I've used the Crystal,Oleo,Optics and Ultra Matte.
My favorite is the Oleo since its super clear but has absolutely no smudge protection, the Optics also offers a midway smudge protection with a tad bit blurring.
The Crystal is a smudge and glare magnet while the Ultra Matte is just blurry hell but has no smudges.
I have a UO one right now on my Note, but I am unhappy about the cutting. There's a gap at the top above the speakerphone. I don't remember SGP being this sloppy.

I've been trying to get a UO for the note but it looks like they've stopped making them. Maybe to correct the cut problem?

Quality's great, although it is hard to clean. No way to use a dry cloth for this, gotta be slightly damp.

I just like the feel of the Ultra Optics. The Ultra Oleo isn't very finger friendly for games.

Does anyone have this. I am currently looking to get a better screen protector than the one that I got from verizon and this looks like a good option.
So does anyone have any experience with this type of screen protector and any pros and cons about it?
Assuming you're getting this for anti-fingerprint purposes, the SGP Ultra fine will do you wonders. It does prevent fingerprints from getting on to the screen. However, it slightly compromises the display a little. You will see little artifacts from the light of the display going through the screen protector, since there are layers in there used for the anti-fingerprint.
Don't get this if you want ultra clear display, or if you don't care much about having fingerprints. If you want ultra clear, try their Ultra Crystal Clear.
I've been using it so far for about 2 weeks.. Amazing for anti-fingerprint purposes..
One of the best screen protectors I have ever had..
Definitely recommended..
I've had the ultra fine for about a week and so far it's great. The clarity of the screen is definitely compromised, but you don't notice it after a bit. One of the best things is your fingers don't drag/catch like they can on naked glass or crystal style protectors. It just sort of glides across the surface.
what do you guys think about the anti-glare on this screen protector?
I have ultra fine and i like it, but there is alot of glare outdoors, but it does its job, i see no fingerprints on the screen.
as Purgatoiry said you definitely slide across the screen with this screen guard.

huh, it is supposed to be anti glare...
Dunno what to say, because of the matte finish, when the sun is on it its hard to see.
just my 2c of course, and even with the glare, i still wont use any other screen protector.
Wouldn't use anything besides a Steinheil.

I had one of the earlier anti-fingerprint protectors on my incredible and I noticed the same thing. I think the problem is that the sunlight gets diffused in the screen which makes it hard to see through the glare.

Crystal Clear is like glass. It's probably the best option if you want to protect your screen but want to make it feel like nothing is there. I have one on mine and people, who play with my phone, don't realize there's a protector on it until they see the seam for the protector.
I hear alot of good things about SGP and was wondering which choice will give me the following in order of importance.
1. smooth surface for easy finger gliding
2. Thin material
3. Non-matte screen
4. anti smudge
Thanks guys, im confused with all the options

Cool thanks for the tip. Does anyone know if its possible to get the whole body protection, but with a crystal screen protector? I don't see that option
The crystal clear works really well for my SGSI, almost smudge free though someone with really sharp fingernails--I think--managed to scratch the top right corner of the SP. The same protector on my SGSII seems to attract a lot more smudges, for some strange reasons. But I've tried enough protectors with the SGSI to stick to the crystal clear. To me, it has the best balance between clarity, viewing angles and protection.

yes..it has the smooth touch feeling 100%.no other protector has this .
.screen looks like there is no protector on..the sp name is correct..
very easy to install..
other sgp protectors are better only on fingerprints and smudges(but even on that the crystal clear is fine..much better than other clear protectors
where can we find this crystal one?
edit: you probably talking about this one: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/sgp-ultra-crystal-screen-protector-for-samsung-galaxy-s2-p30581.htm
Buy it straight from their web site:

My oleophobic one arrived this friday. Packaged very well. The shipping was quick. Took 12 days and thats coming through south african customs which can be a real *****
so how is the feeling of the protector? Does it slow down the touch operation?
you propose the oleophobic one? not the crystal?
I have the ultra crystal, a great screen protector, and pretty easy to put on.
It gets smudged a lot more than the screen without it on, but the feel is still good.
My keys ran across the screen, and left what looked like a scratch, I panicked, then just wiped it off, so far so good!
Doesn't seem anyone got the full body protection?

Ultra optics get dirty after a few weeks, and are hard to clean. They also make a zip sound when you run your finger on it.
See my thread here for the Ultra Crystal (aka "Crystal Clear" -- I assume) SP from SGP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1219115#
I am awaiting for its arrival tomorrow, but it seems to be the best if you want: clarity & protection (thickest of all the SGP SPs). However, from the reviews, it tends to be a fingerprint magnet.
Hey guys,
Got my hands on the SGP Ultra Oleophobic screenshield from SGP, which they make for a variety of different devices. This is an oil resistant screenshield, which unlike the Ultra Optics, does not affect screen quality at all, but isn't as resistant from fingerprints / glare as the Optics. Overall I'm really pleased with the final product, you can find the full review below:
Yep i have this on my phone too and it is very good, ive never had any problems.

The crystal version has a more similar feeling to the naked glass, whereas this one is smoother, which some may or may not be a good thing.
Crystal version is for someone who wants to protect their screen without affecting quality or texture, but you'll still get fingerprints.
I still prefer the Optics since it helps with glare as well.
Better for clarity: oleophobic
Better against fingerprints: optics
Hope I helped!

Thanks, but if you compare clarity from optics to oleophobic how bad is the optics? I don't mind fingerprints but having to constantly wipe and having the edges of the screen build up dirt/oil/prints is really ugly to clean. I'm sure it'll ruin the rubber/silicon case that I'll be using (sgp neo hybrid or ex).

The oleophobic is close to 100% clarity for me, really hard to tell if it affects quality whatsoever, seems to be super clear.
The ultra optics is probably 90% clear, you can definitely tell there is something on it but viewing the screen is fine, not uncomfortable.
Like I said before, I'd still choose the ultra optics over anything else because of the benefits against fingerprints and dirt, I can live with a little screen degradation.

Completely agree. Although I prefer the Ultra optics, the Oleophobic is still a great option.
I have the Ultra oleophobic and it was great at first but after a couple months, i start to see a lot of smudges, fingerprints and oil on the screen. So it's not really holding it up for me.
Now I'm just looking at the other ones.. What's the difference really between Ultra Optics and Ultra Fine? I'm looking for one that is good or at least decent on fingerprints and the best clarity. Which one is better? It just makes it seem confusing since both are matte style with antiglare/anti-fingerprint properties but they are two different products!

The Ultra Fine is what is known as a classic anti-fingerprint protector, it severely affects screen quality but does the best job at preventing smudges and glare.
The Ultra optics has better screen clarity, so there is not as much loss of quality, and while it does a good job at preventing smudges, it is not as good as the Ultra Fine.
Re: The Crystal version as mentioned earlier in the thread; I couldn't get rid of it fast enough, it seemed to magnify fingerprints. That said, when it was clean and untouched it was "invisible". Touch sensitivity was affected as well, not as good as no protector obviously, but paled in comparison to the Ultra Optics which was unexpected.

I haven't tried an Ultra Crystal in over a year now, back on the iPhone - I too was disappointed that the fingerprints were so noticeable.
Hi,
I finally got SGP Ultraclear screen protector and installed it successfully last night. It is very clear and screen looks same as before. But I found a few issuea which I didn't expect.
First, I can easily see a lot of finger prints. It was not noticeable when there was no protector but now I can clearly see it.
Second I also can see rainbow effect from side view. It is hard to see from normal angle though.
I may take off this protector later. I am wondering if this is normal.

gorilla glass is scratch resistant, not scratch proof.
and the galaxy note doesnt have gorilla glass. it has a form of hardened glass, but its not gorilla glass. or so ive read in one of the threads here.
personally, i prefer to have a screen protector for those times you accidentally drop your phone on something or you drop something on your phone. i cant stand scratches on displays since they tend to refract light and annoy the hell out of me.
i think u should go with SGP ultra optics screen protector , i havent tried it personally but people been saying good things about it.
what concerns me about it is that does it affect the display an way or another ? grainy effects ?
for the moment i have a Brando ultra clear screen protector , its very good and clear but its a fingerprint magnet , supposedly with SGP ulta optics u should get ultra clariness and no fingerprints.
would love some feedback from someone who already tested it
cheers

highly recommend! It may be the best anti fingerprint protector, tried the anti fingerprint from SGP on SG2, many "color spots", ultra optics has NO "color spots" produce, of coz it not as clear as the ultra crystal, but really worth it.

some places mention it has gorilla glass, some doesnt.
its not listed on the samsung website and its not listed on the corning website so i'd say we cant confirm or deny it. all we do know is that the galaxy nexus isnt using gorilla glass either, its using hardened glass. so the best we can hope for is that the galaxy note is also using hardened glass.

I purchased the same product from Amazon. It is really clear and does fit the whole screen, even has a cut out for the home button. Went on relatively easily without the need for a solution. Cant even tell it on there.
It's not a solution aided style protector, if you add solution you will ruin it.
The trick is being in a clean room with no air flow, then you can have as many goes as you want without getting too much dust, and what you do get you can remove with the dust removing sticker.
I got 3 Screen Guard protectors with a TPU S-Case from eBay. I really had no interest in the protectors, but I like it a lot better than I thought I would. Fingerprints don't wipe off completely but they seem to blend in with the plastic. You almost can't see them anyway when the screen is on. I see no rainbow effect and there is no image distortion unless the screen gets too oily.

Cracks me up every time I read something like this
I used to be very careful up til the day my wife got a screen protector installed by a guy in the Beijing subway (yeah, anything can be done at those subway exits). And believe me, it is windy, and dusty! Those who may know Beijing know how true that is
Result really is perfect....
Sorry don t mean to offend, just funny to see how good care we put into it and seeing how one guy sitting in a dusty, windy area can pull it off just as well

No offense taken
But, keep in mind that the dude in the subway is experienced, it takes him 15 seconds prob to clean + fit + charge you.
Where as normal user who have done it maybe 3 - 5 times, will need more time!

any chance you can show us the cut out? is it a 4 edge hole at the bottom instead a U shape?
Hey fellas,
Finally got my hands on the SGP Curved Crystal for the Galaxy S3. This is a full coverage screen protector similar to the Tridea True Shield, but I quickly realized this is a better product. Installation was very simple and the results are incredible! Fit and finish is fantastic, covering the whole display and only having cutouts for the speaker, home button and front facing camera. Clarity is great as well, although it shows a little fingerprinting on it. For my personal use, this is terrific and I highly recommend you watch the video below and see if it's a fit for you!

What about the scratches ? Does it scratch like the SGP Ultra Nano Clear ?

Not as bad as it, no. They are mostly hairline scratches. Some users reported that theirs 'dented' if you pushed your nails into it too hard, although I haven't experienced that problem.

You'll be fine with mostly ANY other screen protector, seeing as they aren't made for full coverage.
Great review, would you happen to know if the screen protector would have any problem with the SGP Neo Hybrid? I'm guessing it shouldn't since they're both SGP products. I'm looking for a screen that offers full screen protection so I might end up picking this up or the glas.t that they have up for sale.

I've had the shield on for 10 days or so and I haven't experienced a wide-spread issue with the denting, this may be just because my nails are cut very short. However, when I read the issues some were having, I decided to purposely try and dent the screenshield and see if any blemishes would be permanent or if they would disappear. Most screen protectors have self-healing properties and this one did the same for the forced dents I created. Seems any permanent dents would come from applying extreme pressure to the shield.
Would an Otterbox work or is it like a TPU case and cause peeling?
