC. I'm going to try what they suggested and see if I can get it work that way. I'll post findings tomorrow.

I'm very interested to see if this method works. I think it is for the Sony w/ Navigation version of the hardware. At least my interface matches the steps.

I spent a good 10 mins dicking around with my SYNC and Note II. I don't have a MAP profile setting so I couldn't do it that way, nor could I find any other way. So, I'm guessing if you just have the basic SYNC system it won't work. Again that is just a guess, I haven't done much research on this whole thing however. Anyway, hope this helped some and if not sorry. I hope someone can shed more light on this for you.

Thanks for trying. My buddy works at Sprint so I might just have him bring me a Note 2 to test out before I go and buy it.
Good idea. Hope it works out for you.

Bluetooth MAP. app that helps
Hello everybody,
For Bluetooth MAP you can check this app from VAiPho "Bluetooth Launcher" that also has interesting functionalities for Samsung users,
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vaipho.bluetooth.launcher
Cheers!

Hey guys! Nice to be here
I've always loved this place 'cause I always found the answers I was looking for but now, fortunately and unfortunately I need to ask for some info more directly.
Well, to put it in a nutshell, I preordered an ADATA UD320 microUSB stick and it doesn't work on my 2nd Gen Nexus 7 that was just updated to Android 4.3.
Oddly, it does work with my Galaxy S2 that's running on Android 4.1.2
Thanks for taking the time to read about my problem!
Cheers!
Nexus Media Importer and/or (when rooted) Stickmount don't work?

Well, I just got the Nexus a couple days ago and I don't want to root it for now, but the thing is that ADATA say that the UD320 is Plug and Play and doesn't require anything else. The stick should see the tablet as a host and I should get the message that removable storage was plugged in like I do on my S2.
I would try Nexus Media Importer, but it sucks that I have to use a third party app for something that should work without it. Now, I'm not complaining like a little baby because I truly appreciate this technology and the people that made it possible, but it would be so AWESOME if it actually worked
Anyway, thanks for the tips. If all else fails I'll try the Media Importer but I'm still hoping there could be some kind of fix...or at least people that have the same issue.
EDIT:
I eventually found this thread on Google Code:
code dot google.com in Android Issues with the tag 58277 (sorry, can't post links yet)
From what I understand, there seems to be a bug in Android 4.3 which seems to be preventing some units of Nexus 7 tablets from being able to host USB devices other than keyboards and mice...
Somewhere in the conversation (post #215) it's suggested by possibly a developer that this bug might be addressed in Android 4.4
If someone else is experiencing the same problem as I am and has more know-how about Android's more inner workings, I'd very much appreciate their take on this
I did try something that seemed to have worked. I used the instructions here:
otgtroubleshooter dot blogspot.cz in the article "android 4.3 issue 58277" (again, sorry, can't post links yet )
After this I used OTG Troubleshooter (Play Store) to see if it somehow resolved my problem. I got an "All OK!" after my first reboot, but my thumb drive still isn't being detected. Maybe this will work for others...
Well, hope to hear from someone soon...
Finally managed to make it work
Well, today I had a bit more time to skim that Google Code thread and found out that for someone it was possible to access their microUSB stick by installing Total Commander and the plugin USB Stick Plugin
I just connect my UD320 to the Nexus 7 and the plugin asked if it should be used by default for said thumb drive and it totally works! I can move files over to my Nexus and vice-versa, and also files can be deleted from the stick. I don't know if it matters or not but I formatted my stick to FAT32 beforehand.
I guess OTG Troubleshooter wasn't completely lying, but it still doesn't work with other File Explorers, unfortunately, so I guess the bug will be fixed in Android 4.4. I hope
'Till then, I'm happy to have found a temporary work around and I hope other people will also benefit from this
Cheers and good luck, and please do share if any of you find any other options for making this work!
Anyone know what the hell this is? I don't know what causes them and no way to end the processes at all. Google and xda search doesn't find me much info on this. My only guess is it has something to do with Knox which I don't even use, I don't think I've ever even opened the app. I guess I could use another browser but I'd rather not. Any info on this would be appreciated.
Nobody knows ANYTHING? Glad to know at least I'm not the only one.
So I'm trying to use the Quickbooks app but it tells me that it doesn't work with this device? It's running the same version of android as my S5 (4.4.2), so whats the issue? If I root and delete some of the AT&T bs will it work? Does anybody have experience making it work? Do I have to make Google thing it's another device altogether? Or is it just not going to work at all? I use the QB app for all of my CC processing, and thought a small tablet would be easier, and look a bit more professional than my phone. Thanks in advance.
Quickbooks is very good software for small business. I suggest you to content Quickbooks support number for solve your issues Directly.
